  1. Love the wagon...bad to the bone!
  2. When I ordered some Detail Spray a few years ago, I purchased an order of Detail Spray (gallon-sized) and with the order came a small travel-sized bottle (4 oz). I keep this in my motorcycle bag for quick touch ups. I was wondering if they still make a small spray travel-sized bottle to keep in the car glove box for bird crap, etc. I know I can buy some travel-sized ones at the store, but I just like the looks to show off my Adam's products. If anyone has one of these used I am willing to trade/pay for it. Thanks
  3. Looks great! This may very well be my wife's next ride...nice!
  4. Nice! Love the wagon and what a beast!
  5. I agree on the dilution ratio. I recently ran out of my waterless wash, and mixed up my rinseless, and I actually like this much better and seems slicker than waterless wash. Gallon rinseless ordered...check!
  6. I usually wait 30 minutes, but you are right on humidity. I usually go 2 layers just as a second cover-up and it does add just a little extra gloss with second coat.
  7. Well said. Went out this morning with my family and put flags on Veterans graves. Thank you to all who have served!
  8. Thanks everyone for the compliments. Coming from a long history of owning Camaros, a supercharged G8 GXP (I miss this car) as well as other Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, and Chevrolets (I have family that work at GM powertrain)... I have full respect for the very clean American muscle and other awesome vehicles I see on here!
  9. I had posted a question about just using Liquid Paint Sealant as a stand alone product due to the dust/pollen in my area. I felt bad as my pictures were pretty poor from my cell phone. So, here is my new '14 Audi RS5 with a clay, revive polish, brilliant glaze, and two coats of liquid paint sealant. Not quite as warm as with my Americana, but I feel like it turned out pretty well.
  10. Thanks and just wanted to make sure as the protection should be there. Pics are definitely not quality and do not show the car well. Will probably just maintain with waterless/rinseless wash and detail spray.
  11. Here's a few...sorry for crappy cell phone pics. Not the best shots, but took a few last night when the sun was out, this morning was cloudy though.
  12. I recently did a full strip of my full detail due to some imperfections. After claying, revive polish, I then took the advice of Adam and glazed before I applied the liquid sealant. I am actually pretty pleased with the shine/depth of the liquid sealant! I then applied a second coat to make sure I had all areas covered. I have found that Americana and other carnubas are not only great at providing shine, but also attract a lot of dust. Due to the high amount of dust/pollen in certain areas, does anyone here use the liquid paint sealant as their lsp? I know the carnubas are "warmer" and add more depth to the paint, but really the brilliant glaze topped with the new liquid sealant provided excellent results!
  13. Thanks guys...the joys of owning a black car! But man does it look great when it shines!
  14. Just wondering as I fully detailed this weekend, including wash (with diluted all purpose cleaner), clay, polish, liquid paint sealant, glaze, then Americana. I have a few areas where there are still some noticeable scratches/swirls (very superficial and not deep). If I just go over a few areas with revive polish to try to remove these fine scratches...how far down does this remove the layering? Is it just down to bare clear? Once removed, do I repeat the steps to build back protection or just put a coat of Americana and be done with it? Thanks for any help/suggestions.
  15. I don't think you would want the clay/detail spray to dry in the sun...I would think doing all this in the shade would be best. After claying, I have a microfiber that I wipe down a panel at a time so it doesn't dry, otherwise you might want to do a quick waterless wash spray to remove the clay residue.
  16. I have been using waterless wash (or rinseless diluted) as a drying aid as I tend to use too much detail spray for that reason. I also like the fact that the lubricity of the waterless wash helps prevent scratches if there is some dust/dirt missed with wash. Then a final wipedown with detail spray and seems to look great on my black car. Dark grey (especially metallic) would look great with this method.
  17. My understanding at this point just maintain with waterless/detail spray, and if you get the urge to wax, go ahead and use brilliant glaze instead rather than building up the wax weekly. Glad you are liking Adam's products as they are addicting!
  18. I know this isn't really new, but in a way it would be if auto-makers offer this. What do you guys think? How would this change detailing? Would be interested in your thoughts/ideas about this: https://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/nissan-makes-car-washing-obsolete-with-its-self-cleaning-paint-153041279.html
  19. I agree...less is more. See wayyyyy too many "stickers". I would like to see your current emblem in different colors to match the car or the etched look.
  20. Love the car. I had my GXP for about 2 years before selling. I had Livernois put a blower on, headers, tune, cam, and full exhaust. Love the rumble of yours! Thanks for sharing and enjoy the car because there are not many around!
  21. Why do some prefer the mini? Cost? Size for portability? Looking forward to getting mine. Thanks for the clarification. This is my first Americana purchase and excited to try this over Brilliant Glaze on my phantom black RS5!
