  2. Hmmmm.... On glass you say...??..... I may have to give that a try.... Thanks bud!
  3. Was in the garage til midnight... Put a coat of Brilliant Glaze on. Quite possibly my new favorite product since I can apply it all the time! Lol
  4. That's great to be able to get a shed up for the non-automotive stuff! Good luck. Start up a thread and start posting pics. Others may have ideas for your situation as well.
  5. PLEASE do! And please post pics!...so I too can look for other good ideas! LOL.
  6. You know...... I had gotten them a little while ago and wasn't sure what I would use them on. The buckets were aaa PERFECT spot!
  7. Thanks Dan! But I can't take full credit for it. My contractor and I collectively came up with it. The metal shroud is certainly strong enough and it gets the light where I want it. Thanks again!
  8. Put up another shelf, primarily for oil. Put a piece of plastic on the wall to protect from the seat wheels. It will be painted to match the wall. Also...purchased all new matching 5-gallon buckets and delegated the lowes and HD buckets to 'other'. Got pretty much everything labeled as well.
  9. Added ANOTHER ligtht! Lol. So now I have a total quantity of (18) 4' long, 32 watt, 6500k T8 bulbs in my 19' x11' single car garage. And it's PERFECT!
  10. You are a sick, sick man, my friend. LOL. ; ) Love that cart!

    New tool!

Thought I'd share one of my new favs!
  13. Actually, in the enterprise software business, we ABSOLUTLEY do our best to make sure our customers know / hear from / meet with / etc...the R&D leadership. Now I realize this is drastically different than automotive detailing products... But just thought I'd add to this thread. : )
  14. ok... i guess I'm buying more towels...
  15. Thanks guys! I just hate 'wasting'. Maybe I need to buy more towels...?
  16. Hey guys... Scenario.... You apply Brillant Glaze to your hood, ONLY. You use a newly cleaned towel to remove residual. So, the towel doesn't have any visible dirt, grime or residue from the BG. What do you do with it? Straight to the hamper? Or, Reuse? If so, where/how do you store? Same as where the clean ones are.?...or a designated 'dirty bin'? Does your answer change if its not BG, but instead Detail Spray?
  17. I think part of why it takes me long is I am always rushing around and crazy busy for work... When I'm washing my car I like to relax and enjoy it.
  18. Hey guys... Couple things... Yeah, unfortunately I was washing in DIRECT sun as it was setting. Though, I will say...the sun was behind the trees when I was applying HGG. But I understand it had already heated up the paint surface before setting. And I did check that the nozzle was on the wide/mist setting. I'll take your guys ideas and give them a try. Thanks a bunch all!!
  19. A true leader (Adam / CEO) does everything in their power to enable and help the members of their team grow, even if that means losing them at some point.
  20. I gave it a try today for the first time. The problem seemed to be two-fold: 1. The sprayer didn't provide a 'fine mist'. So I was getting large drops. 2. The car drys too quickly... So I end up spraying more than a 'fine mist' (as the instructions state) and then if it gets on a dry surface, it makes it a REAL PITA to get off the smudges of product remnants. I DO like the process and the concept...and the gloss is quite nice. But, it ended up taking more time than it was worth. Did I do something incorrectly?
  21. Jeez! One hour?!?!? Does that include set up and clean up? I can't do a wash in less than 2...! More common is 3+.
  22. I always pre-soak in a bucket with APC. I will also pre-treat heavy soiled spots with MFR before putting into the pre-soak bucket. Then, I wash all my towels together. This method seems to be working for the last 12 months.
  23. Yuck! If the sun isn't up, I'm not up! Lol Though... I WISH, I could get by without ANY sleep. Can't be productive while sleeping. But, need to be well-rested to be effective!
  24. Feeling ya bud. I turned my ex wife's office into my gym.
