I did the detail yesterday and applied the UV Ceramic Spray Coating. Today I applied the Ceramic Boost. When I backed it out into the sunlight I noticed some streaking on the hood. It was not there yesterday when it only had the actual ceramic applied. I tried to apply a little more boost to see if that would blend it in and it actually look worst now. Any Ideas? I may simply use the buffer and buffer the hood and reapply the ceramic the boost. Not what I want to do but if that is the only out I guess That is what I will have to do.

The last two were pictures I took some time back just after a standard detail use the standard Adams products, not the new Ceramic.

I finished today doing the complete detail and applied the UV Spray Ceramic Coating. This was the first time I used the new Swirl killer with the One Step pad and I must say I was really impressed. Everything went as planned. Strip wax wash and dry. Followed by claying with the Adams Mitt. Then the One Step Polish with the new Swirl Killer and One Step Pad. After I finished polishing and removing the polish I backed the car out of the garage to see it in the direct sun. If I missed any swirls or scratches this would show them. I noticed two areas right by the rear spoiler so I hit them with a little more polish and the buffer and they were gone. Next I wiped the car and glass areas down with the prep. waited about 10 minutes and started applying the ceramic. Did not take to long give it a minute or two for each panel to rainbow before removing it. That is one of the easiest steps in the whole process besides the ceramic prep. Tomorrow I will apply the boost although I did read somewhere that this product can be applied up to 3 coats. Not sure if that means on top of each other or over a certain amount of time. I just want everyone to know at least in my case the shine while it is great is no different then what I always had with the standard Adams products. I am think what I did accomplish is a longer lasting shine and better protection then that of the Adams Americana or Patriot wax. Not sure that was a good test. I have read where you can use that as well as even wax on top of the ceramic. I would not wax the car then use the ceramic. Also why not simply ust the Ceramic Waterless to touch up the areas needing it after the wash?

Well I am in Florida and it was about 80 when I was doing using it. My latest purchase will be here today so I will have new WW towels and I will see how this does. Thanks for the replies

Ok I am expecting a shipment tomorrow and in it is the 32OZ bottle of the Microfiber Revitalizer, along with a 6 pack of the waterless wash towels and a Mini Drying towel. I normal have never washed new towels but I read some members do recommend it. SO my question is, I read where the revitalizer can be used (a few ounces) was solution. Does that mean that I all that is needed or is that to be added to the normal wash solution of detergent?

Thanks I will update if the new towels made a difference. Also I was wondering why is it that the buffing needs to be with another waterless waffle towel. Wouldn't a single or double soft towel work just as well?

I am using the ceramic waterless wash on the wife's Equinox that I just recently coated with the ceramic spray. I just can't get it to stop streaking. I do it in the shade or garage and one panel at a time. I do it just like the product video shows wipe in one direction. But after the car is completely finished I see streaks. I am using the older blue waterless wash towels and was thinking they just are not soaking up the product. I don't overly soak the area just a mist that cover the area. The only way to get the streaks to buff out is to really apply pressure. Should I go back with the fresh towel after each panel? I do have an order on its way and in it is a 6 pack of the new towels. Also I ordered the large refill of the wash originally and thought I also order a 10oz bottle. I did not so I simply am using a larger non Adams spray bottle. Could it be dispensing more product then the standard Adams bottle?

When I did the wife's car I sprayed it onto the blue microfiber pad and then applied it to the car. As you say by spraying directly to the car as you would do with the ceramic wash seems to one induce high and low spots plus it seem like you would waste a lot of the product.

Ok, I finally found out that the Ceramic Spray UV is the exact same formula as the new Ceramic Spray. Only difference is on has the UV tracer and other does not. I also now believe that the original Ceramic Spray Coating kit that came with the Prep, Coating and Boost is most likely the same except that it did not have the longer last properties of the newer versions. So I happened to watch a video with Adam applying the Ceramic Spray Coating and he even applied it to the glass areas and the plastic trim. I did not see that when I order the kit originally so I assume I can use it (UV version) the same way as he did in the video.

