  1. Dude! I'd LOVE to have correct my cars!
  2. I know the 2-bucket 'traditional' is the safest wash process. But I've come to truly enjoy the waterless wash SOOO much more. I've always thought of the traditional wash as a chore. Whereas I look forward to doing the waterless wash. Of course if the car gets real dirty I break out the hose and bucket. Begrudgingly of course! Lol.
  3. Gotcha... I just assumed pre-soak could really just be applied to ANY wash process to help.
  4. Agreed.... Now if I could just get some decals in my orders I'd be thrilled to advertise for Adams as well!
  5. I pre-soak the front end, rear end and the lower parts of the side panels. So basically the only things I DONT pre-soak are the roof, hood and upper areas. But I mostly do waterless washes so I feel the pre-soak is the least I can do to ensure minimal damage.
  6. Thanks all! It was Super Easy! I didn't clay the car as I didn't have that amount of time. I did do a winter bucket wash yesterday, but drove about 30-40 miles last night and therefore had to do a waterless wash before I applied LSP. The hardest part was seeing where I already applied the LSP. My car is gray in color and I feel like that made it very difficult to see the LSP on the paint.
  7. Also...does cold temp (35-40 F) adversely affect the process?
  8. Just as the title says... Going to take advantage of the break in weather tomorrow and apply Liquid Paint Sealent for the first time EVER. I've never applied was or glaze or sealent EVER in my life. I'm going to apply by hand with the red hex applicator. So, my question.... I'm looking for ANY TIPS and/or TRICKS I should be aware of. Quick responses are appreciated. Thanks guys!
  9. Including the 5 gallon containers they sell?
  10. I'm specifically asking how much folks are spending for PERSONAL use. For Pro Detailers... It's just one cost of doing business. So I don't find that to be anything but 'business'. I'm more just curious as to much some people spend on this as a HOBBY.
  11. Nope... Just curious. We don't have any issue with spending money on hobbies. For as much as we work, we easily justify it ALL. Lol Currently researching a new toy to blow off some steam built up from work. Z06 or 911 Turbo or 911 GT3. ; )
  12. When can we get some more instructional videos? I'd like to see one on the new tire shine with the wheels/tires on the car and spraying with the sprayers that comes with the bottle (i.e.- it doesn't spray in a mist.) And I just really enjoy the videos by Adam and DVK. Both have good 'presence'.
  13. Zappo's is pretty darn awesome! I haven't been an Adam's customer as long as I've been shopping at Zappo's... but the President wrote a book than MANY companies view as the 'bible for customer service'. And Amazon has great customer service as well. BUT... both of those companies don't have the same customer intimacy because of their size in comparison to Adam's. So your point is well taken.
  14. So...that deal on the Green Wheel Cleaner (which I don't even use!) got me to place another order. And because I don't like paying for shipping, I made sure to order other stuff to make it to the $150 mark to qualify for free shipping! Well, I got to $155 and then applied the 10% coupon code... Brought my total down to $140. I was VERY pleased to see Adams still applies the free shipping! Now that's just smart business! Adam, as long as you run this business in this 'fair' way, you've got a customer for life in me. Thanks!
  15. So, I just placed another order... In looking at my order history, I'm at almost $500 in less than 3 months. Lol Keep in mind... I haven't purchased any machines, or polish or wax! Man, this stiff is addicting. Lol Curious... What do others spend on Adams for their own personal use?
  16. 50 degrees!!! Oh way to rub it in!! It was 25 here today. Fun...
  17. Oh man... Don't worry, I am conceited and arrogant enough...I don't feel stupid. BUT... I appreciate your concern. ; ) I really appreciate everyone's input. It's enough to make me re-think how I will wash my daily driver during the winter months. Thanks again all!
