Looks like a tough color to get gloss out of, but I’d say you knocked it out of the park. Looks great! Very nice write up too ?? -

Am I Using Enough??
98BlackSierra replied to 98BlackSierra's question in Paint Correction & Polishing
Rather than start a new thread.... After applying the one step polish, can the Paint Sealant be applied over that or does it have to be to a freshly clayed surface? Reason being I wanted to polish the wife’s Jeep GC before winter and then seal it. Thoughts or opinions? -

I’m not sure of that myself lol. He did just have the tailgate replaced because it rusted out, but the rest of it is solid. I think he just sprays the salt off a lot during the winter lol

I’ve been trying to fit this into my schedule for a couple weeks, but got it done today. Gave a substantial discount as the guy is like a second father to me. So....2007 LBZ Duramax in rough shape. It hasn’t had a detail in close to 6 years and it’s always parked outside. Interior was full of dog hair and so rear windows with drool lol. Engine bay was filthy and of course I forgot to grab before and afters. So enjoy the final product. Interior was vacuumed and the seats were cleaned with leather and upholstery cleaner with a horse hair brush. The seats were then conditioned with Adams Leather Conditioner. Interior glass was cleaned with Adams Glass Cleaner and the windshield had Brillant Glaze applied. The exterior was given a personal with Adams Car Shampoo from a foam cannon. The front end was soaked in Waterless Wash to loosen up the bugs. The truck was then clayed with Adams Big Blue clay bar that I still have. After the truck was clayed, I applied Adam’s all in one Polish with my 15mm Swirl Killer with a white pad. The tires were scrubbed with Adams Rubber & Tire Cleaner and a blue tire brush. The wheels were cleaned with Wheel Cleaner and a red wheel brush. Engine bay was cleaned with All Purpose Cleaner and dressed with VRT.

Welcome Jeff!! It doesn’t take long to get addicted at all lol. Mine started several years ago with one bottle of Pumpkin Spice detail spray.

Lifted truck undercarriage
98BlackSierra replied to Devon527's question in Wheels, Tires, Trim, & Undercarriage
Honestly with all that detail under there, I'd clean with Car Shampoo and then wipe it down with some Detail Spray. Maybe even some of the Buttery Wax to set it off. All of the other black frame components, I'd use the Undercarriage Spray as you suggested. Truck looks beautiful BTW. -
Your Favorite 'Other than Intended' Product?
98BlackSierra replied to galaxy's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I use the glass cleaner around the house. The wifey is amazed how well that paired with a glass towel cleans our mirrors and pictures compared to her Windex and cheap microfibers. -
Welcome!!

Looks good! I have a ‘16 I’m leasing and the thoughts of owning a ‘19 make me sick lol. Looks like I’ll be buying used when the lease is up next year.

I just use the normal Detail Spray and open the other bottles to smell from time to time ?

Mine is super small compared to your guys lol. I figured I’d start collecting the LE Detail Sprays. Only one missing is the Cars and Coffee bottle I got later that day. Also, did anyone notice that aluminum is spelled wrong on the Mystery Detail Spray? I’m too ocd lol

I just did a one step polish on my buddy's '18 Ram with my new 15mm SK. I felt like I wasn't using enough, but maybe its in my head. I started out with 4 dime sized dots of the polish on the foam pad followed with a spray of Detail Spray. I've watched the videos before where Adam will spray a blast of Detail Spray when the pad begins to get dry to recharge the polish. I feel like I didn't use enough polish as I only reapplied it to the pad maybe 6-7 times during the whole process? What are your guys thoughts??

So I have a bunch of microfiber I’m washing with Microfiber Revitalizer. I have a couple of the gray borderless/edgeless that I used with H20 GG, several single & double soft, and the old blue glass towels. Can I throw them all in together or should I separate them?? Thanks for the help!! The glass towel im talking about

I know this is about a month old, but do you still have the detail spray? If so what were you looking for in trade?
