  1. So I like to get every last drop of product out of all my bottles. So I decided to make an easy use holder. I took 2 old capes that I had laying around and epoxied them together. I tried super glue but it didn't hold. Once the epoxy dried I drilled a hole and then used a dremel with a grinding bit to enlarge the hole. Then WALA all done.

  2. Looking at getting a home security camera set up and was looking for input from people that have them. Any suggestions on what features, camera type, and so on? I don't know where to begin, besides some casual reading on the internet.

The cameras will be mainly outdoor. Was thinking of a 4 camera set up that can be expanded later.

    Thanks

    Josh

  3. i use brilliant glaze with a spray head, yes it does clogs the pump part of the spray head, not the spray nozzle. So I just push the plunger time out ever time I spray. I've been doing it likes this for a while now and I'm use to it so it doesn't bother me. I found I also don't use as much and a bottle last longer.

Brillant glaze is a Shine Enhancer and thats it. It last a couple of weeks. I like it because I have an Irdium colored truck and it makes it look good.

  4. I'm looking at getting a water deionizer and wanted to see what other people had and there thoughts. I'm looking at the Griots one. I know CR spotless makes some but they look like the will need to be changed more often than some other deionizes. Another one i'm looking at is the on the go single and dual tank options.

My water TDS varies from 300 to 400 every time I test the water.Since i have to wash outside with little to no shade and deionizer would help against water spots.

    Thanks for your input.

  5. So I decide to see how much better the visco clay bar is compared to the old clay bar and below are my findings. (My little science test)

Test subject: Wifes 2010 4Runner that she's owned since 2011(Previous owner didn't take care of it at all)

    Detail spray as lube.

Left side hood, front bumper, and front panel: blue clay bar first and then followed up with visco clay

Right side hood, front bumper, and front panel: Visco clay by itself.

First 2 pic are before shots.

Next pic is showing new clay bars.

Blue clay bar after doing the Left side as stated above.

Next 2 pics are Visco after going of Left side after blue clay bar.

Then the pic of Visco clay doing the Right hand side by itself.

The last 3 pics are after shoots.

My Conclusion on blue clay vs Visco clay: I found that the Visco clay pulls more contamination from the paint than the blue. If you look a the picture of the blue clay and visco clay side by side, you can see that the visco pulled more contamination after the blue clay bar went first.

Other info to add: I had my wife feel the hood to see if she felt a difference on either side and she said no. I followed up with paint sealant until I get time to correct and finish her vehicle. The vehicle needs a paint job due to lack of care from previous owner.

    Any questions ask away.

  6. So this winter I made myself a detailing cart and easy dispense gallon containers. I got the cart from jet.com with a 15% off coupon, and made the bottle holder. Another holder is painting at this time for the in and out can, Foam gun(looks better with an Adams sticker on it), and mini pump sprayer for my wheel cleaner. Also got some pour spouts from eBay and made holes in the caps of the gallon caps and now its easier to fill the bottles with. I'm going to order a couple more of the spouts and make more easy for gallons.

Of course all my products are Adams........Some thing tells me I need more Adams product.

I keep my Cyclo, mini Rupes, pads, and clay bar in my old "wax spreader" container.
