  1. Is this an SiO2 product like Cquartz or polymer like Opti-coat ? and so the ceramic booster is akin to Reload?
  2. Any chance it will make a comeback or is its formulation preventing it's return.
  3. They are also known as Helix twist Microfiber drying towels
  4. Congrats Dustin. Gonna be hard for a one to top the what did you do today thread now.
  5. I too have recently been researching essence and wondered if the new finishing polish was similar. My 93 has been repainted and I have most swirls out but it's been polished on quite a bit by me.I have kind of went thru on a couple of sharp places and am concerned as to how much I can polish. If I had something that would fill the remaining swirls and then be able to ceramic coat it that would be ideal.
  6. yea I still have some MSW and wanted to finish it off before buying more product
  7. Is this a new name for machine superwax or different product? If so how are the 2 different ?
  8. Maybe you should seek out a car club if you aren't in one.
  9. Why Not just buy gallons and split them with friends? Cheaper in the long run although you would have to source your own containers. Also 100th Post Yeaa Me!!
  10. I agree the multi- towel/wash mitt in a single bucket for a wash/ This way you never reintroduce the used mitt back in the wash media. I was always a little more cautious than most with two bucket as I hosed off the used mitt very well BEFORE dunking and scrubbing against the grit guard anyway. Now i use several wash mitts. But then how do you assure that you get them clean afterward? Even a machine wash may not be enough. Anytime you touch the paint you risk scratching it.
  11. yes on hearing conservation. I was told a few years ago that I had some slight loss on left side so now I try and wear ear plugs at work and at home when mowing, weedeating , Skil saw and polishing, I told my wife the reason I had the hearing loss only on that side is because she sits to my left on the love seat. Not amused.
  12. Worked on cleaning up the old 97 Grand cherokee. The clear has failed on top and hood and starting to fail in several other places. But for an old off road brush buster she still cleans up nice. A few hours with a claybar and some Porter cable time got my paint touching fixin. I still love driving it. And it's paid for.
  13. Welcome aboard George!! What part of Charlotte or Charlotte proper. I got family in Denver area.
  14. Mowed for the first time this year. Painted garage door where I repaired it last week, waterless washed both Vettes, brilliant glazed the grey, cleaned under the hood, polished one fuel rail cover, hung 2 new LED 4 ft fixtures and went to the first cruise in of the year.
