  1. That's one of the funniest exchanges I've read on here. Simply hilarious!
  2. Physics still applies. Oh, wait. You're 14, Nathan. Have you even studied that yet?! Um..it'll work.
  3. It removes that incessant haze that appears seemingly out of nowhere. See this thread for more... http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/31733-remove-haze-from-the-inside-of-the-windows/ and this one (which you nearly copied word for word on the title )... http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/32294-brilliant-glaze-on-inside-of-windshield/
  4. May as well he the 10" wash pad then, too. What the heck.
  5. Welcome to the next stage of the addiction, Chris! Nice to have another namesake aboard!
  6. Welcome to the next stage of the addiction, Tony!
  7. Sorry, I don't use the LIC so can't offer insight. To clarify my recommendations on the kits, it's not that they're winter kits, but rather offer a lot of the essentials you can use year-round for a great price. The name shouldn't scare you away. Some thoughts I'd offer on your current list (since kits don't seem to be what you are after right now ): - Go with 1 WC, for now. It's extremely effective, but you may not need it as often as you'd think. Once mine were clean, I found using diluted shampoo worked just fine, or may be some APC. - Go with 1 HGG, for now. You'll only need it about every 4-6 washes or so, so maybe invest in another product to test it out - Pick up some LC and ID. Either of those might help clean up that denim, but if not, they certainly won't hurt and are both awesome products (least aggressive first applies to the inside, too)
  8. x2 for pool/sheet rinsing. Works like a charm. Add in DS as a drying aid with either of the drying towels and you should be all set.
  9. Welcome to the addiction, Wun! Since you keep the car outside, and it sounds like a daily driver, getting sealant on it will pay dividends. With the understanding you shouldn't be surprised to eventually buy everything on the site, here are some of my recommendations based on your request, just to get you started: - Kits: -- Winter Washing kit, http://adamspolishes.com/shop/kits/washing-cleaning/adam-s-winter-washing-detail-kit.html(it's currently on sale, and to add an additional 15% off with the current site sale...it's a steal!) -- Adam's Can't Touch This Winter kit, http://adamspolishes.com/shop/kits/waxing-glazing-kits/adam-s-cant-touch-this-winter-kit.html(it's also currently on sale, and to add an additional 15% off with the current site sale, it's a steal, as well) -- Paint Sealant kit, http://adamspolishes.com/shop/kits/waxing-glazing-kits/adam-s-basic-liquid-paint-sealant-kit.html -- Mystery Boxes; they aren't kits, per se, but they are a great way to get your collection started -- Take a look at the Essentials and Daily Driver kits, too, for additional items you could add, such as clay - Nice-to-haves: -- Machine polisher and pads (these are almost in the must-have arena) -- Adam's Great White towel, or the new plush one (must-haves?) -- Extras of the SST and/or DST (also basically must-haves) -- Sidekick blaster Advice: - Start with the least aggressive method first - Don't polish angry - Watch all Adam's videos you can find, twice - Ask questions on here - Above all, have fun! Applying what you learn and making your own path to the shine is what makes this all worth it, in my opinion Many, many other items to consider. And I didn't even talk about the interior (LC and ID are awesome). I'm sure others will weigh in with their preferences, so be prepared to invest and readdress missing items later. Good luck!
  10. Agreed with both Rich and Nathan. I should probably clarify a bit, though, since they offer good advice. The dry application method will work if you don't want to bother getting the car wet again, regardless of how (sprayer, hose, licking the car ). It you want to get it wet again first, Rich and Nathan are spot on. Either way, you'll need another dry towel to dry after applying the HGG.
  11. There's a wet and dry method to applying the HGG. Dry application is what you're basically asking about. You start with a dry car, wet a towel, spray the HGG into the towel, and wipe directly onto the car. It works, but you may find you'll use a lot more product. P.S. Welcome to the addiction! Be sure to go introduce yourself in the new member forum.
  12. And I'd offer that's what actually makes Adam's special. That new drying towel looks incredible! Adding that to my next orded, I think.
  13. Gotcha. Hve you checked the Garage Sale Forum? There may be an option or two over there for a used polsihser. Just a thought.
  14. To maybe save others who don't click the link the same questions, and because Dan is swamped and may have overlooked adding a few details: Location: Brighton, MI Date: Sat, April 29, 2017 Time: 9:00am, Adam's clinic; 10:00am, Open House Cost: Donations at the door Looks like a great event. What an awesome collection of cars, too.
  15. You missed a spot. Oh, wait, that's just dirt in your driveway. Couldn't tell the difference with all that shiny reflection!
  16. Which polisher are you getting? As for the subscription, it you mean following this topic...top right corner of the page, click on "Follow this topic," and set your notification preferences.
  17. Seemingly more than a 53-man NFL roster. But personally, I like the abundance of selection. I'm sure it's Adam's way of appealing to a broad audience, all of which have different budgets, methods, etc., yet all with a common purpose...SHINE!
  18. Welcome to the next stage of the addiction, Daniel!
  19. Welcome to the addiction, Jeff! Being relatively new to the detailing world, the PC7424 was and is my first/only polisher. Maybe someday I'll make the next step to the SK. Just my two shiny pennies.