Thanks for all the replies, but after some research I have my answer or at least what my real concerns were. The real issue was, what was the difference in the UV compared to the new ceramic spray. None I found out, except for the UV properties. Also the CS3 is designed to be used on both coated and non-coated vehicles, so I will simply continue with my regiment. I used the Ceramic Waterless in-between washes with the Wash & Coat and use the Boost about every 2-3 washes. I don't see the need for the CS3. The one issue I would like to see Adams consider is to repackage the new ceramic spray in a bottle more consistent with the all the other ceramic products. As it is now, it seems like it would be easily confused with Detail Spray or the Spray Wax, if you are in a hurry and grab without looking closely.

I asked a question about the seemingly flow of new Ceramic spray products and while I did get replies I am still lost because no one was able to help and many agreed they had the same question. Now don't get me wrong I have been an Adams user since almost his very beginning when he was in California. That was back in the days of Revive Polish, Buttery Wax Detail Spray and All Purpose Cleaner and of course the Plush Blue microfiber towels. So here is my dilemma, I have always been a wash, clay, polish and wax type of guy. When the ceramic craze started I looked at it as a lazy mans why to keep his ride looking good, so I stuck with my tries and true method. Then I happened to noticed that Adam had the spray ceramic that looked like a great product for the wife's SUV, but I was not planning on doing my Corvette with it. So I ordered the Ceramic Kit for $100 that came with the Prep, Coating and Boost. I first tried it on my son's (Adam user also) brand new Silverado Z71 4x4. I was really impressed and then I found the time to do the complete strip wash, clay, one step polish and then the prep, and finished with the spray coating. Next because I was so impressed I decided in the nest few weeks I will do my car, so I decided to order some of the maintenance products which I did. Two bottles of the Wash & Coat, 64 oz. bottle of the Ceramic Waterless, and a bottle of Boost. After buying all this, I happen to see on a Facebook post from Adams the new CS3, so I went to the site to see just exactly what it was only to find out he now offers a new Spray Ceramic Coating also. Now here is my real question. I have the original Ceramic Spray Coating, the UV Ceramic Spray Coating and now with this new Ceramic Spray Coating I am trying to find out what are the differences, should I stop using the original and forgo the UV and jump to the new Spray coating. Or can I simply continue to use the original until it is used up and then use the UV and final switch over to the new spray coating? I final figured out that the CS3 is not something that is required fir my cars as I have the Ceramic Waterless and the boost., it is just the three different ceramic spray products that I am trying yo get straight. Finally with the UV is the UV light required, as I did not order one. Sorry for being so long winded

Ok, I guess I can settle for that. So I will stick to what I stick with using the Ceramic Waterless product for a quick cleanup and the boost after a few washes with the Wash & Coat. I still would like to know if the New Ceramic Spray is the same that was sold in the Ceramic Kit that came with Surface Prep and Boost. Like I mentioned I just received a shipment tp add to my original order that was the Kit, that now is no longer around. In this shipment I order the Wash & Coat, the 64 oz Ceramic Waterless wash and a bottle of the UV Ceramic Spray Coating. So all told I have spent around $200 to find out in just over a week, there is a better Waterless wash and a (possibly)new Ceramic Spray Coating. I sure would like to know if the new sray is any different then the one that was in the original kit, or any better then the UV spray. I just hate to spend more money and then find out that there is a new product out.

If the CS3 is a waterless wash, then what is the other ceramic waterless wash? I mean it is just starting to get confusing. Then you have the Ceramic Spray Coating UV and now it looks like there ia n ew just Ceraminc Spray. Is it the same as the older Ceramic Spray Coating that was sold in the kit?

It is getting confusing and I am not sure what I am to use. I realize I can continue to use what I have, it is just I am one of those that has to have the latest and greatest. At least Adam does call everything ne, not new and improved. Whenever I see that, "New and Improved" I say to myself what was I using before , "Old and Junky". Maybe one of the Adams people will see this and answer these questions.

I have the new Spray Coating. I believe the only difference in this and the original Ceramic Spray Coating is the UV element.

