Whoa nice work.

Paint sealant would be a better option as far as protection goes

This would be a perfect addition to the Don't Dos of Detailing thread....
Its in there. Because I did the same thing to a truck.

I have the standard. It’s ok and works well. But it feels cheap. The part where the sprayer connects to the actual foam gun. If you can swing it, I’d go with the premium gun.

So many nice cars down here. I’m shocked at how many of these freshly restored cars have rotary swirls all over them.

I'll give that a go this weekend - I'm working on my mum's 2003 Ford Focus
Mid youbhave Adam’s Finishing polish it works great. Long open time and still had enough bite to take out light swirls and scratches. Smells good too.

Yea I figured a good scrub happened lol. I don't know much about the undercarriage spray. Is its longevity pretty good? As good as that wheel well looks I wonder if it would be good as an under hood application as opposed to VRT. I like a little more shine than VRT gives. Probably could search for this answer but I am being lazy.
It has been pretty durable for me, and doesn’t seem to attract dust very much. Idk about in the engine bay though. Worth a try I guess lol

Wow thats impressive. Almost wish my car wasn't so low so I could use some. LOL
Of course I had to scrub a lot as well haha. Spayed it on lightly and some how still used too much. Wiped it down to even it out. Then waited about 30 minutes and wiped it down again to give it an even and uniform look.

A harder coating isn’t as flexible. That being said, 9H is somewhat of the industry standard for paint coatings. The harder layer offers increased scratch resistance, but not impossible to damage (regardless of what some videos show).
Commonly on the harder coatings they are all topped with other products...sometimes a spray, sometimes another form of coating.
Coatings are not inherently difficult to work with, they’re simply less forgiving to errors and require more attention to detail in the prep process since everything about the prep becomes part of the semi permanent final product.
Maybe sometime soon I’ll do a write up on our entire process that we use regardless of the coating we are installing?
I’d read that. I already know but, I still like to hear and see others do it. Gives me different ideas and things to think about.

If its yours, Dr. ColorChip would finish that off perfectly. Its great stuff for filling.
It’s my sisters car. But I would like to try that stuff out.

Still, great job. What products did u use?
2k then 3k grit sand paper. Adam’s mini swirl killer. Non Adam’s pads and compounds and polishes.
