  1. LOL, I have watched that video a dozen times and every time I watch it hear Adam say Paint correction, Brilliant Glaze and then wax or sealant. Its very clear to me. This topic is asked about and debated to death because end users do not have a clear understanding of the order because even Adams Staff doesn't seem to agree on it. I can assure you that I am not the only customer that feels this way as I have talked at length to several other people that feel the same way. I am to the point I have just came to the conclusion it probably doesn't matter. That said, I love the GTO. Brazen is by far my favorite color and yours looks great.
  2. OK thanks. Well mine are not really an issue. Little lint is not a big deal to me.
  3. I would assume that boiling would not apply to guys like me that have 4 or 5 washes on single and double softs?
  4. Definitely not extreme. They are great towels but I do get some lint. I will switch towels on glass for the final wipe down. I just wondered if that went away.
  5. Does it take a while to de-lint new towels? I like to dry with the double softs and mine are still linting pretty bad too. When i got them I washed in plain water on warm. Now I wash after every use. My method is lay them out flat, spritz with Adams Microfiber solution, flip and spritz other side. Let sit about 30 minutes and wash in warm. Dry until almost dry but not totally then air dry overnight the rest of way and store until next use. Its really not bad but I always end up with lint in corners and a lot of it on glass. I would rather not do glass cleaner and glass microfiber towels every wash. Thought maybe this is just part of the territory for fluffy towels
  6. Yea I know that feeling. I have modified Dahlquist DQ10s. The Carver 350wpc is just about right. I have always loved the Kappas. You have a great system. I truly love it. Some day I hope to step up to some Mac stuff. You would like my direct to disc vinyl stash. I dont have a ton but a hundred including executive pressings made for Sheffield Labs that they only made 5 copies off. Some stuff I "lucked" upon on Ebay when a old employee was cleaning out their closet. I need to get out the polish for the Sota smoked top. It needs help. You have shamed me into it.
  7. Love it. And a Mcintosh in the system ! Yea the turntable is still my preferred choice of media. I have a Sota Sapphire with SME arm and Aurum beta S cartridge. Nice infinities too.
  8. Makes me wonder if I should just quit waxing the garage queen and use glaze. It spends about 8 hours a week at most outside in summer months and under a cover the winter months.
  9. Its an interesting process. You check it out and see what you think. Should got in a padded envelope so should be cheap to send USPS. Be happy to send it down. Research it and let me know via PM and if you want to I will get it on the way !
  10. Does yours have the mic input thing for Auto EQ? If so and it's something you want to try I will mail you the Pioneer Mic and you can do it and mail it back when you are done.
  11. You know I have to agree. The Android Auto on mine works way better than I would have thought. Even the hands free stuff works and sounds great. I am still figuring mine out as well.
  12. James, I am sure you will love it. I just upgraded to an Avic 8100 and really like it.
  13. Did not even know that was out. Good question and be interested to see the answers.
  14. Looks great. What does GM spray on frame? Just curious.
  15. I am reasonably sure this hose will be fine I have thought about the same thing. My friend Paul owns FastCap and sells the product below but its only good for 10 amps. Would need something with higher current rating. It has a nice little remote that velcros on the end of the hose. http://www.fastcap.com/estore/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=45290&idcategory=0
  16. The process is same as far as the paint correction. Great color you have btw. Not easy to blend though. My tbss bumper did not have much material on it and light sanding took might right through the clear. Post pics !!
  17. Well honestly I try not to totally dry my towels. Just 90ish dry. Then air dry them the rest of way and toss in tote. I have misjudged dry and had a musty smelling tote
  18. I do the same with small totes. I intentionally dont snap the lids tight as I would like them to breath. However, I want the dust to stay out too. Anyone have thoughts on ventilation?
  19. Showed off my Adams shine at Karl Perfomance. And they are an Adams dealer to boot !
  20. Happy now ! Commercial hose. Not only more flexible and easier to get around the vehicle but 40' long. Ugly blue but will have to get used to it I am sure the other one would have been fine but I am all about fixing what bugs you. Great machine overall. Great on interiors and much better than the air hose on compressor.
  21. I am always shocked how fast they ship anyway. Giving amazon prime a run for the money. Two thumbs up!
  22. All I am saying is you can bet some of these areas that I have circled may rub out. You do not want to paint that part if you dont need to. You really just want to fill the part that is missing color. Silver sucks ! Beyond that I am hesitant what to recommend as its always hard to tell in pictures the actual damage and I only know what I am comfortable doing which is probably not the same as others. Were you able to talk to anyone about professional options?
  23. Well I dont know what you have Do you have Adams paint correcting stuff? I would think some of that at the outer parts of damage is going to rub out. See what comes off the surface so you know what the real damage is that needs fixed.
  24. Fill it with paint first however you might try to hand rub out as much of the scuff as possible to see what you dont need to mess with. You will want to make sure you hit the area with wax and grease remover or similar product before you do the actual touchup. It will need leveled and buffed afterwards. I would keep the repair as small as possible. As I said the metallics make it tough to match.
