  1. To clarify, diluted RW and WW are not exactly the same (different formulas), but they are very similar. They're both meant to provide alternate ways to wash a car without pulling out all the stops, for whatever reason you don't want to or can't do. WW is just that...you can clean a car that has light dust or dirt, fingerprints, etc., with just the bottle of product and some WW towels - no water needed. RW is meant for dirtier cars (not caked on stuff, though), but you'll need a couple ounces of product, a bucket of water, and several DST (preferred). I want to say the RW has more shine enhancing properties than WW, but I'll need someone else to chime in to clarify. Diluting the RW provides a more economical approach than does the WW. As for the scent, I prefer the WW quite a bit more. Bottom line, I'd recommend you buy a bottle of RW, try it out, and decide for yourself if both should be in your arsenal. Adam's offers a 110% guarantee, so you don't have anything to lose. For me, I like having them both. Edit: changed WW to RW in the last paragraph - reread your post and realized you already have the WW! Oops.
  2. I'm thinking you treat it similar to a daily driver for your approach. So, in my opnion, the fastest solution is probably VRT the trim and tires, UCS under the body (not what is normally done for a car, but the 4-wheeler is smaller and easier to work with), and PS on the body. Don't know about the seat, but maybe ID or LC. Then, use HGG or Ceramic Boost every so often to keep protection going. All of these products should be fine on the plastics, since they work more than perfect on a car's. Post some pics when done!
  3. We may have walked right past each other! I'm here in the Springs, too, by the way.
  4. Yep, sure do! It probably won't be the last time that happens, either. Welcome to the addiction!
  5. Was fortunate to already get a couple of those. They're pretty sweet!
  6. Now you're just rubbing it in!
  7. You ever try sheet/pool rinsing, Jacob? Might save you some time, especially since the Sidekick, while it will work, isn't really built for a full dry.
  8. I wait until I'm done drying the car, then break out the Sidekick. Sometimes I pull in the garage, sometimes not. Adam demoed using the Sidekick during the clinic last weekend, with a dark colored car in direct sunlight on a warm day. To reduce the chance of spots in those conditions, he didn't spray the car with any water until after foaming the car with the Foam Gun - the soap dried on the car while he talked - and washing with the 2-bucket method using the wash sponge and merino wash mitt. Finally, he rinsed the car...mentioning the "race against time" that ensued against spotting...then applied HGG (drying during that process). Then, finally, he used the Sidekick and new MF drying towel for touch-up. For what it's worth, the car was outside the entire time.
  9. Welcome to the next stage of the addiction, Ash!
  10. Got the privilege to see both of those at last week's clinic (and maybe a few other things that I can neither confirm nor deny knowledge of ). Stay tuned! The Matte Detailer smells awesome, by the way...
  11. Eleme, er, Middle School must be out in MN.
  12. Great to have you on here, too, Larry, but so as not to hijack Kerwin's thread, I recommend you move this question either to a PM with Nathan and/or the General Detailing or Washing/Drying thread. Back to Kerwin...which part of CO are you from?
  13. I have a new bottle of the "old" BW, willing to work with you on shipping. Got it in a bit of a trade mix-up. PM me if interested. Edit: Gone. Thanks, Ed (avimore)!
  14. Welcome, Kerwin! What part of CO? Were you at the clinic this past weekend?
  15. Thanks for a great day, team Adam's! See here for more thoughts and pictures.
  16. Good point, Steve. And Joe, ironically, they were making t-shirts there on spot...in the warehouse pic, the funky looking machine on the left that looks like an antenna is the screen printer (I don't know the guy in the red shorts ). Sorry, man, I'd have picked one up for you had I known you wanted one. ************ First, thanks to Adam and the entire Adam's team for a really fun and informative day. You have a top notch organization, and it was exciting to see first-hand what makes your company so special. For the readers, if you haven't visited the HQ yet, you owe it to yourself to do so if you ever get the opportunity. Also, I'd like to give a special thanks to Matt for taking the time to give me personal tour and a look behind the scenes, Dan for his insights to take my detailing to the next level (I really look forward to trying the Ceramic Boost), Ryan for an enjoyable talk in your office (and thanks for remembering me), Joe for explaining the site's picture/video process, Eric for coming all the way from Cincy to talk and also fill my order , Kourtney for taking my money , and some Adam's dealers (Mike and Norm) for taking a few minutes to just chat and enjoy the day. Here's a quick write-up with some pictures: The clinic began with cars arriving (see Steve's pics above), Adam running around talking with a lot of us, and final preparations by the staff. Some food and drinks were laid out, as well. As you could probably guess, the clinic had two phases, both taught by Adam: 1) car wash, and 2) paint correction. The demos mainly consisted of a 2-bucket wash with Foam Gun, sealant process with HGG, paint correction with the SK, and even some ceramic trim coating. Those were certainly a couple of lucky owners! One thing that really stuck out to me was seeing lots of the staff's families drop by to also enjoy the event. Saw lots of kids walking around like they own the place...and they probably do! Adam has built an awesome work environment and what looks like a true family with his staff. At the end, even after the clinic and open house "officially" concluded, Adam and his staff stuck around for help with anyone's car that needed or asked for it. That was awesome. Finally, here are a few more pics to add to Steve's lineup... My garage and mech room are starting to look like this. But not quite this.
  17. Welcome to the addiction, Frederic!
  18. Welcome to the addiction, Allyn! Your girls have you a really great start. P.S. I'll tell you the same I do for many new members in your area of the country...please, no pics of Portillo's or Lou Malnati's. It induces uncontrollable drooling for me!
  19. APC MRB CS GC TRC DS would probably make the list if I didn't already have a few 16oz bottles.
  20. Agreed with your thoughts on the Rinseless process, Dustin. And I wouldn't worry too much about how much RW you're using. I have it on pretty good authority there might just be an Adam's box at the HQ with your name on it.
