You mean dealer installed swirls, not wash, correct?
Had a shop swirl up a brand new paint job they just performed. Craziness...

I would like to see an alignment with Adamspolishes.com and .ca. Every other site is aligned that I visit and has a partner in Canada and the States. It makes no sense to have the two entities, with the same name, but have extremely different behaviour. It really confuses things.
That said, Dexter is a great guy and will accommodate you anyway possible. It would be nice to have .com and .ca aligned more. Adamspolishes.ca has the Adams name, but does not feel like Adams, as we get left behind in . . . almost . . . everything. It was not this bad before, but it has been getting worse and worse overtime. Since the new website followed by all the new products (.com), the Canadian site has fallen behind.
I'd love my Adams products, but this miss-alignment has ultimately reduced my orders with Adams (as a Canadian). I hope to see something done, time will tell.

Think about it fellas, are we just saying that we wouldn't use one because Adams doesn't offer one.....if they did come out with one, say, next week everyone on here would be praising it like it's the newest most incredible thing on the planet......i am an Adams supporter 110% since i started using their line a couple of months ago and i don't see that changing anytime soon.....but you guys need to have an open mind.....try new things out.....give some things a shot.......
Nope. Plenty of Adams products I still do not use. AIO would be one of them (one product I do not use)

I am not a fan of AIO's. You always are sacrificing something in order to make it happen. Why not make a shampoo, clay, polish, and wax AIO? It makes no sense.
Sealant does not take a lot of effort to put on, I would rather keep polishing and sealants separate to ensure the best cutt and best protection possible. Once you start using AIO's, you lose control over the product. -
1 bottle is more than enough. I barely, and I mean barely touch a bottle with 1 vehicle.

Us Canadians still have a clearance section. Yay, something we have you don't
A bunch of retailers are using ebay now I noticed. I recently used Neweggs ebay to buy a SSD for cheaper than their website. Not sure why they do it. Different audience perhaps. -

love the sidekick!

I absolutely love my Glaze cap. It flips up and down. Tried the caps that you pull open, but a fan.

Adamspolishes.ca next?

at first I thought this was a resurrected post. Now I'm sad. Time to whip out some detail spray to feel better.
best of luck Dylan.

In my test: if you go to the x while traveling through the product image, you get taken to the product page. if you enter the x, without touching the image of the product you can remove the product.
A second issue is that if you go from the x to the image of the product, there is a small portion that will remove the product instead of going to the product page.
A simple onclick function could fix the first issue. Or, even simplier, making the X have a higher z-index than the product image (this worked flawlessly when I tested it on my end). -
I have been using my MF Applicator for over a year and it still looks perfect. I hand wash it.
-
Will work for detail spray...just saying
-
The only dusting I notice is in the applicator if not cleaned thoroughly enough. While using Americana, it is fine. Is the dust from the pad?

since black pearl is a coating, I will have to make the assumption nothing will stick to them as well. Just to make sure I understand correctly, are you trying to put tire shine on top of black pearl?

I find it easier to do when its wet, but dry is fine as well.
Sounds good - I will try it wet next time.
-
Sun exposure for prolonged periods can cause foam to fade or become brittle.
In the video you mention using a hair brush while the wash pad is still wet. Any reason why to do it wet vs. dry? I have always done this when dry.
-
Like the others have said, if you like your current product I'm sure you'll love TID. Its an awesome interior care product.
On the coating - we're working on an exterior coating, but nothing finalized as of now (if thats what you mean)
Shhh, shhh.....take my pre-order now.

With the amount of new items, tempting...but it seems the Canadian Site has not been updated yet. Might have to wait for the next one. hmmmm

I have been thinking about getting a DSLR for taking pictures. I have 2 digital cameras, one which I use while washing since it is waterproof, but it takes only okay pictures. Another, I use for all the dry photos and it is pretty good but nothing like a DSLR.
Critique My Maintenance Wash Video
in Detailing Write-Ups

Hey folks. I typically take all photos during my details. I decided to try something new, and record the whole thing. What are your guys' thoughts? Is it a good idea, anything you would change about the video?
Video (about 4 minutes long):
https://youtu.be/P4Syu9qv59E
Process followed:
I started by washing the tires first. I used Adams All Purpose Cleaner for the most part. I used a diluted solution since my tires were not bad (recently done).
Once the tires were done I gave the car a rinse, then used a Foam Gun to give the car a nice bath using Adams Car Shampoo. I then rinse this off and put down a little more foam for some extra protection during the wash.
Next, I used a two bucket wash on the vehicle. This was then rinsed off and I left the water on the car so I could use Adams Guard and Gloss. This is super easy to apply and leaves a crazy shine. I got rid of excess water in crevices using a Blaster Sidekick. Since Guard and Gloss was applied, the water flung off in captivating beads.
Next, I used Adams Brilliant Glaze which is super easy to apply. Due to weather, I could take it off almost instantly.
Next was Adams Buttery Wax. Like Brilliant Glaze, a pleasure to apply.
Last step was Adams VRT on the tires.
She is all ready to get dirty again
