  2. You foot the bill for hotel, food, and gas and I'll drive down there and park beside him for pictures to compare.
  3. That sounds like a good product to try. Never heard of it. Thanks for the tip.
  4. Red sure looks good shiny. Welcome to the forum!
  5. Welcome!! You have some very nice rides!
  6. I've tried the Griots. I found that it really streaks and smears. I'll stick with the Adam's detail spray. Even when I drive the three hours to Carlisle, all I need is the detail spray and a clean micro and I'm good to go. Bugs.............all gone.
  7. Nice fall pics and a beautifully detailed beamer. Welcome to the forum!
  8. I actually carry a swiffer cloth for a quick dusting on the dash.
  9. Very nice truck! Welcome to the forum!
  10. Here ya go. I overexposed the pics so you could see detail. It's black canvas with a solid bottom. There is a shoulder strap, but I don't use one so I took it off. Two pockets in the front..........one is big enough for pads (or small Adam's bottles) and two mesh side pockets with zippers. It's pretty empty right now because I put most of the stuff away for the winter, but you get the idea. I think it measures 14" wide, 10" front to back, and 10 or 12" deep. 11. Sounds like you and your dad have a very special relationship. It's great when fathers and sons share a hobby like cars. I'm the youngest of four sons, (18 years difference and the two oldest have both passed) but ever since I was a kid my dad and two oldest brothers always bought new cars every three years. So there were tons of cars (almost all Chevy's) in and out of the driveway through the years. And the five of us guys were always out there with the hood up and hands in our pockets checking out the motors. Became a family joke after a while. Unfortunately, my dad and brothers have been gone for quite a few years now, but I still have all those memories. Enjoy making memories with your dad (and the Corvette).

    Wow! That was quick!
  13. Geez, you guys are embarassing. You're so damn'd organized! Mine get shoved in a box till spring. And the rest of my stuff is in a tub in the basement (except for what I need during the winter for my daily driver).
  14. That leaves me out. I'm the guy who's always asking others for a favor.
  15. That's a great story Adam. Hope your dad is still around and that you'll get to take him for a ride in it once it's done. Keep us posted.
