  1. Exactly my issue with them. They are "grabby", leave streaks, and don't clean as well as the older blue ones.

When I first started using the new green towels I followed specific instructions from Dan Tyger from Adam's and it made no difference at all. I even use Adam's glass sealant and tried applying a fresh coat in my testing which didn't help at all. They're definitely no where near as good as the old blue towel which I'm glad I still have a few.

It's all about situation. You can't (or it seems you can't) use them on grabby windows. Once the window is properly cleaned, subsequent washes with the new glass towel is a breeze.

Using a waffle weave is much easier on a grabby window.

  2. That is strange. Sounds like a sticky windshield, but if that were the case I would suspect the single softs would lint like crazy. That is unfortunate you are having a bad experience with the new (and old) towels.

I hated the old ones, but love the new ones. It is a different experience for everyone

  3.

Hey Fellow Cannon users, I just picked up this attachment for my Pressure washer and thought I would share. It works great and is very short so your Adam's Foam Cannon isn't just hanging way out on the end of your wand. its great for 23$ and comes with a set of tips.

Can you show us what the other end looks like? I have been trying to find a similar attachment, but no one local has it.

  4. Where is the filter located on the foam canon? Is it user accessible?

I need an adapter similar to the attached picture. I have a Karcher pressure washer. It has no adapter with it to use with Adams Foam Cannon. I am having trouble finding something that will work locally.

I found some online sites such as AG that carries it, but I am hoping to find a solution within Canada.

    Suggestions?

My exact model is Karcher lr54005

  5. i use APC. My tire applicator I just lightly clean as it is nearly impossible to clean fully when it absorbs VRT.

My Americana applicators I soak for several hours. Then let it dry and soak it again if it still has wax (I fine it dust after awhile depending on how deep the wax got).

My other applicators clean no problem, glaze, revive, buttery, etc. Some APC and water and then dry.

  6. Obviously we need someone from Adams to answer. But a few comments here point to the product working extremely well. Beading from rinsing is not expected, absolutely no water on the paint is expected. If the paint is so slick the water just runs off, then beads cannot form. To repeat, you don't want beads while rinsing! If you are rinsing and no water is left on the car, including no beads, this is a good thing! This means your paint is very slick. This is a good thing.   :lancer:

Edit, another member put up a video:

If that is what you meant, that is completely different than my understanding of the situation. To me, it sounded like all the water was running off of the car with no beads on the paint. In the video, you will see a "sheet" of water stuck on the paint. Two very different scenarios that can be confused when both are referred to as "sheeting."

  7. You have to be a bit more clear. the water sheeting can be a good thing (ie: sheeting method for drying).

While rinsing, I would hope to see no beads. I want no water on the car at all! I want all the water to sheet right off. To be clear, this is very different than water staying on the car as a sheet, not moving anywhere. Think when it rains, dirty cars tend to have a "sheet" of water where-as freshly cleaned/waxed cars tend to bead.

  8. This is one rumor I really hope comes true. I have a coating on my car now, but it's coming off this spring. I've got some cquartz waiting to be applied, but it will go by the wayside if Adam's releases something! Come on AP!!!

I'd love for Adams to come out with one finally. I know awhile back they did not believe in such a coating, but then they started working on it (or appeared to be). With the release of wash and wax, I have high hopes a coating is coming soon.

With my luck, it will be right after I finally splurge on CQUARTZ  :lolsmack:
