  1. Was looking at the different glass cleaning kits they have here and noticed the new aerosol cleaner. I searched the forums and didn't find a thread. Am curious how it stacks up against the regular stuff.
  2. Just ordered 4 Adam's things from detailing.com yesterday, then I see see thread an hour after. Hope the bottles come with these new sprayers, they look really nice/
  3. Have the old brush, it's not bad but it's not my go to. The new one looks like it wouldn't be my go to either. That's the one I use, I know not everyone likes the same stuff and probably a lot of people love Adam's brush. But IMHO a 2nd brush similar to the pic would be SWEET! I've used about 8 different tire brushes and this one's the best and it's not even close.
  4. I haven't cleaned my keyboard in ages, I try to not look at it lol. Over the past year or so it has accumulated a lot of chip dust, food crumbs and just various other fall out. All that mixed with the oil from my hands had pretty much turned all the debris that was between the keys into some sort of gunk. I have a Logitech G710+ where the keycaps can be removed real easily, pretty much every keyboard I've ever owned there was a way to remove them so you can clean in all the nooks and crannies. As I was starting I was going to take some before and after pics, but UUUGH once I saw it up close I was too embarrassed lol don't judge me. But yeah, it was pretty um disgusting. The last straw was the other night I spilled some ranch on it whilst I was munching on Mac & Cheetos from Burger King. Anywho this is not a story about my filthy keyboard but a review of a few Adam's products. Once I got all the keys off I put them into a ziplock bag then added some rinseless wash. I know APC would have worked better, but I was too lazy to mix up my APC, plus the stuff I have isn't Adam's. The keys had a decent amount of many many things that had build up. So I let them soak for a 5 minutes, shaking the bag a few times. With zero scrubbing they came out looking 90% better, some basically brand new. On the actual board there was a trife amount of a mixture of lord knows what. I eat a lot while I'm on my PC, I drink a lot, I don't spill very often, but in a year it seems to add up. So I took it outside and shook it violently, some of it was loose and fell out, but a lot of the lord knows what had morphed into some sort of semi sticky ooze. My bright idea was to rub it with a lightly damp MF towel, nope too plush so it couldn't get into the cracks and the spaces between the keys. Some came out, but a lot still was chilling. Somewhere I have some detailing swabs, those would be PERFECT! Welp, except I haven't a clue where I put them. Then I remembered in my last order I got the tire brush. It worked beautifully, it got about 95% of the remaining goop out and did it quick. Whatever all had built up wouldn't have even came out using my Metro Vac & Blo as a blower. Before I put the keys back on I wiped it down with a MF that had been soaked in Rinseless wash, it came out shiny! TL;DNR My keyboard was good awful, now it looks ALMOST as good as new. Rinseless wash did an awesome job, I will now go find other things besides my car and my keyboard to try using it on. the ire brush is a great brush. removing every key from a keyboard and trying to remember where they all go when re-assembling's tough. I think a few of the non standard keyboard ones are probably in the wrong place lol. I know probably a lot of you are cleaner than I, and maybe even don't eat or drink around your computer. But for the rest of us, use Adam's products and clean your keyboard if you haven't in awhile!
  5. Of course there's no need, but there's hex grip applicators which are color coded. You could technically use the blue one for everything. While I'm on it, Adam's should make color coded mints too...
  6. Inflation buddy, I just got my latest order and it only had TWO mints!!! My last order was less $$$ wise and it had 4. I just know a day will come when I open an order and it has no mints inside *HMPT!*
  7. I know everyone's nose is different, but I have an older bottle of TID and love the smell. It reminds me of baby powder, did they change it?
  8. I'm a bit OCD about my detailing supplies, Adam's already does this for their Hex Grip applicators. I think it would be pretty sick if they offered their towels with silk edges to match the products. IE Pink border for Detail Spray Yellow border for buttery wax etc... Not sure how it would work, would there be 3 of each color? I try to color coordinate all my detailing stuff and this would be perfect imho. This sounds overkill, and normally I'd agree. But the people who use Adam's products tend to be a bit beyond your normal detailers when it comes to spending $$$ So I decided to make a poll to see, who knows maybe this could happen one day. I'd definitely buy at least 6 of each.
  9. An expensive idea, but what about single/double/triple soft towels with color matched edging? The OCD in me would dig a Double Soft with a yellow border for removing Buttery Wax. I, and I'm sure some others would definitely stock up on them. But these probably wouldn't sell close to well enough to justify them being made as most people aren't as OCD as me lol. But a plus for Adam's *IF* they changed a products coloring, like with the wheel cleaner they'd have me buying new towels to match Of course that's a bad example because I'm not going to use a double soft towel on a wheel.
  10. nice review, I just ordered this, how much would you say you used? I see the bottle but I'm not sure how much it's filled when it comes. And how much of an visual difference would you say there was between round 1 and round 5? And to anyone who might be thinking 5 applications sounds like a lot, I've had to go over dirty tires 5 or 6 times to get white foam with Tuff Shine. And from my experience with Tuff Shine, visually I didn't notice much difference if I cleaned it until the foam was white. But it made a big difference if I was putting something like Tuff Shine Tire Coat on. When my box is delivered I'm going to try a single cleaning with this then some Adam's tire shine - will post a review.
  11. I just ordered my 1st gallon of it, I Googled but nothing. For anyone who uses it, does it have any sort of water softening agents in it? I know a few of the other rinseless products out there do. I live in So Cal and have very hard water. I'm curious if I'll be better off buying distilled water or just using tap. Also, I ordered a 6 pack of the new Double Soft Towels, for rinseless how clean will the washing machine get them? I don't mean removing debris. Like as far as does the rinseless solution stain the towels? And with a proper washing how clean do they come out looking? I've been using blue edgeless for my rinse & waterless washes. They come out looking really good, even after used and washed 150 times on a semi dirty car . But I'm a bit apprehensive about using $10 towels on my customers cars, especially a white towel lol. Right now I wash in hot water with All Free & Clear and about every 3rd wash use Adam's Microfiber Revitilizer. Obviously I'll find out when I get my towels and use/clean them, But I'm pondering ordering more before the 4th sale's over. I typically wash about 2 cars a day, so the towels will see a lot more use than if I just washed my own car once a week.
  12. I've never thought of trying rinseless dilution in a bottle like waterless. But I can attest to having cleaned some very dirty cars with WW, not muddy and grime. Just very dirty from not being washed for a good while. In those cases I use lots of high quality MF's and have always loved the results. For reference, my car's a Saturn Sky. Which is a small convertible roadster. Once when it was uber dirty I WW it and ended up using like 10 towels. Each one folded into fours & I used both sides. I do spray the panels with more solution and let it pre-soak for a bit longer when a cars very dirty. I'm not of the thinking that waterless is only for lightly dirty cars. Enough towels and good technique you can really work some magic. I use to do rinseless, but I pretty much exclusively do waterless now. Also a good sprayers helps a lot, I use a Kwazar pump sprayer, the Adam's one sold on here would be excellent as well. With all that said, there will be plenty of cars past the safe dirty point for a waterless, which will be lower than rinseless. But I don't agree with a lot of people on where that point is.
  13. I recently invested in a nice set of Ply Clad stainless steel cookware. From what I've been reading, with SS it's very easy to leave lots of micro scratches regardless of how soft the towel you use is. I know that won't effect the cooking, but I'm kind of anal about swirls on my car so I'll probably be the same about my pans lol. I'm wondering if it has to do with the length of the nap maybe? Adam's experts what say you as to which towels I should buy to dry my pots and pans. Right now I'm leaning to single softs, but if less nap would be better I gotta go another direction. HUMMM, I do have a few Adam's Glass towels.
  14. Not trying to argue with you here, but to bring up a different perspective. How do you know MFR is the best thing to take care of them? I've tried everything from Tide & All Free to all the specalized MF detergents you can only buy online. If I washed 5 of the exact same towels in the 5 best detergents I've used. I couldn't tell them apart if you paid me a million bucks. Well, outside of just 5 lucky guesses lol. I use All Free & Clear with Oxiclean right now, and my towels come out looking as good as anything I've used. And I can do 91 loads for around $17 bucks. Will my towels hold up? That I don't know, but I know the year I used a dedicated MF detergent on my older batch of towels, I'm not seeing a difference, yet any ways. I will say this, even the best products I've used in terms of my towels coming out looking the cleanest. They never feel like when I bought them after about 4 washes. They become less soft and just feel, I dunno used. I guess this is just how it is. So for me, I go with the cheapest product that gives me visibly good results. Now this isn't a diss to Adam's product, it's just too pricey for me considering I'm not even sure using it will give me better results over my store bought detergent. And as already mentioned by others, the Adam's staff themselves tell you this isn't reaslly a product you use every wash as your detergent. Not that you can't, but I don't think that's what it excels at. I think it suppose to excel as a pre-wash treatment, if I under the product correctly.
  15. I'/m ALWAYS careful about checking my cart before I hit the final submit button. Last order I had added some stuff when I wasn't logged in. When I went to check out it had me log in. Well, I had a bunch of things in my cart from a day before when I had been logged in. And I think it re-added the few things I had added that day when I wasn't signed in. Needless to say I caught it before I made a huge mistake. IMHO it would be nice if they added an always logged in option, I'm the only person who uses my computer and it would just be easier for my lazy butt to not have to check to see if I'm logged in or not every time I added something to my cart. Or even, in the top right corner where it says profile, it could say your name if you're logged in instead of just profile.
  16. I am NOT an enabler, anyone who wants to enter recovery PM me and I'll give you my address so you can send me your Adam's products. I don't want to enable, I want to help...
