  1. Welcome to the forum. Adam's is not only on the web, but also available on social media sites too! Be sure to watch the videos on the website, and ask any other questions on the forum. Lots of great people, and information here!
  2. Welcome! A lot of good people and information here. Be sure to check out the Adam's videos if you have questions too!
  3. You can use the Buttery Wax after Correction and Finishing Polishes, but will get longer protection duration from Liquid Paint Sealant.
  4. Looks very nice! By using only the PC on your wife's Tahoe, it should make the job easier to complete with great looking results.
  5. As received and started 2 passes with Cyclo, Orange Microfiber pads, and Adam's Paint Correcting Polish Attached are photos of a black 2007 C6 Corvette that has sat inside an old warehouse for the last 5 years, uncovered, and it looks like wiped down with something that damaged the paint. Car only has 6600 miles, and it was driven a TOTAL of 700 miles in the past 5 years, so it has seen some limited driving and outdoor environment too. The bottom photo is only 2 passes of Correcting Polish with a Cyclo machine, NO Finishing Polish, Sealant, or Glaze yet applied. A machine can, and will make black look as fresh, new paint, without too much effort, as long as you use the proper tools and products. This car will end up as a show car, so time to complete isn't the top priority, more so 100 percent correction.
  6. Rich, Voted all (3) days, and hope that your town comes out in first, even though they both qualify for upgrades! Results won't be available until Saturday, May 2 after 145PM EST, so please be sure to let the forum know how Johnstown fared.
  7. Welcome to the forum, and you have both a GREAT introduction, and car! Looks EXCELLENT!
  8. Congrats. Dylan, the truck looks great in the photos, and I can only imagine how fine it will be once you get it dialed in to meet your wants and needs!
  9. Attached is a 50 / 50 photo of a 1995 C4 that was totally hammered and wasted prior to me getting it for a detail. I used a Cyclo, started witth Orange Microfiber pad and the Orange Paint Correcting Polish. About 3 passes with that combination, and then White Finishing Polish with white foam pads. Correction is possible, just how much time do you want to spend to make it right? Unfortunately for me, this was a relatives car, and it took me 24 actual working hours to make it 90 - 95 percent perfect. So, using the right tools and products can make your C4 as god as it possibly can be! My only regret here is that the photo does NOT show how bad the hood and all of the upper surfaces were, as this car was left outdoors, uncovered here in Michigan for at least 4 years.
  10. If you follow the steps of applying VRT to all the rubber trim first, should eliminate or reduce the need to tape, as long as you are careful with how close you actually get to the edge of it. Cyclo is super easy to use and control, so take your time and pay attention to the little details, and you should be fine! PS: A lot of great tips in the replies above too!
  11. Welcome Michael! Beautiful Jaguar, it will really stand out once it is "Adamized." A lot of good people and information here, and be sure to check out the videos if any questions arise.
  12. Count me in, although Detroit is the "real" Hockey-Town, I have relatives in Johnston, PA.
  13. Welcome David! A lot of good people and information here! Be sure to check out the Adam's videos if you have any questions.
  14. Welcome to the forum! A lot of good people and information here on the forum, and the Adam's website. Nice car, I had one too, a 1979 model year, all black show car, a long time back in the 80's.
  15. Welcome to the forum. You chose the best products to make it look it's best, no matter how bad you may think it looks now. Take your time, use the correct product and process, and be amazed at the transformation! If you need any help, feel free to ask, and be sure to watch the very informative videos!
  16. Welcome to the forum! Sounds like a real nice truck based on year and model selection. Be sure to post photos, and make sure to look at videos on the Adam's site if you have any questions.
  17. Both of the pads mentioned above can be found in the store! Look in "Accessories" then select "Microfiber Pads" or "Show All" tab features.
  18. Beautiful car, please keep the thread updated with photos of your progress.
  19. Welcome, the white and lowering looks good.
  20. Looks great, and that is correct about not needing to wipe off residue from correcting polish before working with finishing polish. The Cyclo is really user friendly, and although may require more passes to correct, it finishes great!
  21. Welcome Matt! There is a lot of good information and people here for you to learn from.
  22. Paul, nice Dart! Really like the car and color. Be sure to post photos once all of your "personalization mods" are done!
