  1. It's already out. Don't think they've updated the website yet, though. But when you order a tire brush, I think you'll get the one with shorter bristles now instead.
  2. Welcome to the addiction, Adan! Marine, by chance? If so...Go Air Force, Sink Navy!
  3. ^^^ What he said. LOVE red calipers! But must admit, at first glance, thought you had them on the grill. I thought, what the !%×#÷?!
  4. Some more thoughts, if I may... I asked this very question about dropping the clay at the recent clinic. With the new Visco clay, Adam said it's not necessarily true (anymore) to toss it if it falls. Check it, and use common sense, was basically his answer. Also, it's time to replace it when it gets tacky or swollen with DS and contamination. Remember, all that gunk is getting absorbed in the bar, so it will "grow" over time. Always store it in the jar, and it'll last you quite a while.
  5. Welcome to the addiction, Tyler! Nice ride. Love the color.
  6. While I struggled with it, too, I finally figured out the difference is in the name... Waterless Wash requires no water. Just use the product straight out of the bottle and some WW towels and you're all set. Used for light dust and dirt, as well as fingerprints. Some very minor shine added. (P.S. WW smells amazing ) Rinseless Wash requires a large bucket of water and several Double Soft Towels. Then, you can go to town, without the need to rinse after you wash the car. Perfect for a dirtier vehicle, but not the caked on stuff (you'll need to get it off the car somehow...maybe with a hose or rinse at a local self serve car wash). This seems to have more shine enhancers than the WW. As Dustin said, diluting the RW creates a waterless wash-like solution, and at a much more economical price point. About 2-3oz added to water in the 32oz spray bottle works great. But, again, you lose the smell of the WW (Rinsless smells good, too, but not the same).
  7. Did you mean Glass Boost? Maybe both? There's a difference, so be mindful when you place your order.
  8. Depends on what effects you're after...longest protection, most shine, etc.. And is it a daily or garage queen? Since I only have daily drivers, I go PS, HGG every 4 or so washes, and BG when the mood strikes me. Product application in that order. I'm also considering adding W&W to my routine. I don't use any of the waxes, though, so I'll defer to others that may use all four of your products. Be sure to watch the videos (twice!) on the Adam's site, http://adamspolishes.com/video, and on YouTube, as they could help answer some questions, too. By the way, the new acronym for PS is "P S" (no space), which will automatically revert to the full name. "Liquid" is not in the product title anymore. See this thread for more acronyms: http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/31826-acronym-expansion/.
  9. Dropped my Foam Gun. Pouted. Crying myself to sleep.
  10. Or move the car forward 5ft forward. Save the money for more Adam's stuff. P.S. Jim, I laugh because I can totally relate!
  11. Being from WV, I've been accused of one leg being shorter than the other. You know, from "walking on hills and mountains" in my formative years and what not. So I guess I can relate. Still, welcome, Scott!
  12. Welcome to the addiction, Scott! Yes, the Adam's "rabbit hole" runs long and deep, but you're in the right place for a map. Some great info and even better people on here. Nice ride, by the way. But are all CA homes built at an angle like that?!
  13. Of course. Where else would blasts of warm air come from?! Oh, wait... Keep the stories/lessons coming. Pics welcome, too!
  14. Admit it. Despite how easy Adam's makes it, whether you've been detailing for days or years, we've all made a mistake or two along the way. It comes with the territory. So I figured, while many threads on here contain solid advice of "How To's" and "To Do's," I thought it'd be fun to have a thread dedicated to our "Don't Do's." A catalog of lessons learned, if you will. Those things we did that we still scratch our heads over. Those little golden nuggets you want to share a laugh with over a "virtual" beverage of choice with fellow detailers. Now, this sort of thread is liable to stall after my post, or go on for a while, so I'll start and we'll see what happens....... I love my Sidekick, as I proclaimed here and other threads across the forum. Awesome tool, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. When I first got it, though, I was a little apprehensive about its performance. Sure, the air was blowing like crazy, as advertised, but I had to get pretty close to the car for it to be effective. I was also very deliberate, even careful, while doing so. Still, I wasn't getting good results, and I even nicked one of my rims. That is, until I came across and actually "studied" the picture of it on the Adam's site... Pretty straightforward tool, right? The Sidekick itself, all 1.3hp of warm, filtered air. The long 12' extension cord. The comfort grip handle. The Adam's logo. The 2 nozzles...wait, what? See those black things? The rubberized cone and fan shaped nozzles, meant to focus the air stream and protect your car? Yeah, I forgot to install them. For...let's just say, a while...I was using the Sidekick with a small, sharp metal nub as my blower. There's a reason they're in the box. Don't forget the nozzle!
  15. Well, well. Thanks, Joe. I think. This thread will either be awesome...or the bane of my existence! P.S. Yes, I caught the tag in the header. Nice. And yes, I am!
  16. Bob's latest selfie... P.S. Get yourself a polisher. Yesterday!

    Gum on pants

Not a product I would've even thought to try. Thanks for info!
  18. Those look great, John! I haven't made the jump to the Metal Polishes yet, so I have a question about the abrasive product you used because I've always heard to use 0000 steel wool, nothing else unless I wanted to induce lots of scratches. What's the difference between using 2000 or 3000 grit sandpaper instead?
  19. Looks great, Eric! I just bought some and plan to use it in an upcoming detail. I hope to get the same type of results!
  20. Just the areas you can reach with the towels is fine, no need to remove the wheels. And if you don't already have it, get yourself a wheel woolie and/or turbo stick to clean the drum portion.
  21. Just don't goose him with a blast of air from it. You're liable to blow his eyeballs out.
  22. Looks good, Nick! I must add, though, VRT doesn't usually sling. A couple things may cause it, though, like an unclean surface (are you using APC or TRC?) or using too much product. What's your process?
