  1. Congrats. My youngest is Cooper as well.
  2. I use it on the wondows as well and have never had streaking. LIke others have said - maybe you are applying too much. I love it.
  3. Wax and sealant removal, H20 G&G, detail spray wipedown.
  4. I don't necessarily want to make them look more black. I want to make them easier to clean and keep them looking like the look now - new looking. My truck is only about 2 months old and I haven't gotten it really dirty yet so they look good but I can see over time, even with washing, they may fade or look dirty. I was hoping that keeping them coated with the undercarriage spray it would help keep them easier to clean and looking newer longer but I now see that the undercarriage spray may not be the best thing for those particular wheel well liners.
  5. I have been wondering the same thing. I have a 2016 GMC Sierra. I bought some undercarriage spray but haven't tried it yet because the wheel well liners didn't look like the typical black plastic you usually see under there. I wasn't sure what the material was so I have been hesitant to try the undercarriage spray. Right now I spray with All Purpose Cleaner and scrub with a long brush then rinse. If anyone has used the undercarriage spray on a 2016 Sierra (I assume the Silverado is the same) let us know.
  6. It would be appreciated if it's still there by then. I'm sure I have a bottle of something from my MBs that I could give you for the trouble. Thanks,
  7. Yeah I only plan to use touch up paint on the chipped part. If you look at other close up pics I posted you can see where there is a deep chip. The other scratches I am not touching with any paint. Just not sure how to buff them out or what to use to do it. Never did anything like this.
  8. I don't have any paint correcting products and have never used any in my life. I have no knowledge in this area. Thanks,
  9. Thanks. Hand rub it out with what?
  10. I just realized this was an older post from Nov. I was confused for a second. Bottles of wheel cleaner with a pink liquid inside? Mine are blue. Guess they changed the product between Nov and when I ordered mine a month or so ago.
  11. Should I put touch up paint in the chip before polishing or after?
  12. Yeah I plan to get some touch up paint for the small part that is chipped past the paint. I don't have a machine polisher though and don't want to buy one just for this. Anyone in the DFW area that knows what they are doing want to help me out with a little polishing to smooth it out?
  13. Here are some better pics with closeups
  14. you can definitely feel the scratch - tried to get pics a few mins ago in the bright sunlight but they looked just like the ones i previously posted.
  15. Thanks. Someone local recommended a company called Superior Touch Up. They are mobile and come to you which is great. Waiting to hear back from them.
  16. what can you tell me about this Dr Colorchip? Never heard of them before today.
  17. I don't care for Tundras but I love that color esecially with all the black accents.
  18. would that be visible after? smooth polish by machine with what? if there is anyone in the north dallas area that knows what they are doing here and would assist me i'd make it worth your while somehow.
  19. yeah no hail here either. i thought i was so slick in getting the truck to fit with just a 1/2 inch to spare. pissed me off when i saw the scratch. and i don't' want to get use to it.
  20. This may not be the correct spot to post this but I figured the people who know the most about this may read this part of the forum. In my effort to keep my truck from getting pounded with hail last night I managed to squeeze it in the garage. I literally had the front license plate against the front wall and i had less than 1/2 inch for the garage door to clear the rear bumper. In my effort to get it right up against the wall I neglected to notice that my hood was going to just barely come into contact with a metal wire basket on the front wall I store some car washing supplies in. I ended up with this scratch. What can be done? I hate having a scratch, especially on a brand new truck.
