  1. Probably a Scion reman engine, dealers usually won't rebuild it themselves. Just follow the new car break in, as in the owners manual, and then switch to your synthetic oil of choice. When I install a factory reman or new engine that is what I recommend. Just out of curiosity, why was the engine replaced?
  2. Ok, thank you. I was asking about the sidekick, I see Metro sells a hose for it. Was just looking to see if it's worth purchasing.
  3. If your only running your oil for 500 miles almost any brand name should be ok. The filter is not where you want to cheep out! The filter is going to catch all the metal shavings and bearing material that is going to be in the Engine after a rebuild, and most wear occurring in the first couple hundred miles. I've had good luck with Mobil 5000 and recently Mobil 1 oils. I always run AC Delco filters. I usually go about 5K on an oil change, oil is much better than it used to be, so I feel 3K is too soon, especially with synthetic. If in doubt you could have a oil analysis done. But if you feel better about 3K oil changes it's cheep maintenance. On the race toy we use Kendall racing oil and Wix racing filters, and both get changed after 8-10 nights of racing
  4. I haven't been able to save comments since Christmas, I use mobile, don't know if that matters.
  5. I would think if you buy the ceramic kit for trim and do the prep steps very carefully you should be ok, maybe clean the plastic twice. Or scrub the plastic with tire and rubber cleaner and then see how it looks. I'm by no means a ceramic installation expert, so just my suggestion
  6. Doors look awesome. Nice work on the floors
  7. It's easy to remove, it also prevents leaks. Left one in my rag bin and now my clean rags smell like detail spray.
  8. I've also had this happen once, makes for a pleasant surprise when an order just shows up!
  9. Welcome back. I've been told the products are better than ever!
  10. ^^ thanks, I wasn't sure on the outer edge spacing. I've got a bunch of plastic totes (6 quart) on the bottom 2 shelfs for brushes and accessories. And bigger totes (15 quart) for towels.
  11. Should definitely add some kind of protection after a strip wash. You don't have to do anything after strip wash and dry, but I would also suggest clay and paint sealer. Clay will decontaminate the surface and the sealer will last longer than wax alone.
  12. heat it up and "massage" it out from behind.
  13. What size are all your diffrent holes, i.e. 32 oz and Side kick. You have lay out specs for the holes, or did you "wing it". Looks good.
