The spoiler on our Charger made the problem worse....

Matt has something there. Our Charger very rarely collected dirt on the bumper, until we installed the spoiler. Now, like you I can't keep the rear bumper clean.

I use two buckets I bought at my local hardware store. One red (rinse) one white (wash).

We are getting ready to fire our pay TV and convert to free HDTV. We bought an antenna and it's pulling in 32 channels, which is plenty for us. I'm looking for a recorder to be able to record shows. Does anyone have a good recommendation?

Eric, You really can't judge a manufacter by one vehicle. We have a '06 Charger, just rolled over 103,000 miles. It's only been to the dealer three times. All of them warranty work. This is our first Dodge and I really can't complain about it. I bought my '00 Ranger used with 137,000 miles on it. Right now it's close to 176,000. It almost sounds like your truck was one of those "built on a Monday, Friday, or day before/after a holiday".

I know that there are a lot of Chevy fans here, so I figure this is a good place to ask. Recently my son bought a '78 El Camino in pretty decent shape. While he was waxing it, he noticed the CONQUISTA emblem was missing from the tailgate. He seems to think it's a metal emblem to match the fender El Camino emblems. I can only find a decal for the tailgate. Is the decal correct? If so what would be the correct color for it. His car/truck is gold/cream. Love the way my ranger came out with the sealant/Americana combo, so know I want to do the Thunderbird. since it always has a nice of wax, it will need to be stripped. I know I can wipe it down with the alcohol rub, but I've read I can also add all purpose cleaner to the soap bucket. If I do this, how much APC do I add to the soap? How will the APC affect the vinyl top, it's original to the car. Thanks

Going to wash my Ranger in the morning. Planning on putting a coat of sealant on it. I do know that I'll have to wait the 12 hours or so before I wax it. Since I'll need to drive it to work (16 miles) round trip, it will get a nice coat of dew on it over night. Should I be safe just giving it a waterless wash the following morning then lay a coat of wax on it?
