Welcome to the forum Michael!
To answer your questions...
The steps I would use would be - Wash the car following the practices per the videos (i.e. wheels and tires first, rinse, soap, rinse) If I were you I would follow the daily driver video sequence as far as clay while wet, also if you want to use a second bucket (I would) use the grit guard in your rinse bucket until you can get a second grit guard.
2)The clay bar will remove stuck on contaminants. I would soak the bird bomb with DS unless you happen to have some WW or RW but if all you have is DS then it will work better than nothing. let it soak for a few minutes to break up the spot and then make sure it rinses off with your initial rinse. if there is anything left "stuck" in the paint from it then when you clay it will remove it. also if there is any etching from it the revive will really help take this off.
It looks like Jim beat me to a bunch of this so between the two of these responses you should have a good start!

I would start by reading this write-up. It is a great read and will really help your towels last longer and perform better.
Short answer to your question is no. You should only use the MFR&B or some guys use a "free and clear" type detergent. you don't want any perfumes, dyes, or softeners in with your towels. Also the MFR&B is a stand alone detergent for microfiber so it alone is enough. As Jim said you can use vinegar every few washes in the rinse cycle (put it in the fabric softener dispenser). Make sure your dispenser is cleaned out so you don't contaminate your towels with leftover soup or softener.

You guys and gals are too good to us! I'm pretty sure we had an initial run of 50 white SideKicks that sold out early yesterday morning. We're going to try to get more of the white ones made, but it looks like they may not be able to get them to us until mid-to-late January at the earliest.
What does everyone think, should we get more of the white ones?
The white is definitely sexy! Hopefully the wife comes through this Christmas with a B3-CD and I won't have to worry about buying a sidekick, but if I did I'd want a white one over the black.

Cool. I was hoping the corner would be ok, just wanted a little reassurance before I went off and ruined a $15 towel!

Laundry? I suppose I should be doing 5 separate loads of 3-5 towels each but I don't really have the time for that. Then I would have to have 5 separate hampers and I don't really have room for that either.
Could the edge stitching be marked a little in one corner with a sharpie or is there a problem with that?

I have about 10 double softs and I have used some of them for rinsless washes. I would like to mark them so I know which ones they are and keep the others for removing wax, sealant, and glaze residue. Is there a safe effective way to do this?
