  1. I like to buy stuff in bulk. I'd rather buy once and have it for years. I am just finishing up the 5-gal unit I bought about 4 years ago.
  2. In the video, Adam is using double-soft towels.... Would it be okay to use the waffle weave towels that I have for Waterless washing? I have about 10 of them so I could use the method where I use the towel once and discard for a clean one.
  3. I don't see them on the website... are they still available?
  4. Gotcha! Ok... well, looks like I'll be ordering a new bucket and some more rinse-less!
  5. Oh jeez...rock!?!?!? NO WAY! But I DO like your idea to use the older clay on wheels and exhaust tips. Though, lately, all my exhaust tips have been carbon fiber! lol! ; )
  6. I'll take a pic. But I would say I'm super conservative when it comes to using 'once-used' clay. So as soon as there is dirt showing where i can see it from ~1 foot away from my face, that's done being used for my paint.
  7. Nice! Oh, I'm ALLLL about spending money on hobbies that don't involve sitting in front a TV with a controller in hand... and one that doesn't hurt anyone. I was just curious how much hobbyists spend on this stuff for their own PERSONAL use. I'm at around $500 over the last 3 months...which doesn't include ANY polishing products or machines. They will come closer to Spring...if I can't find someone to do it for me. lol.
  8. Since glass cannot be easily scratched... can I safely use a 'shot-for-paint' piece of clay for my glass claying duties?
  9. Is one better than the other? And why? In reading posts here, I get the sense that rinse-less is considered 'safer'....?? Am I reading that correctly? If yes, why? It's pretty much the same concept. Except one way you spray the product onto the car...vs...the product being on the towel.
  10. PLEASE!!!!........ Demand that customer remove that bra and take off those 12" wheels! Otherwise...that paint looks GREAT!
  11. I don't have a truck, but I agree... Adams needs to come out this. I'd buy it right away. And I also would vote for a wash MIT. I find I'm always concerned about dropping the wash pad.
  12. Nice! Loving the Chimaera! Add a side of Slipknot...Slayer....Lamb of God...Pantera....Shadows Fall....Skrillex and deadmau5.
  13. Oh I don't do it to impress anyone but myself. But I can see what you're saying. Yes, I applied LPS two weeks ago. I am planning on adding a 2nd coat soon.
  14. How is Rinseless safer? Isn't it pretty much the same idea? One way the towel has the product and the other way the product is sprayed in the surface being cleaned.
  15. Lol! I love it! I appreciate what you're saying. And I get it. The duster is just super easy to use when I'm running out the door in my suit and can't stand looking at the dust over my hood. I'd rather fix the swirls later when I have time... Or pay someone to fix them. And NO... The water blade is where I draw the line!! Lol.
  16. Ok, ok... I hear you guys! I KNEW this would be the response. Lol. I know how to stir the pot, don't i!! But here's the challenge... I am in a suit a lot of the time during the week going to meetings. I can't be waterless washing or detail spraying in my suit... ESPECIALLY in the summer. I sweat in the shower! Lol I'll keep using... But only in a pinch.
  17. Liquid Paint Sealant seems to be missing from the online store. .???
  18. VERY strange. The site seems to be missing things. LPS is one of them.
  19. Nice! I like your thought process! The more I dust, the more paint correcting I'll need to do! Lol. ; )
  20. Okay guys.... I am sure there will be some passionate opinions here. I personally have been using one for years. Nothing drives me crazier than a clean car with a layer of dust on it. ESPECIALLY if I have to look over a layer of dust on my hood. Drives me INSANE. So, I am sure the CA duster introduces some level of damage to the finish. But for me, it's TOTALLY worth it. When I do use it, I do my best to be as light as possible with it. And historically I keep a nice coat of detail spray (now LSP, plus DS) that the CA duster glides over the surface smoothly and easily removes the dust. So, I was just dusting my M5 (yes after 12am here) and wondered what others here thought about it. Discuss.......
  21. I haven't yet done any correcting.... But after applying LPS, I noticed how it was a bit difficult to see the product against the Space Gray color of the M. Is Gray a color that's a bit harder to work simply because the color 'hides' your work? I can see that being a challenge to paint correcting. Any tips or tricks on working with gray?
