  1. I should've added that...they did at least make it right with a refund and even free replacement to cover it...a rock toupe, of sorts! ?. Still had to rent a truck to haul it and spend the extra time. Now, I've found I don't have quite enough to cover it completely so will head back soon, though buckets will probably do it, not truck loads.
  2. If those are the UNopened ones, how many opened do you have?!
  3. Looks like clear coat failure to me. Running your hand over it won't tell you that as it could still feel smooth, in my experience. If indeed it is, taking a polisher to it will only make matters worse, and only a repaint will fix it. I'll wait to see what others think. Adding @shane@detailedreflections, @mc2hill, @TheWolf to get their inputs...
  4. I shoveled, lugged and spread about 2 tons of 3/4-1.5" rock. To make matters worse, it was a duplication of effort because the rock company sold me the wrong color the first go round. Took a sample and everything. It wasn't noticeable because the rock was dusty. Well, when water hit it, it was obvious. I was not a happy camper.
  5. He's adorable! I'd better not let my girls see this ?.
  6. Yes, he does. And a seriously awesome (and symmetric!) garage!
  7. First, welcome! If you havent looked into them, Adam's Waterless Wash and Rinseless Wash are perfect for your situation. Don't forget the towels! You can also dilute RW 16:1 for a waterless wash-like solution at a much more economical price point. But it doesn't smell as good as the WW, IMO. Where you at in WV? I was born and raised there. Be sure to post an intro in the new member forum so we can all welcome you properly! Especially Mountaineers!!
  8. It feels like a giant Double Soft Towel. ??
  9. You'd have A LOT of friends here in CO with that Broncos themed collection.
  10. Detail Spray for me. That and a Double Soft towel. As @rseward says, keeps the prints away for a while, too.
  11. Don't know for sure, but they're always tinkering with formulas, scents, etc. Being bottled at a different time could certainly have this result.
  12. Well that's gonna be a chore! But I'm sure your mom will be really happy when you get done...and probably make you your favorite dinner ?. @shane@detailedreflections works with the PPF a lot, so maybe he can chime in for possible tips on the clear bra.
  13. Another day in the life of Adam's job security.
  14. No argument they are different products families. But so are wax and sealants and we layer those, too. Ironically, when I was there, I talked to the Shine Stop (Tyler and Eddie), Matt and Tyler, and they all told me the products could be layered as I said above. Sounds like differences in opinions. Interesting.
  15. Anyone's, huh, Tim?! ? You live just up the road......... ?
  16. No issues at all using both W&W and the HGG together, so your choice of when to use one or both. Best way to clean is immediately after use with the MRB, warm cycle, extra rinse (if available), and HGG towels by themselves. I prefer to use the grey borderless vs. single soft, as you may get some staining on the white. If your towel becomes saturated, just switch to a new wet towel. You're probably using too much product...I start with the hood, 5-6 sprays, then it should only take a couple sprays or so per panel as you work your way around the car.
  17. That big of a truck and 8.5 hrs later, just be happy it wasn't black!
