  1. I had read and know to do a section at a time when using Americana and wipe/buff off, but I could not find again on the site about the other products. Can you do the entire car with one product before wiping and buffing the product off? Revive. Liquid Sealant. Brilliant Glaze?. I thought I saw posted you could, with the exception of Americana. This will all be done by hand over a couple days. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
  2. Amazon.com $9.90 for 50 Jen 1" foam brushes. Shipped to my door free with prime membership.
  3. By paint prep polish, do you mean like the "Revive" polish? I plan to do everything by hand. Wash, clay, revive, liquid sealant, brilliant glaze, Americana. Just wanted to know about alcohol wipedown after the glaze; needed or recommended and at what mixture %. Thanks.
  4. Is the safest alchohol wipedown a 50/50 mix of distilled water with 70% alcohol? Should it be diluted even more to be on the safe side? The color is ruby red metallic on a 2014 mustang.
  5. If your looking for some hex applicators still, I bought some from here: http://www.detailing.com/store/catalogsearch/result/?order=relevance&dir=asc&q=adam%27s+applicator&x=0&y=0
  6. When doing it by hand, is the blue hex a better option then the microfiber applicator pads? I have those and one blue hex, also just ordered a couple each of the yellow hex and americana hex; which would work best for liquid sealant? Thanks.
  7. Have a new 2014 Mustang that came with polished aluminum wheels that i read are clear coated. I just want to make sure I use the right products from the start. Did a Rinseless Wash last nite on the car and used a Car Shampoo/Water mixture to spray and clean the wheels, followed by some Detail Spray. Question is, I had ordered some Green Wheel, is this okay to use from time to time on these wheels? I was sure I watched and read it was, but just want to make sure. Also to get them their shiniest and protected, do I clean the wheels and then use the "Revive polish" followed by some Quick Sealant? Sorry, I know different versions of this question have been asked before, but just want to make sure what is my best route.
  8. I ordered 2 of them with my gallon order to take advantage of the discounted price. I am going to use it for my Rinseless Wash (waterless) spray and my Detail Spray. I saw online the smaller Kwazar version that was a 360 degree sprayer, those I would like to see eventually if they work as well as shown online.
  9. Does this also apply to doing it all by hand as far as wiping it off (Liquid Sealant) after doing the whole car? Also when you say Americana/paste wax is the only one to wipe off after every panel or so, does that mean other products such as Brilliant Glaze and Revive Polish can be wiped off after doing the entire vehicle or should they be wiped off every panel or so also? Got a little confused after watching so many videos and reading the forums on a bunch of different products.
  10. This was my first time ordering and figured that is how they shipped and was just posting mine for comparison. I figured they probably allowed a little room for expansion when being transported in high altitudes/planes.
  11. Here is mine I just got in the mail a couple of hours ago. Looked a little low, but this was my first order so I was not sure how much they filled them up to begin with.
  12. Thanks everyone for the help and tips. Looks like I might be placing my 3rd order in the past week for a few extra things.
  13. Here is what I plan to do and wanted to know the best option to apply each product. This is a brand new car, but it has not been detailed or cleaned since buying it last week. 1. Rinseless Wash (Use bordeless blue to wash, double soft to dry? or just double soft for wash n dry?) 2. Detail Spray (Which towel?) Now when it's time to wax and detail: All by hand. 1. Full Wash with Car Shampoo and a little All Purpose Cleaner. 2. Clay with Detailer Spray 3. Revive (with Blue Hex?) 4. Liquid Sealant (Blue microfiber pad? Or should I use Blue Hex?) Which polishing towel? 5. Brilliant Glaze (Same as Liquid Sealant?) 6. Americana (applicator it come with, which towel to polish with afterwards, Supersoft?) Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get an idea of the best option for each application. Have watched most of the videos, just trying to hear back from the easiest and best method to this madness. Lastly, when receiving the "new" towels in the mail, should they be washed initially before using them for the first time? Thanks again for everyone's help.
  14. Sorry to hi-jack thread too, but simple question on Liquid Sealant by hand; which is the best applicator to use? Microfiber pad or the blue hex foam pad? Just want to start off on the best option. Thanks
  15. Thanks GerryC for the help. I have a question on the sealant. If I were to lay a base of Liquid Paint Sealant down first which you say would last around 4-6 months, maybe then Brillant Glaze and then a layer of either Buttery Wax (4weeks) or Americana (2months); when it comes time to apply another coat of wax in a month or two, could it be applied on top of the sealant that was first applied or would it have to also be redone at that time as well? Was not quite sure if wax build up would occur or if it would be okay to just apply another coat of wax. I had also seen somewhere that people said the Brilliant Glaze should be used in between. Thanks again.
  16. This is my first post, been lurking and learning but instead of started a new thread, could I ask a similiar additional question being that is almost the same as shrktank. I have a brand new 2014 Mustang that is Ruby Red Metalic, we have had the car less than a week now. I have ordered Rinseless wash and Detailer's Spray to keep it clean on the outside. It will be mostly garaged, but living in California in the Central Valley, when it is outside, it will be pretty hot in the summer. If I clay it with Detaliler's Spray, could I get by with just a coat of Buttery Wax? Or would I need the liquid paint sealant first, then Buttery Wax or Americana or could I just keep it simple and go with the Clay followed by Buttery Wax? Thanks and I hope I did not cause any problems jumping into someone's thread and asking questions.
