  1. Welcome! Do you happen to be a Son's of Anarchy fan?
  2. Didn't even think about that. I assumed there is a reason Adam's doesn't carry GG. I keep forgetting they sell detail items and not just polishers. They are also made in China, I believe. You know. I have seen that more often when compared to the PC. Griot's seems to fail more often. Although, the PC only has a 1 year warranty I think and according to some detailing videos I watched, you really only want to polish your car once, right? The whole point is to no reintroduce scratches and swirls. This is accomplished through technique and utilizing thr two bucket wash and proper towels, etc. So essentially, I will use the polisher once in that year and BOOM warranty gone. Very valid point. I'm all about supporting Adam's. Honestly, the junkman videos made me stick to the PC. He states he doesn't recommend any other polisher for a novice/beginner since they are so safe. He doesn't talk about the GG much, but says it's okay too. That's good to know as that was a big complainant for the PC> Thanks for the replies everyone. Very much appreciated. Sorry my first post came off harsh. I wrote it late and I was tired, haha.
  3. I hate to be this guy but after hours and days of searching the internet, I can't get a solid answer. So, I trust you guys... I am either purchasing the PC 7424XP or Griot's Garage Polisher. If you were to advise on those two and those two ONLY which one would you go with? I'd love to hear from people that experienced both. I'm ready to pull the trigger and can't make up my mind ***DISCLAIMER: I will not entertain any other polishers at this point. I don't mind spending the money now - becoming skilled and upgrading later. You can never have too many tools. Thanks for your input and time.
  4. Just got our taxes done... ouch! Dan - I need the guide pronto!

    FedEx is Strange

Not a fan in general. Some days my package arrives in 3 days. Other days it arrives in 5 and once it took 7.
  6. Thanks so much! That's a friend of mine. He is the one who recruited my to Adam's. Give him a follow on Instagram: owenspackman His Hellcat is cleaner than anything I've ever seen and he drive's it like it's meant to be driven. Perfect car.
  7. I just dealt with Dan on the Adam's Polishes chat trying to make somewhat of a custom order. Dan was patient and tentative and even offered suggestions on what kit to go with that would make it easier to customize. After building a kit that was comparable to the one offered, I called to place my order. There, I spoke to Ben, who was upbeat, friendly and very helpful. I placed my custom order within minutes I was on my way. The point of my story - In today's retail world, there lacks a level of customer service, but certainly NOT at Adam's. At no time did Ben or Dan make my custom request seem like a bother. They were totally helpful and understanding of the need to customize. So, thanks guys! EDIT: Also, thanks to the shipping team. It took 25 minutes after the phone call was concluded to have a tracking number. Wow!
  8. I know everyone's been busy... Just checking in again.
  9. I agree. It seems like the cost of cars and performance/appearance modifications are growing in price faster than salaries.
  10. I just looked up the Django ride on google... One word, WOW!
  11. ^ Thanks for the advice Stephen. I have plenty of "Made in China" towels I could use. My wheels really aren't that dirty. Just wasn't sure what to use to agitate them if the deep wheel cleaner or all purpose cleaner didn't get everything. I don't have all the wheel tools yet.
  12. I have a wheel brush, not a wheel woolie. This weekend will be there first time I use my Adam's products. Any recommendation on what microfiber towel to use on the wheels? Thanks.
  13. Check this link out: http://adamspolishes.com/whichmachinepolishershouldibuy
  14. Has anyone made a thread that explains what towels to use with what products... this is the most confusing thing to me. Something like. Rinseless Wash = Double Soft Towel, Edgeless Towel, etc.. ?
  15. Welcome! Your ride looks great.

I'd love to go skiing right about now!
  17. True. I trade in a C6 Corvette for my Challenger. I love all cars, really. The next person is drinking a beer tonight with dinner.
