  1. Maybe! Unless that "shine" is actually steel threads.
  2. That a new, unreleased version of the In & Out spray, Joe? But all these window posts do have me thinking to give them a try next time.
  3. Sweet! Met my quota for the week! Not that I expected you to, but did you by chance ask if the bristle pattern is the same on the long and short versions? As I tried to explain above, the groupings of bristles might be different, potentially making cutting them not an optimal fix.
  4. Hmm. Have you checked your cabin filter, Dustin? I imagine you're using the A/C more often now in the heat (it was in the 50s here today, by the way), which may be churning more air through your system than you did during the "winter" there in FL. Any off gassing in the car mixed with dirty air might be contributing to the increased haze. Just a thought.
  5. That's not crazy. That's Adam's Addiction personified!!!
  6. You brought TRC to work?! That's dedication! And for the BG on the windshield...yes...do it! Yesterday!!!
  7. Feel free to head about 1000 miles northwest!
  8. Good work! Throw some VRT on that and it might help even more.
  9. And a dolphin jumping out of the back, too!
  10. I guess, theoretically, you could. What I dont know is if the bristle pattern/spacing is the same on the long bristle vs. short bristle brush. They're fairly spread out on the long version, so shortening them may create unintended gaps. But if you're going to try, please post your findings and pics here!
  11. All that work did pay off. They look great, Nick. I recommend you move your question and pics over to the Wheels and Tires thread, where you'll likely get a faster response. Briefly, though, I make one, two at most, passes on each tire with TRC and the tire brush. VRT is water soluable, so you may have cleaned way more than you had to.
  12. First, welcome to the addiction, Mike! Be sure to go post an intro in the New Member Check-in thread... As for BG on the windshield...best...product...hack...EVER! In the above video, Adam says he applies it about twice a year. But as with most products, your mileage will vary. It doesn't take much at all to do the interior of the windshield, so when the haze comes back, simply reapply it. What I can promise, though, is the sooner you do it, the happier you'll be!
  13. Hit post too soon...some more: A "Behind the Scenes" Series - A Day (or Week?!) in the Life at Adam's. Show us what it's like to work there. All because your culture is what makes you awesome! - Updated bottling, packaging, packing and shipping video - What goes into creating Mystery Boxes/Buckets? (this could answer A LOT of questions!) How To's - How to Get "Car Show Ready" - Product Hacks. Demo a collection of alternate uses for a variety of products. BG on the interior of the windshield is a perfect example (and my favorite hack to date!) Other - Updated bloopers! Will post others if ideas come to me. Thanks for the consideration!
  14. Great ideas, Phil! +1 for engine bay. Some other ideas: - Cleaning cloth seats. I could only find ones for leather interior and/or carpet mats, but nothing for cloth seats. - Updated headlight restoration
  15. Yep, that's the one. It has already been released. Similar to the red tire brush from before, just shorter bristles.
  16. FP - coconut Red CS - cherry GS - alcohol (not the yummy kind ) Odor Neutralizer - familiar, but can't quite place it...anyone????? And yes, I mean straight from the bottle, not post-application when there's eventually "no" smell!
  17. I also use them for an alcohol wipe-down to remove polish residue prior to PS application.
  18. Happy to hear your processes are starting to take shape, and more so that the results are awesome (not surprised!). Couple suggestions: While it certainly doesn't hurt, if you need to save a little time in the future, for a daily driver, there's no real need to dry the car after you SW. Clay can be used on a wet vehicle along with the DS (see Adam's Daily Driver Detail video, around the 11:15 mark - but watch the whole thing). If yours is a garage queen, drying it makes sense. HGG should only be needed about every 3-6 washes, or so. I know it smells awesome, but save a little product. It'll last, and you can get your fix by simply opening the bottle! Can't speak to how often to apply Americana, but I'm sure it looks great on your car. For water spot removal, what have you tried? DS and/or WW could be a solution. For more info, see here: http://adamspolishes.com/how-to-remove-water-spots To cut down on the possibility of water spots in the future, here are some basic tips: 1) Don't apply water to the entire car until it's absolutely necessary. While you may have to blast off some caked on stuff, the rest of the car can wait. In other words, after the wheels and exhaust tips are done, then foam down the car with a FG or FC (if available...and if not, get one!), wash it with a wash sponge/pad/mitt, and then...finally...rinse the entire car off. The "rinse cycle" should be the first water applied to the entire car. After the rinse, the clock starts to dry it. 2) Wash the side in the sun first. Doing so will allow the pH neutral soap to dry on the car first vs. the water. 3) Apply DS as a drying aid, right after you rinse. 4) Get a Sidekick and a new ultra plush drying towel. Both will aid significantly in your fight against water spots! Now, let's see some pics of the sealed up blue beauty!
  19. I think a pretty common themed answer you'll get is "it depends." With that said, my recommendation, since results will likely vary between your ride and others' - is to apply HGG on 2 wheels (opposite sides) and Ceramic Boost on the other 2. Then, after maybe a month or so, compare the results side-by-side for what worked best for you and your driving conditions, habits, etc.. Besides, having both products in your arsenal won't hurt anything...well, except maybe your bank account! Don't forget to post your findings here!
  20. 4 orders total...or 4th today?! Either way, welcome to the addiction, Mike!
  21. Good luck with your new toys! Everything I've read on the SK indicates it's an awesome machine. And I think the orange Sidekicks are gone...honestly, I think I got one of, if not the, last one (disappeared off the site around the exact time mine was ordered, sorry!)...but you can always call the HQ to see if one is laying around the warehouse. And you're welcome!
  22. This may be a simple miscommunication. While the site says "no gloss enhancers," Dan T. overruled that in his post you referenced above (and the portion in bold corrected a post I made ) and I think I've read similar posts from him other places. If it's not "wax" added to the WW, maybe another product or chemical is included for "very little shine enhcancement." Dan T....
  23. Didn't you already say you'd get one?! Yes, I guess you could dry the car, but it's not the recommended purpose (meant more for cracks, crevices and tires). If trying the whole car is what you're after, I think many on here would instead recommend either the Air Force or Master Blaster. For me, I have the GWT and new plush towel (just got it, though, so haven't tried it yet), and the Sidekick. That combo works perfectly for me.
