  1. Have you tried to sheet rinse your vehicle prior to drying? On my Traverse, I barely need 1/2 of a drying towel to completely dry all of it when I sheet rinse. That would help save your laundry load!
  2. You should have gone with 1 gallon of Waterless, and 1 gallon of Rinseless. When your Waterless runs out, mix up a gallon of 16:1 Rinseless in the empty gallon, and you back in business! That route is way cheaper!
  3. "Sheet rinsing" has made a huge difference in drying my vehicles. 1 towel will do my Traverse no problem.
  4. Iowa's in the same boat, but I gotta say the new tire brush works great as is! Notice the video how thin the tires are on that Porsche.....it works just fine! I actually tries using the stiff tire brush the first go around with the Tire & Rubber Cleaner out of habit, but the new brush far outperformed the previous brush by far....even though the bristles are longer! The old brush hardly produced any foam, the new brush foamed up quickly. Long story short....the brush works great!
  5. Great job! My only advice would be your DOT sticker should say "US DOT...." I've received a ticket for that before.
  6. That's awesome! Make sure you say hi to the wife and kids before you disappear in the garage for a few days.
  7. Another method I have used is clean all of the windows at once with the same towel. Then go back around with a fresh towel and buff to perfection!
  8. I was always curious of this happening. But something tells me that the chemicals used to wash them would revert them back to the normal state. All of my towels still work just fine. Interested to hear what others have to say.
  9. Any (easily) removable piece should be removed and cleaned inside and out. Interior trim pieces sometimes have foam on the inside that can trap smoke. Even plastics can contain some smell, every bit helps. Best of luck, that's a hard task for sure.
  10. So you're saying that anyone that's on the fence about purchasing should go ahead and take the plunge?!?
  11. My 4 year old just found out the hard way why it's a bad idea to baptise the cat.
  12. Put a couple of bath towels across the dash before you clay it. Then all the overspray will land on the towel....not on the leather dash.
  13. That's a decent start! Hahaha. Those items will pay for themselves in less time that you think. You should detail your truck, then go show your "detailer" what a real detail looks like!
  14. Has anyone been able to find the Single Soft (or better) towels in a Bath Towel size? My wife is getting quite jealous that the vehicles have better towels than the humans......
  15. Nothing bad will happen between now and next Wednesday. No sense in "wasting" product just to get pretty beads. Just wait until you have the proper time, and then do it right. "Work smarter, not harder."
  16. Looks like it works very well since you don't pamper the company car as much as your own. I've pondered this for my company truck.....and I think you have just sealed the deal for me!
  17. What items are you looking to trade for?
  18. Yes, a spray on, spray off bug/tar remover would be your best bet. Try shooting the garden hose from the engine, towards the front. Then try the front foe the remainder. Also, look into a "cool cleaner" used for A/C fins....should be similar to your radiator and intercooler, but I don't know how it holds up to paint.
  19. I was thinking the same thing DVK! I'd be very careful trying to scrub anything on your dash until you know exactly what is going on there.
  20. Go to store where originally purchased, and purchase a new one. I don't think that smell will come out.....anytime soon at least.
  21. If it's something Adam's doesn't sell, you're fine posting it. They sell the "Interior Swabs", but no brush for the interior.....unless you're counting the cockpit brush.
