  1. Thanks. Here is the bottom; 383 stroker small block, 500 HP, Lakewood scatter shield, polished stainless exhaust system, CalTracs traction bars. Pulled the original M21 Muncie 4 speed and replaced with an AutoGear M22 (a heavy duty copy of a Muncie). Has original 3:73 Posi rear.
  2. Here is a before pic, before slicks and old school dog dish with Wide Ovals.
  3. 68 SS Nova back from the shop for suspension work. Not a really clear pic, but just ordered Adam's Clay Bar so I can start the clean up and polishing. Then I will post a clear picture of a Not Dirty Nova!
  4. I've noticed with excessive use / waxing that there seems to be less wax in the container than when it was new. Is it possible the container has expanded or do you think some wax may have disappeared? Maybe Ashley can explain this?
  5. Well o/k, but all my Adam's stuff looks like $800,000, it's that nice!
  6. O/k, just ordered a gallon refill of Detail Spray and the Glass Gleaning Collection, with that great flat rate shipping. I told Ashley I thought I was close to the $800,000 spent club by now, asked her if she would send me a free pack of gum. Well, order on the way and Ashley is throwing in a Detail Apron! I mean, don't you just love this Adam's Company and the people you deal with! I figure I can wear the apron when I do the dishes...........while my loverly wife watches TV.
  7. Hendrick Motorsports should be using Detail Spray on the NASCAR Chevys to make them slippery fast, probably add 2 mph on the big tracks.
  8. Good Lord, that thing is beyond words, nothing new at any price can come close to the beauty of that Impala. Terrific detail job.
  9. Wow, congrats man! We'll need a sound video of that beast lighting up the tires. Oh yea, 427 VETTE CONVERTIBLE!
  10. Wow, those must be great memories. My Dad worked for GM and every other year for a while he bought a new car, Impala SS; 1964, 66, 68, 70.
  11. I'm a Chevy guy, but man, Daytona Coupe, baddest badass car ever made. Damn, just DAMN!
  12. No, was repainted by guy I bought it from. Had it done by a Mercedes dealer he is a customer of, and my paint guy confirms they did a very nice job. It is all original fiberglass body, and amazed it does not even have a stress crack around the headlights. I got luck with this one. Thanks, and yea, black on black was just be killer.
  13. Thanks everyone, I've looked for years to find this color combination, Lemans Blue with the Bright Blue interior, as a 427 Tri-Power convertible matching #'s with the tank sticker, it was a real find. Just need to finish the engine compartment detailing, put on the rally wheel trim rings, and..........
  14. O/k, not done yet, no trim rings, engine compartment not done and tune up in progress. But, for what it's worth here it is so far.
  15. Oh yea! GM is alive & well even more that they have turned the keys over to Adam for the Corvette & Camaro. Now GM, just add in the Caddys. A big CONGRATS to Adam, good things happen to good people! Now Adam, you need one new product: ADAMS SMOKEY BURNOUT QUARTER PANEL RUBBER REMOVER.
  16. Whoa yea 70'sChevyGirl! Yep, gotta take some pics. 69 427 400 HP Tri-Power Vette convertible, LeMans Blue with Bright Blue interior, M21 4-speed and 3.70 Posi. Stock except has 280 Magnum Comp Cam. Smokey burnouts to follow!
  17. to Adams Leather Conditioner. I tried a spot on my 69 Vette dyed vinyl dash pad, looked good. So, I did two thin coats over a few days, the dash pad looks like 1969 original. It gave the dyed surface a new vinyl look, smooth satin look. Terrific result.
  18. I just re-dyed my 69 Vette dash pad, was faded but no cracks, etc. The repro dash pads are just not as secure fitting as the originals. Re-dyed the light bright blue, and the dyes do work quite well, I have even done seat covers, dye covers like new and is flexible. So, can I put Adam's leather / interior conditioner on the re-dyed dash pad?
  19. O/k, real nice. So, procedure? Wet tire first, or dry, full strength All Purpose, etc.?
  20. No new posts here since 2009? There must be something new by now to clean white letters.
  21. Looks terrific.............but is that doorway big enough to get the Camaro thru there?
  22. C.K. (black lab) and Jessie (little beagle). And, little Jessie ate my Fire Hose Nozzel.....