Ok, just to get your attention, but I will admit, it seems like every time I stock up on products a new one hits the market. This time it is the CS3. While I will admit after watching the video I am a little confused. Is this to be used on non-ceramic coated or on ceramic coated vehicles or better yet on either. It sounds like a waterless style wash/detail spray/ceramic coating. I just received my latest shipment and in it was the 64 oz. ceramic waterless. Is this new product a step above the ceramic waterless?

I did not think it was a good idea to use to different types of products, but RayS said he does sometimes after the Ceramic Waterless to add a little more pop.

So you can apply BG over a ceramic coat. I always thought you never mixed the standard products with the ceramic products. I thought that was the reason for the strip wash.

I did the Ceramic Spry Coating on the wife's car a little over a week ago and I received my order of the Waterless wash for the ceramic along with other ceramic products. It has been cold here in the Tampa Bar area (low 30's high 50's) I would assume that I should wait for the temp to reach mid 60'd at least before using the waterless wash with the 10% ceramic in it.

I will give you my opinion on the wax v. Ceramic. I have been an Adams customer for years. Started when he only had the Revive Polish and Buttery Wax, I have made the progression from there to Ceramic. I have been a strong conventional products ever since the Ceramic fade started. I even went as far as to say the Ceramic coating is a lazy mans product. I always like to spent that time doing all the step in getting the show car finish with the clay, polish, glaze and then wax. I have used the Americana and loved it. Moved up to the Patriot and found it was the one step above the Americana. I have had people ask me who did the ceramic coating on my Vette, and they would not believe me when I told them it was just the old fashion wax. Well, I decided to venture into the ceramic world for the wife's car. It is not what many consider a daily driver seeing we are both retired and both her car (2018 Equinox) and my car are garage kept, but it sees a lot more driving then the Vette, so I decided to try the Ceramic Sprat Coating. I always said that for the deep wet look you cannot beat a nicely waxed paint finish. well I have decide that after seeing her car coated, I have decide to do the Corvette. Here is her car after the ceramic coating and mine after Patriot wax. The finish on the Equinox is as good as the Patriot wax on the Corvette. So it comes down to you and what you want to use. It seems to me that the ceramic is going to be easier to maintain and I have also noticed that while dust in the air will settle on both cars, the ceramic never looks as dirty as the waxed finish and it seems to blow off almost completely after driving while the wax finish does not.

I am changing both vehicles to Ceramic Spray Coating and just received a shipment of the waterless wash, wash & coat and boost. I have 8-10 blue waffle waterless wash towels. Can they be used instead of the once that are shown for the ceramic waterless wash? Also I saw in the video and instructions for the wash & coat that they recommend a mist of the waterless to help drying, while I also used detail spray and I was thinking I would use the boost.

OK, so I have done the wife's car with the Ceramic Spray and now it needs to at least get the dust off. I have the waterless, wash & coat and more boost already ordered, but it will not be delivered until Wednesday. So is ok to wash the car with Adams shampoo or even just the standard waterless wash? If I do that should I finish up with the ceramic boost?

I have been a strong believer in the old tried and proven detailing method of wash, clay, polish, glaze then wax and used different products to keep the shine show ready. Well I maybe changed that after doing a Ceramic Spray Coating on the wife's car. I placed an order for more ceramic boost, the ceramic waterless. the Wash & Coat as well as a second bottle of the UV Spray Coating. I am really thinking of doing my Corvette with the ceramic.

So I believe that I figured this out a little. First the Ceramic Kit I purchased is still available. It has the prep, the spray coating and the boost. If I remember correctly I read that the spray coating has a life of about 6 months if maintained properly. It looks like this new spray is good for about 10-12 months. I also noticed that the Ceramic Spray Coating that came in the kit is not available as a stand alone product that can be ordered. No problem with that as it appears that this new spray is maintained with the same products that would be used on the original spray coating. I wonder as it says it can be used on top of the existing coating, so I would think that means I can layer it on top of the newly applied Ceramic Spray Coating I just applied yesterday and applied the Boost today. Am I on the right track with this?
