  1. I picked up one of these with the Ultra Foam the other day. Hopefully Adam's will start selling the non--foaming version of the IK to use with rinseless washes and other applications. No offense to the non foaming sprayer above, but it isn't an IK, and costs more.
  2. There is an IK sprayer that looks nearly identical to the foamer. That one in the screen shot above is not it. Hopefully Adam's will start selling the regular IK sprayer. Also, there are larger models available as well.
  3. Went today to pick up the IK sprayer/soap combo! The folks there said that they were planning on an open house in a month and half/two months. They're still getting set up. It's going to be a great place to visit
  4. i have been. it was still under construction when i was there 2 weeks or so ago (tenant finish type stuff). they were still moving in, but were op and running
  5. it doesn't appear Adams sells it, but there is a non foaming sprayer version of this item available
  6. I've tried goo-gone and patience, alcohol, WD40, naptha, and still not had luck on some wheels. I've thought about the eraser wheel, but never pulled the trigger. I certainly don't work in the field of adhesives, but i've not seen stuff as tenacious as this.
  7. they had the actual pack in the store?
  8. looks like it's valid through today only
  9. What about the two people that said they had some?
  10. consider that a 25' hose is pretty short for washing.

  12. i go 5:1 (general 10oz water to 2 oz soap) with warm water. That's enough for a normal passenger car for me. Pick a ratio and adjust according to your desired output
  13. if you have a power washer, check out floor brooms. Ryobi makes an attachment, and there are other kinds on amazon. note that these generally require a decent output on the pressure washer. If you don't have a pressure washer and don't want to go that way, consider one of those wands designed for hanging potted plants--a longer wand with a goose neck on the end. If you ever watch Autoweek on PBS, Pat Goss of Goss' Garage recommends running a sprinkler under the car--for 3 hours. of course, with the clearance of most cars that means you're really running it under the car for much longer than that.
  14. I enjoyed the behind the scenes video from obsessed garage (even though i really can't stand that guy). I don't know how many more behind the scenes vids you can do, but one of your competitors, AMMO NYC, has had some videos on how his products are developed in the vein of "how it's made." That would be interesting. Or "here's why we're changing X......" I know there's a whole image to maintain--i get that--but doing the 30th detail job on a pampered show car doesn't show me too much. Working on average, or at least not supercars--that are actually dirty--that's helpful. Not anal-detailer "that's filthy!" dirty, but actually real-world driving-dirty. For instance, the great winter detailing video on the friend's car in boulder--to 99% of the population, that car was in great shape. Sure, it was a protection video for the winter, but cars that see some use are far more interesting to me. Also, and I just have to say this--consider the color of the cars you're using. For instance, and this goes to showing a fancy vehicle at the expense of good content---there's a foam gun video where a white truck is used. How exactly do you show off foam output on a white truck? But, clearly, in the intro to the video it's even stated--the white truck was chosen because it was a new ford raptor. I wonder if the foam would've shown up more on a dark blue 77 Chevy? don't get me wrong---I love Adam's. I love to come up and visit and pick up the latest stuff and attend clinics. just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents
  15. Your first decision should be electric or gas. Frankly, for creating foam it seems to be a junk-measuring contest. I have a dinky electric ryobi that foams just fine. Or, if you want a high end electric, check out Kranzle. Some will chime in that gas is the only way--but you mention garage space. The small electrics can actually be stored on a shelf, not taking up floor space. If you don't need a power washer for cleaning other things (driveways, fences, decks) the electric should work fine for your application.
  16. Anyone in the know care to weigh in on the relocation? The dates were a little fuzzy when it was discussed at the Open House back in December. Wondering if the move has started
  17. had this happen today--but with a sprinkler. was in the 50s, and the sidewalk became icy. crazy
  18. is there a parking garage in your area you could just park in for 12 hours? while not ideal, you could prep somewhere else, do your final prep at the garage, and coat the car in the garage--and let it cure there
  19. No more pics--but the Adam's folks polished the Corvette's exhaust tips, then pulled the car back in to dry off with H20 Guard and Gloss, as well as applying VRT to the tires and a full black trim restorer treatment to the wiper tray. I had to leave so I didn't get to see the engine detailing segment. All in all, not a bad way to spend some time.
  20. After the wheels were cleaned they broke out the "budget" foam gun with the new Ultra Foam soap. Notice the Adam's employee getting a the foam treatment.
  21. Adam had to leave after 90 minutes of touring and demoing, and answering questions. After that, a wash demo occurred--starting with wheel well cleaning, tire cleaning, and wheel cleaning. A variety of brushes were used, and the C5 had plenty of baked on brake dust in the wheel barrels.