  17. I've bought about 4 different brands of these, and they all sucked. Always withing 3 or 4 uses either the stitching would come out and they would fall apart. Or the core would break up and the whole thing would become, I dunno mushy feeling. I had one brand I thought were better, but I washed them on delicate and they came out of the washer in bad shape. These about the same price as I paid for the others, so I'm wondering if it's more of the same. $3 a piece for something that lasts me 5 or less washes is no good.
  18. My Eagle's have help up pretty well, after 20 or so washes they still look almost new and feel pretty soft. With that said I absolutely <3 the Adam's Single Soft. I know it's silly, but I love the black stitching with the white towel and it makes me want to buy them over the Double Soft. I see Adam's started to offer 6 packs of the Single's so I think I must go order some lol.
  19. I thought it was maybe my browser acting up, but I tried a different browser and it did the same thing. The area to remove an item from your cart seems a bit random. I click right on the X and half the time it takes me to the product page. It just took me 5 tries to remove an item, it kept going to the product page. It does it at my work too, so I can't blame my computer, for once lol. My assumption would be that the whole area with the black and the X in the upper left corner should remove items. If it's something I'm doing somebody help me here? haha
  20. I washed my car today and clay bared the windshield. Nanoskin Autoscrube Sponge thingy'ed the windshield. I have the fine one and even after 3 passes with Glide the baggy test I could still feel some bumps, but it was a lot smoother. I need to order the medium one and see what it can do. Anywho I cleaned it with glass cleaner + the Adam's glass towel. Then I applied the glass sealant and after a few minutes I re-cleaned it again. WOW it's clean, I have a lot of impurities, I can see a million tiny glitter looking specks when the sun hits it just right. Dunno what caused it, I can't feel them and claying doesn't make any different. Any ways, when I left for work today I marveled at how clear my windshield was. I didn't drive before the sealant so I don't know if that made a difference. But this is the cleanest I've had it in ages. I will be buying more of both, definitely a gallon for the cleaner.
  21. While they don't make them anymore, the original Adam's Wheel Woolies (not the bent one) are worth tracking down if you don't have Woolies. They're much better than the ones you see everywhere else. Wheel Woolies imho are a vital thing to have for detailing. The Deep Wheel Cleaner is another great one, works about the same as the other decontaminate I use. But it smells a whole lot better.
  22. They say a pictures worth a thousand words, dunno what happened but my before and after pictures turned out awful and weren't worth 100 words. So you'll just have to take my word here, if you want... I bought the kit with the sealant and towels. I live in So Cal where it never rains so it makes sense I wanted to put sealant on my windows to help with rain when I'm driving. Anywho I had the old formula glass cleaner, it's right around my favorite. I have another brand I like but it's flash time sucks. Anywho, yesterday we had some crazy out of nowhere dust storm that dirtied up my wind shield. Then later that night it rained for about 10 seconds. I used my wipers but forgot my fluid tank was empty so all that happened was the dirt smeared all over. This afternoon I decided to try out the new cleaner. I was too lazy to wash my car first, and the windows were too dirty for me to want to soil up the glass towels that came with the kit. So I used an older very short nap black MF towel I got somewhere ages ago. I dunno maybe Target *shrug* Afew light sprays and a few wipes then I flipped the MF and buffed it. It did an exceptional job at removing the dirt. I had respray the bird poop areas but it too came off pretty easily. Doing a quick semi sloppy job with the wrong MF I was still impressed. I absolutely cannot wait to nanoskin + clean + sealant it. It also smells good, not sure if it's my top pick for windows but at worst it's neck and neck with the other stuff I use.
  23. I agree with the bulk option, I just got my order from here the other day. While I haven't used them yet, I love how the single plush towels that come in the H20 kit feel. I'd probably order a bunch if there was an option for quantity discount. Just ordered my favorite double sided towels from another site. 10 would have cost me $47.60, 30 ended up costing me $125.10. Now I know Adam's isn't for bulk buying like that. But if y'all offered even a 5 pack I would be all over it. With that said I'll probably order a few of the double pack of the single soft soon
  24. AWESOME I didn't need pics but thank you Now I just need to go pick up the shelve then buy some Adam's 1 gallon refills to put on them. Sorta related question to anyone who knows, I live in hot Inland Empire (Southern California) I plan to put my shelves & chemicals in my garage where it absolutely bakes in the summer. It's dry but very hot. I know in general it's not ideal to store detailing stuff in the heat. But are there any Adam's products that would be an absolutely no go in 100+ degrees? I'm looking to get glass cleaner, H20 *maybe* Tire Shine, Deep Wheel Cleaner and possibly a few others.
  25. I'm shopping around for some shelving so I can organize all my detailing products. I don't have anything in a 1 gallon size *yet* and was wondering the dimensions. The store I was at has 3 different units with different heights and depths. But the shelves aren't adjustable so I want to get the right one.
