  1. I have the cyclo and the swirl killer mini. I bought the cyclo awhile back thinking I would save up and buy the rupes mini. That way I would only have to buy the 4” pads for both machines. I just recently bought the swirl killer mini. I really like both machines. The cyclo is more than capable for anything I would polish. I have paint corrected my 2011 Yukon and removed several scratches from my friends 2015 Tahoe.
  2. Once you get the sticker and remaining glue off I would use sticker shield. I have been using them for several years now. They peel off very easy and don’t leave behind stick glue.
  3. Saw this earlier. Maybe the polishes will be available in 16 oz size?
  4. I used tar remover and a wet single soft to remove the scruff marks caused by the clay mitt.
  5. Yes I counted all those holes. When I ceramic coated them I would do 100 at a time.
  6. I fought this battle on my 2011 Yukon Denali grille. It was always a pain to clean. Because of all the tiny holes. About 615 of them. But since I ceramic coated them it is much easier to clean.
  7. You could go all out and get one of these backpack sprayers
  8. Looks like some new products just dropped. http://adamspolishes.com/shop/specials/sub-category-1.html
  9. I just had my bumpers repainted on my Yukon. The shop said no high pressure wash for 30 days and no wax or sealant for 120 days. I would just ask the shop every shop is different.
  10. I ran my swirl killer mini on 6 when correcting my Yukon. It destroyed the backing plate before I could finish the just the front bumper. Now I use speed 3-4 with occasional bumps up to 5-6 when a little extra power is needed. But it's a great machine.
  11. The panel was cool I had just washed my truck. I didn't use any detail spray I was dunking my clay mitt in my wash bucket with car shampoo. I was really pushing down hard because the day before a truck in front of me spilled what looked like a bucket of paint. I was trying to get off all the paint splatter. Next time I use the clay mitt I will use detail spray and not apply as much pressure.
  12. Maybe I wasn't using detail spray I was dunking the mitt in my wash bucket with car shampoo
  13. I used the clay mitt this weekend. I think it works great. My hand would always cramp up using the clay bars. No hand cramps with the mitt. The only issue I came across is if you push down to hard it could leave a black mark almost like a shoe scuff on a linoleum tile floor. I had to use tar-ex to get the mark off. This only happened twice once of the edge of the door and once on the hood. Hard to see in the photo. Just don't push down real hard and there is no problems with the clay mitt. Definitely easier and faster than the clay bar.
  14. Washed my Yukon. Paint and trim coated, tire shine, quick sealant on the wheels. Sorry for the crap iPhone photo
  15. I have noticed when I wash with the strip wash and it's hot outside I get streaks left behind. I only use the strip wash before claying or correcting. So I normally rewash with the blue car shampoo afterwards. It's probably cause it's so hot and humid in Texas during the summer.
