  1. very nice, what did you have them coated with?
  2. i believe that PC started producing these in China (or somewhere else) which is why Adam's no longer carries them. Someone else with more knowledge will probably chime in and give you more details.
  3. my process after correction is sealant (I use quick sealant), then a coat of glaze, then top that with americana. It is my DD but detailing is a hobby so I apply a coat of glaze with almost every wash or at a minimum every other wash for that extra pop.
  4. I always keep an extra bottle of waterless and 2 towels in my ride for situations just like this. Worth the $20 up front cost to know that the stuff will not sit there and dry until I get home.
  5. nice improvement. I would say for the casual observer it is not noticeable.
  6. very nice, I love that color. One day I will have a 911.
  7. used the rinse less for the first time today along with the new blue towels. Very nice results. Car had a week worth of DD dirt on it and it cleaned up very nice. I used 2 buckets (one with solution one for rinse) with 2 towels. Worked great. Will continue to do this over the winter months, much nicer washing in the garage vs the cold.
  8. i'm going to have my first attempt at a rinseless this weekend so i'll be sure to post up the feedback.
  9. in photobucket there is a "img" section, copy that link and post it into the reply here on the forum. I hope that makes sense.
  10. same thing happened to me last night to me too.
  11. As Michael said add some APC to the mix to get everything stripped off other than that sounds pretty good. Great looking car BTW. Like it so far? edit, just saw your post over on AZ.
  12. very nice. (side question, what kind of intake is that and do you like it? A fried of mine is looking to get an intake for his SS.)
  13. At this point I have mixed feeling on it. I waited the recommended 48+ hours and did a quick wash then it immediately started raining so I did not get an opportunity to do a full detail and close inspection until this past weekend. To be perfectly honest there are a few issues I need to talk about with the installer and see if it is "normal" or me being ocd... I know it takes a little time for everything to cure and settle but it appears as if there are a few edges that are not properly attached, air pockets here and there, and a few areas on the hood (most visible part) that show signs of stretching/adhesive shift which will drive me nuts. Once I have an opportunity to talk to the installed I will post more feedback.
  14. yep. I have 2 gallons of waterless right now and a container of rinseless. Once the waterless is used up I will probably just use the rinseless as both vs. having two separate products.
  15. I would say if you are going to only get one then I would go with the rinse-less because you can dilute it to waterless ratio.
  16. for the quality of the products and the fact that they just "work" and work well makes the value much higher than the price that you pay.... (although I prefer if you keep the prices the same and don't raise them haha).
  17. mine came in yesterday and i'm planning a detail tomorrow and of course I left the new towels at my office.... fail..... will try them out with my next wash.
  18. to be honest i had no idea they stopped making then in the USA although I'm not surprised. Several years back I worked for one of the suppliers who made the sockets (really cool process by the way) here in NC but the writing was on the wall when I left the company. Upper management was too much about double digit profit growth each year and not about preserving the quality and reputation of the product or the people who worked there. Quite sad. Great place to work when I started awful when I left.
  19. Nice, I live in Mebane but work in Raleigh (Airport area).
  20. OCD (in some level) is pretty much a requirement for us. haha. I got a large bottle and then just order the gallon refills.
