  1. I actually found out there is a button at the top. When you add something to your wishlist, you'll notice a note in green letters that says it's been added, and the second part of that message says click "here" to continue shopping.
  2. All of this talk has made me interested in buying some! I'd probably mainly be using it "wash" the nooks and crannies inside door jambs and in the trunk areas of my vehicles.
  3. Nice work! Now it's time to hit that SS I spotted in the background!
  4. PVC Trim, brilliant! I was going to use 1"x8" wood...because that's what I have lying around. I suppose if I seal/stain it enough, it should last. Not like it's going to get soaked anyways. But if you make an extra set or 2 of those, I would purchase them from you......
  5. First off, welcome to the Forum! You should be able to get that taken care of in your driveway. What I suggest you do is watch the videos on the paint correcting process, and then watch them again to make sure you got it down. Try the least aggressive method first! Then step it up from the to achieve the results you're looking for! Post up pics of your progress, and feel free to ask any questions! Nice cart by the way, I'm in the process of building the same thing.
  6. So there I was..... I had remodeled our front bathroom, minus the shower. Everything came out except the ceiling (although it was smoothed out to get rid of the popcorn), and was completely redone. All that was left was to redo the shower....just waiting on the wife's final "design" to get it all done. I had been out of town when she told me that one of the kids "might have messed up the shower..." Confused, I asked for more clarification (1st mistake). She told me one of the shelves of the side had just "fallen off" when the 2 little ones were taking a bath. Wait for it....I asked "How did that happen?" (2nd mistake). She told me that they were playing with one of the loofah's and it got stuck on one of the towel holders (see pic below). Try as they might, they pulled until it broke free....including the shower surround! Apparently she (my 3 year old) also fell backwards and took out the shower curtain (I have the broken screws to prove it). I said, "Ok, I'll fix it when I get home." Upon arrival, I notice the crime scene has mostly been cleaned up. Wife's first words were, "I'm sorry!" I was able to get the surround back into place, thanks to a few screws to maintain structural integrity. But, I'd had enough at that point. I told her I was going to go with her most recent design, and I was going to install it that weekend. She couldn't argue at this point, although she was unaware that didn't have all of the tools necessary to get the job done. So here's how it started. Note the "storage racks" on the side of the shower: Then I had to completely remove everything: My say in the design process was "nothing up high to cause any further damage" So the final result ended up with a smooth look, and nothing too high to cause harm: She couldn't argue anything, and I ended up with a tile saw, grinder and tile hole saw out of the deal. And she got her bathroom finished, and no kids were injured in the process. Win/win all around I suppose.
  7. Garage floors "SHOULD" already be sealed. Since they are intended to have cars parked on them, it would be a no brainer to have it sealed. But, you're not likely going to see the "stains" under the flooring.....so who cares?
  8. I made the mistake and asked my wife that one time.....never again. Now I just use these instances as an excuse to buy more tools and supplies.
  9. Ya gotta start somewhere! I think you should charge at least $30, and I wouldn't do any job for $10. Unless you're talking about sealing the headlights....then I suppose that would be worth $10.
  10. A lil maintenance goes a long way! If you properly wash and seal your truck (including headlights!!!!!!!) you shouldn't have any problems. I would highly suggest coating your frame. The 2 methods you mentioned are very popular, so I'd say do your research on which one you should do.
  11. Biggest thing is be patient! Let it soak in for a while and be gentle. Too much pressure and you might pull the vinyl from the dashboard.
  12. Use the least abrasive as possible first! Try WD-40
  13. The "cache" was the problem! Thanks Dan! I'm no good with computers and the interweb.....
  14. Just tried it, and it doesn't show up for me. I even logged out completely from both the site and the forum, and no such luck. I'll keep checking as the day goes. Definitely excited that it's available though!
  15. ^^^^ Look at this, the fantastic customer service even extends to the dealers! Welcome!
  16. Thanks James! Just checked it out, I am in about the exact same spot with my truck as that one!
  17. If that truck was on scale of 1-100, I would put the "before" at 15. Everything was there, just needed to be shined. I would rate my truck at a 16, maybe. The interior and "VRT" applications are in better shape, but my bumpers and front end are in worse shape. Of everything you used on there Dylan, I have minus the metal polish(es) for the bumpers. How necessary are those? Would the PC and PF polishes do just as good, or do I need to put together another shopping cart?!? Also, how did you manage to clean up and shine the plastic chrome grille? I've got close to 300,000 miles on my truck, and my maintenance schedule was only slightly better than your cousins up until the last year or so. BTW, I have yet to be less than amazed with everything I have seen on this site! SOOO many good products and uses.
  18. So if I haven't done it once on my 15 year high mileage truck, I should expect to spend some "quality" time doing this. When I tackle the truck, I will post up "BEFORE" pics and ask some questions along the way. Many areas I'm not sure how to best deal with them.
  19. After I do this, I plan on correcting the paint as well. Will the LPS and Buttery wax keep this from coming back? I suppose worst case, it will be easier to maintain with more protection on the paint.
  20. My truck and DD are both white, and they look like they have chicken pox! Claying definitely helped, but it is still there pretty bad. Looks like my "Spring Cleaning" list is pretty long at this point.....need more in my shopping cart! I suppose I will do my wife's blue metallic Traverse as well.
  21. True/False. I just now realized there was a dark theme, so I switched to it! The next person has their shopping cart filled up, and debating whether to ship it to the office or the house, depending on the spouses mood today......
  22. And don't use too much......much like the CAPS lock, a lil goes a long way!
