  1. Agreed. I like the boars hair wheel brush for delicate wheels. I will have to agree with you on this. I have clear coated black wheels on my car. I ended up picking up a Boars Hair wheel brush as it is softer, to avoid the swirls created by the Mothers wheel brush which is nylon. The nylon brush works well on any other wheel such as a chrome or silver painted wheel. I do use the nylon wheel brush to give my tires a good swipe during a wash to keep the tire coating fresh and dirt free until the next application.
  2. Nitrile gloves are your friend. I wear them when using any wheel cleaner as well as safety glasses.
  3. Here you go http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/27647-new-10-x-10-wash-pads/
  4. Did the dealer apply any kind of sealant on the car?
  5. Downloaded it and will listen to it on my daily walk/ break from working at my desk.
  6. Looks good. I was not a fan of their shift boot for my A4 which is now removed. But your shift knob looks good.
  7. Well said. I agree with you that these odor eliminators a are great. As you said these are great even if ones interior is in good shape.
  8. I agree with Dylan. That's a lot of detail spray you are using as a drying aid.
  9. If you are just looking to apply the all in one then use a foam finishing pad. If you want a little correction then go with a foam polishing pad
  10. Exactly this. I have a dedicated bar just for glass.
  11. Looks amazing. Love that red dripping wet look. Great job.
  12. Seal the wheels with some quick sealant for even easier cleaning. Your back will thank you even more.
  13. Yeah it looks like it. If you are not happy with it I will be happy to take if off your hands
  14. I agree. Your co-workers could probably care less. If it was me I would rinseless in the morning. You can even do it when you get home from work if you are super OCD. Just remember the more you touch the paint, there is the chance of swirls. IYou are still a little new and right now you are on a detailing high. In time you will learn. I agree.
  15. I wouldn't use it. I have one that's been collecting dust for years now. It's best to rinseless wash for moderate to heavy dust of it's light dust waterless wash or detail spray. Better to have less work for you when you are correcting.
  16. Exactly this. You will have to move your head at various angles to get the best possible view to see and remove defects. If you think gray is tough try working on white. That's even tougher.
  17. Curious to hear the feedback on the pump when using it with buttery or liquid paint sealant.
  18. I couldn't remember for sure. I know about the tire coating. I use the same one from time to time and like you it lasts 2-3 months.
  19. The wheels look good. I thought you had them coated.
  20. Nice write up. Looking forward to your updates. Application reminds me of DP and Black Label coatings. The block and suede can still be used with spray coatings. Curious as well to hear Dylan's pro's and cons for going the spray delivery method.
  21. I agree with taping them off. You can always do that area by hand using paint correcting and paint finishing polish. A microfiber applicator will give you a little more bite or simply a foam applicator pad.
