Just wondering if people use Iron Remover on their exhaust tips? Is that better than APC?

APC for me. Works great. Don't know what IR would do any better for you?

I also use APC for the exhaust tip and I use a wheel woolie.  I had one vehicle that was from the early 70's and I have no idea what the exhaust tip was made of, but APC would not clean it, so I tried regular wheel cleaner and it cleaned it just as if it was a wheel.  I can't advocate using wheel cleaner for the exhaust tip, but knowing there is a option if APC won't clean it is something I keep in my book.

apc,or wheel cleaner  all I use

I use Wheel Cleaner, and brush with short, stiff bristles.  Usually takes 2 rounds to get them looking good.  If they are really bad, try Metal Polish #1 and 0000 steel wool.

I like to use normal shampoo, then get to hand polishing them bad boys bringing them to a shine.  MP 1 and 2 do the trick.
