  1. Welcome aboard! Received friendly, first-rate customer service from Kourtney last week. Couldn't be happier.
  2. Brilliant Glaze is simply brilliant on my Black CTS-V! One of my favorites for sure. Welcome Sean!
  3. I was Wedge skeptical at first and I have to admit, I totally love it. Holds soap like a champ and is far easier to clean than a pad. Like others, I tend to use the wedge above the belt-line and the pad below.
  4. supercharger whine isn't the issue as much as a rattling sound. like marbles, especially at idle. good news is GM extended the warranty on superchargers to 100,000 miles I think...so worst case is you get it replaced under warranty. Rear end chatter, groaning, whining. My rear end was replaced under warranty at 24,000 miles. the pinion bearing failed. some owners had issues with "clicking" front rotors. If you're interested in mods, head over to ctsvowners.com If you're looking to protect your warranty, your mod options are limited. Personally, I've opted for intake and mufflers only (keeps warranty in tact) and have been focusing more on "appearance" mods. e.g. lowering, window tint, new wheels, etc. That being said these motors respond very well to mods and tuning and there are some very impressive HP numbers out there. Best of luck with the purchase. These are great cars!
  5. It's not necessarily all mulch, just mulch that's infected with artillery "shotgun" fungus. Unfortunately it's pretty common. It doesn't take much either. once one of those cells blows, it fires an awful lot of spores 10-15 feet in the air. Then they virtually weld themselves to whatever they land on. Cars, vinyl siding, etc. Good luck cleaning them off and if they are spores, just be mindful where you park the car in the future. Oh and GO ROSSI !
  6. Do you park the car near mulch? I'm going with spores from artillery fungus. Those spores are a major PITA to remove. You say they are like raised black bumps?
  7. You got patriot in a mystery box?!?!?? Score!!!
  8. Thank you to those who chimed in, your advice really helped. Today's little operation was a success! It didn't take much at all....maybe 5 minutes total. Here's what I did: Car was dusty/mildly dirty from being driven this week, so I spritzed it with a hefty dose of Waterless Wash and gently wiped with a Waffle Weave to spot clean the area. Clay bar with Detail Spray as lube - removed any embedded contaminants and maybe 20% of the paint transfer Brilliant Glaze applied by hand with Microfiber applicator pad - took about three applications / passes to remove all of the red paint Buffed with a borderless blue Voila! paint transfer gone! One happy work colleague and fellow Cadu owner! Adams satisfies once again! Pat in PA
  9. Thanks all! I'll clay it first. Weather is miserable here today (North Central NJ)....will do this tomorrow and report back.
  10. Great! Thank you! I totally forgot that I have Brilliant Glaze as well.... and clay. I'll bring Clay, Glaze, Revive and Finishing. I'll be sure to report back on how it goes. Thanks again.
  11. I have a friend at work that has a small amount of red paint transferred onto her new white Caddy SRX, (from another car's door). It's driving her crazy... I volunteered to help remove it tomorrow it the parking lot so I won't be able to use my PC, it will have to be by hand. What product do you guys recommend? I was thinking to try everything I have starting with least aggressive toward more aggressive. Americana Revive Paint Finishing Polish Paint Correcting Polish I kind of think the Revive might do the trick. Any experience / recommendations? Many thanks! Pat in PA
  12. Adam, Thanks for giving us a peek behind the curtain... as well as your vision. It stinks that you had to go through what you did. I'm an absolute Amazon Prime junkie and you're right, it has changed my expectation of what e-commerce should be. Quick shipping/delivery is the new normal. I'm a relatively new Adam's customer (and new to detailing) and was initially a bit put off by some of my early experiences. For example a $300 order that was fully charged to my card but only partially filled....it actually took just over a month for me to receive all the items, across 3 or 4 shipments I think. Adams has some great products, products worth waiting for apparently but what really saved me as a customer are your people, your team. The front line customer support could not have been any better during this difficult time. I've spoken to both Ashley and Benjamin....usually Benjamin. Ben's upbeat and friendly personality together with the thorough and honest explanation of what had happened was genuine. I never felt like I was getting the run-around. His pursuit of customer satisfaction is amazing. I'll give you an example: I called one evening after work but received voice-mail. Apparently everyone was busy helping other customers. I chose not to leave a message, figuring I would just call back later. Well Ben called ME! He picked up my number from caller ID and called me back. He said he saw that I had called and wanted to make sure that I was taken care of. He personally saw to it that my backorder / shipping mix up / missing items got squared away. Thank you Ben! Adam, please recognize Ben for a job well done throughout your time with and transition away from 3PL. Without team players like Ben and Ashley I'm not sure I'd still be an Adams customer. Great products at fair prices + Outstanding customer service = a positive experience. One that generates loyal customers. Kudos Adams! I also LOVE that you don't have an overly large or confusing catalog of products. Together with your videos, it's clear and easy to understand what products to use when. Oh, and another vote for your east coast DC to be in PA! Patiently waiting for a 4th of July Sale , Pat in PA
