  2. I always try new products in 16oz variants and then decide if I need to buy in gallons. Like others have stated...there are many products that don't get used every wash...for example- Upholstry cleaner, Leather cleaner & Leather conditioner, Liquid paint sealant, etc... On the other hand...there are things that get used ALL the time... And I think that comes down to your specific routine. For me, I use A TON of Rinseless Wash and Detail Spray. I also use a good deal of Glass Cleaner, Waterless Wash, Microfiber cleaner and Tire Shine. So I buy them all by the gallon. And I just tested H20 G&G via a 16oz and was very pleased...so I just ordered a gallon of it with my last order.
  3. Yeah, it was purpose-built and dialed in for sure! Took a while to get it there though. Here she is in street form. I had a full track wheel/tire set up.
  4. Yeah... Going fast is not cheap!! But it sure is a TON of fun! I see you have a 4th gen F body. I had a 99 Z28 doing consistent high 10's n/a back in 2000-2002. Fun cars! 9-sec is moving!!
  5. Oh how true this is.... Lol
  6. Oh Robert... I didn't intend for the question to get this 'deep'. Lol. Again... Just curious as to what folks spend on this hobby. Nothing more.... Not intending to judge in ANY way. We all have budgets and various interests where we spend our discretionary income. Some people think I'm crazy for my hobbies of watch collecting, or high-end audio and HT equipment...or my bespoke wardrobe. Or my good friend who collects sports cards. Etc... So...while I'm rather new to this hobby and quite the novice I'm fascinated by how far / to what degree one can take it. And at the same time appreciate those who keep it rather modest just as I do. I look at TheWolf's investment of time, resources and money. And in no way judging... I find it 'awesome' in the true sense of the word. I can always appreciate when someone has passion for (fill in the blank) and takes it to the next level. And looking at the 'spend' is just the easiest way to put an actual number to it, that's all.
  7. I WISH I could think this way. I can't get myself to use less product. I always used too much!
  8. Thanks bud. I think I actually knew that....but did it anyway! LOL
  9. Holy crap! Is detailing a hobby? Or do you maintain the 6 cars for some other purpose? That's a good bit of money on Adams products! You've got to be one of their larger accounts, no? Not judging...I think it's great!
  10. I was just curious... I'm fascinated by trends/data points. Maybe I'm more just curious. As I expected the spend runs the gamut. And yes, @TheWolf... Detailing is by far my least costly hobby! Which makes it that much more accessible. I just began preparing for non-competitive club racing (hence the GT3 purchase) and holy ****. I drag raced in bracket racing when i was younger and I thought THAT was expensive! But oh well....a man has to have an outlet/hobbies and if you want to play...you got to pay!
  11. I just noticed how Adams new website keeps track of our profile and our past orders. So, I was curious and added up all my orders starting from last November 27th, 2014. My total over 14 separate orders is $992... Plus the $218 order I just placed for the Labor Day sale.. Bringing my grand total to $1,210, from 15 orders, in approx 10 months time. That's an average of $121 per month...or... $80.67 per order. Curious... What does YOUR order history look like? Dan...(Wolf)... I'm not good at math and don't have a calculator that goes that high so please keep that in mind when sharing your results! Lol. ; )
  12. Love to see more pics Dan! Thanks bud!
  13. Thanks Dan. Air King is exactly the brand I was looking at. I like how you mounted yours. Does it slide out from the wall to in front of the garage bay opening? Then slide back when not in use? I really like the idea of being able to use it for exhaust as well! As always Dan, nicely done!
  14. Also...I'm I'm the process of having my contractor install a in wall heater next to the hose bib. And had him insulate the door. This way I can leave all my stuff in there without it freezing. I think I'll also add a high power fan for the summer.
  15. Just a few pics of where the garage is currently. Been making small changes as I work in there more often and see what works better.
  16. Yeah...I have some small blue ones...some medium white waffles and some big blue ones. As I think about it...it might be easier to use the MF apps to apply it. Hmmm....?... I'll give it a rye next time.
  17. A single soft towel. Why do you ask? Suggestion.....?
  18. Class Act, Adam. Honesty will net you more customers... Mistakes WILL happen in EVERY business. It's how the business responds that determines how their customers respond.
  19. TheWolf is just a sick, sick man. I heard from Detailers Anonymous that he actually DRANK an entire 5-gallon container of Detail Spray and it reacted with his cells in a way that no one could imagine!! The theory on the street is that his blood is actually 50% Adams original Car Shampoo due to all the shampoooooimg that he's done in the last year alone! Additionally...he didn't wear gloves for years...so much of the products had soaked into his body and formed a new strand of DNA that makes it so he doesn't require sleep. Thereby giving him more time to detail everything he owns. Some even say the natural oils from his skin is even superior to Patriot wax! And have you seen his Adams shrine? I've been told by the FBI team that keeps tabs on him that he prays to it twice daily. The Feds are concerned he's starting an Adams Cult... Stockpiling so much detailing product that it would take an army to stop!
  20. Sense of humor is critical to keeping some form of sanity...!
  21. I had tried the wet application a couple weeks ago. Absolutely HATED the product. BUT... Many here encouraged me to try again...and so I tried it again today via the dry method, and............. .......I LOVE IT..!!!!!!!!!! Super easy to apply....and damn...the slickness it leaves is awesome! Thanks a ton for providing the guidance guys!
  22. Still think mine is the best. It's current and provocative. ; )
  23. Why the master blaster? To get it to dry faster? I'd LOVE to be able to get the result Adam demonstrated in his initial video where he introduced the product wnd sprayed it directly on the tire, let it dry and then leveled it out...and man it was nice and glossy! Yum!
