Road salt can pit the chrome pretty badly. If you can't afford or don't want to buy a set of winter wheels, try and keep a good coat of wax on the wheels at the very least. If possible, once you've had it in the salt, try and rinse it off and dry the wheels asap.

Swirl and Haze and Revive are my two favorite products on the black. I've been happy with the results so far, but if you say the new Swirl and Haze will be better, I'll take your word on it. My first time at Corvettes at Carlisle. Don't remember how many years ago it was, but the Adam's team was going around handing out sample bottles of the detail spray and they offered to do my hood. I was using Meguiars at the time. Once they did my hood and told me what else to try, I was sold. The only thing I haven't tried is the machine polishes because I still do it by hand........don't own a PC.

There's a thought. Send the new stuff to all your moderators so we can try it and give first hand experience.

Man, that 442 brings back some memories. When I was 22, I bought a new Chevelle SS 454 and my buddy bought a 442. We had a blast drag racing on city streets and peeling out at stoplights side by side. Nice car! And you've had it since high school? Looks great!

I've waxed the car when it's in the 30's before, but inside the garage (unheated). It's a bit harder to wipe down, but it can be done.

I'd love to see something like this available to buy that would fit our buckets with the rollers. Sell it as an extra, by itself without the bucket for those of us who have the bucket and dolly. The Adam's bucket could fit inside, then we could put it on the wheels and have all of our detail products readily available once we wash the car in our garage or driveway. A lot less leg work back and forth to the garage. I'd make the pockets mesh though because the water will slop out, but I like that idea. You could also make the whole set available as an option ..... the bucket, dolly, dirt guard, and caddy. This wouldn't replace the bag, but be seperate. Oh, and make the pockets to fit the 16 oz. bottles please.
