  1. He spent a couple weeks up in Wichita, back to southern Oklahoma and back to Tulsa. He's headed back to Wichita next week.
  2. Beading on my sons El Camino about 3 weeks after applying HGG. At this moment this is the only protection on his car, no polish or wax.
  3. I think I have some of that in the garage. I'll have him try it next time he stops by.
  4. Friend of mine finally peeled off his broke vent shades on his 2004 Silverado. He got the foam part of the tape removed, but still has the black glue residue. Would it be safe just to use goof-off just to remove the residue, then put a coat of wax over that area?
  5. Sometimes black and white just make the photo!!
  6. My maple tree finally turned colors. Seemed to do it overnight.
  7. Definitely worth the 1,000+ steps up to the top....
  8. It really is amazing on the quality of today's phone cameras compared to years past. Great photos!!!
  9. No plastic, sticker is on a chrome bumper since vehicle was born back in '78. Got another week until I see it again, then I'll have to see what my son says. Sticker looks to be in decent shape, so if he wants it gone, we'll take our time.
  10. Those bugs might come off pretty easy. Wiped some bird droppings off the Charger, I've never seen dropping come off that easy.
  11. Here's a few pictures of my Thunderbird, the first two are before a rinseless wash and the last two are after with HGG. Pictures taken with my phone... I also agree that the finer mist you can spray, the better it is. However it will spread out evenly if you wipe straight across the panel.
  12. I also used it on my wife's Charger with great results. She says it makes the red a deeper red, she liked it!!! In my eyes, it seems that the car doesn't get as dusty as fast as it did. A week as gone by and it still looks spotless... We'll see what my sons El Camino looks like in another week... Going to do a rinseless wash on the Thunderbird this morning and treat it with HGG.
  13. That's a good idea!!! I so want to put my slides into the computer.
  14. got home yesterday morning, and my dog just had to save me from that big ole mean snake...
  15. GREAT..... Now I want to go back to Hawaii!!!!
  16. We'll give it a try when we get around to detailing the El Camino. In your opinion, do you think removing the decal would leave an impression on the chrome? I can't post a picture, as the vehicle is out of state for the next few weeks.
  17. Does anyone know if it's possible and the best way to remove a dealer decal that's been on a chrome bumper since 1987?
  18. That's what I hoping for. When he first bought it, he did keep it clean, polished and waxed even in the cold Virginia winter. Last summer he spent most of it in Arizona working on the restoration of President Eisenior's Air Force One. Now that he landed a new job and moved back to Oklahoma, he wants it to look good again. Once we get 2 free days, we'll work on it...
  19. Tried the HGG on my sons El Camino. He's had it for a year now, but didn't have time to take care of it this past summer, so there is no wax left on it. The HGG did make a difference on the sides but no noticeable difference on the hood or roof. The paint is smooth to the touch though, so there is some protection on it now. Picture 1 hood before wash, Picture 2 right side before wash, Picture 3 right side hood treated, left side untreated. Don't see any difference here. Picture 4 right side after treated, Picture 5 left side treated. I think it looks pretty good for having no wax on it since last winter. When he finds time, well clay it, Polish and wax it.
  20. Personally, I've never had a problem with FEDEX. With UPS and USPS I don't trust. Both of them will leave our stuff on a different street.
  21. Abandoned barn on the edge of town on a rainy, cloudy day.
  22. Thanks for setting my mind at ease. Going to try it out tomorrow.
