  1. I have used Leather Conditioner on 1960's and 1970's vinyl seats on a few of my friends vehicles without any issue of it coming off on clothes by following this process: 1. Make certain seats or vinyl trim material is clean and dry. 2. Apply Leather Conditioner in moderation using the Adam's Interior Dressing applicator. Rub a light coating onto the surfaces thoroughly. See the video on the Adam's site about Leather Conditioner for assistance. 3. Allow to sit for a few minutes to ensure uniform coverage, and then buff vinyl seat material with Microfiber towel to remove and excess which may not have been absorbed into the material.
  2. Looks great! Did you apply Leather Conditioner after cleaning it?
  3. Gallon rinseless wash and dilution bottles ordered.........and maybe pressurized spray bottle and another double soft towel. Hello, my name is Dalton and I have an Adam's addiction. Dalton, beautiful car, sorry about the loss of your father-in-law, and with the advice given here by the others you should be well on your way to cleaning it, and keeping it pristine once you have it finished. Great collection of Adam's products, and a possible lower cost alternative to the Master Blaster could possibly be the Master Blaster Sidekick, a smaller hand held version, which does a great job of getting the water from the "cracks, crevices, nooks and crannies" of vehicles. Takes a little bit more time to complete a whole car, but works just as well if time isn't an issue. By the way, most of the members on this forum have the same addiction! Welcome to the family!
  4. I would also agree that I have used mine somewhere between 50 to 70 times, without issue. Also gave a couple to other people in my family, and both of them use the wedge at least once a week and no issues reported either.
  5. Welcome Alex! Nice cars, and a real nice start to Adam's products!
  6. Rich, car looks great! Here's to good weather and good times at Carlisle! Unfortunately for me, it is a bit of a drive to get there, and work somehow managed to get in the way time wise. Be sure to get some photos to post once the event is over!
  7. Welcome Geff, both cars look great! A lot of good people and information here.
  8. Product Development? Why do you think it is called Adam's Premium Car Care? Be sure to read the "Story of Adam's" on the website home page, and realize the team that is assembled supports the original founding member.
  9. Welcome Bob, from another Michigander. If your user name also contains your city and not county, probably not too far away. You have found the right products from the right company to make that red Sierrra look amazing! A lot of good people and information here, and be sure to check out the Adam's videos for more information on products and processes.
  10. Carl, Chris gave you the "what to expect" for your Corvette, but I would like to add that if you follow the following steps using ADAM'S products, you will be amazed by your car! Either do a strip wash, or clay again, and if the paint isn't swirled or scratched, polish with Adam's Finishing Polish and a white foam pad. If it is swirled or scratched, you would have to start with Adam's Paint Correcting Polish and the appropriate pads. Once polished, apply a coat of Adam's Liquid Paint Sealant as this is your daily driver, and the sealant offers the longest lasting protection. Now to really add to the shine, luster, or POP, you can then apply Adam's Americana or Patriot Wax, your choice, both are great products. If you ever feel the need to "refresh" the shine or POP, for a car show, etc. all you would have to do once it was washed, is apply a coating of Adam's Brilliant Glaze, and be ready to collect your prize. This is the process I follow on my BLACK C6, and the photo below should speak for this technique.
  11. Welcome Carl, there is a lot of information and good people here to assist you in keeping your C6 daily driver looking pristine! Be sure to check out the Adam's videos for information related to products and processes to use them.
  12. Welcome Rick, Adam's has a lot of great products in addition to H2O Gloss & Guard. Post some pictures of your car.
  13. Welcome Mike. Nice reflections in that shine! A lot of good people and information here, and be sure to check out the Adam's videos if any questions about products or processes arise.
  14. Agreed that Dylan will be missed here for all his contributions, but here is wishing best of everything moving forward. A part of the Adam's team, but I am sure that the rest of the team, like all those that are successful, will pull together to continue the tradition of great products that are easy to use, and provide spectacular results. Best wishes to all going forward, for more success in all endeavors.
  15. Chris, Joseph pretty much nailed it with advice related to pads and polishes. Microfiber will correct more easily than foam, but foam finishes down better. Typically, I use microfiber with Paint Correcting Polish, until I get desired correction results, and finish with white foam and Paint Finishing Polish. Also, as Jason stated, darker colors tend to require both, as defects typically are more readily seen.
  16. Welcome Steve! I saw and replied to your post about Adam's and Furman's on the Corvette forum. There is a lot of great information and people here, and be sure to check out the Adam's videos for product and process information to keep your car pristine!
  17. Awesome video! Lots of great cars there in Reno. I remember going in 2002 thru 2004, knowing nothing about the event prior to going to the Reno area, as I was in the area for work. Stayed at the Atlantis, and was able to hang out after getting finished with work. Originally went with people from the NATC facility in Sparks, and I always considered that an added benefit to going to the desert area in August.
  18. Welcome Terry. A couple of nice looking white Chevrolets there! Lighter colors are easier to maintain than dark. A lot of good people and information here, and be sure to check out the Adam's videos for additional instructions or aides in using the products.
  19. Don't want to thread jack Dan's original post, but below is a photo of calipers also done with G2 paint. I did not use the brush provided, but instead purchased both a 1" brush, which I then shortened the bristles on, and some smaller hobby brushes from a Sherwin - Williams Paint store. Mine were a 2 day project, rears first, then fronts, as I took everything apart to paint, and also painted (sprayed) the rotor hats while everything was apart. The wheels are Black Chrome, and really look good on the vehicle with the red calipers. Best thing about G2 Caliper Paint, is it is "Made in America" and readily available in numerous colors.
  20. Congratulations to all those who venture out to this event at West Coast Corvettes! Being close to the "other side of the country" and this the Woodward Dream Cruise weekend, I will be staying close to home to attend that event. Here is hoping for both great weather, and a great turnout there!
  21. First off, welcome, secondly this: ......I agree if you want to strip your paint use All Purpose Cleaner if not use Waterless Wash or Rinseless Car Wash. One more thing that I may add, after you get the bugs removed apply a coat of Quick Sealant on your front clip......the Quick Sealant will make your paint slick and bug will come off a lot easier the next time. Chris05GTO nailed it with great advice here...............................................
  22. Welcome Steve, Check out the information in the link below, pertains to caring for your stripes. http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/13404-caring-for-factory-vinyl-stripes/
  23. Welcome Jim, I had a friend who lived across the country from me in Eugene, but I think he has since "retired" to Hawaii? Nice collection of vehicles, and a lot of good people and information here. Be sure to check out the Adam's videos if you have any questions on products or processes.
  24. Check out the link below. http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/28815-clearance-great-deals-on-remaining-inventory/ Hard to beat these prices for NEW Gen 4 pads.
  25. Welcome Jeff, Follow the advice given above by Chris05GTO and you should be more than satisfied with the results. If you want further proof, check out a post I made regarding a black Corvette for photos and evidence. NOTHING beats a clean, detailed black vehicle!
