  1. Yes, we have the 5.7L. Interesting article I found at Bobistheoilguy.com http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/magazine/2015/06/excessive-oil-consumption/index.htm
  2. I use 5W20 valvoline. If the store is out of it, I'll use Quaker State. I don't use the high mileage oil.
  3. Our '06 Charger using regular oil uses no oil between 5,000 mile oil changes. I tried switching to Mobil 1 for a while and it used 1.5 quarts in the same 5,000 interval. We have approximately 110,000 miles on it now.
  4. Thanks, I got it fixed. Went to cox and changed my password. Everything is fine now.
  5. That's exactly how I set the iPad up. It has been working just fine for the last several years. For some strange reason, it stopped accepting the password. Phone and computer work just fine, so it's something in the iPad. I plan on resetting the password with cox then delete and reinstall the email on my iPad.
  6. I'm using Cox Communications, phone and Internet. I've had no problems until I opened the iPad Saturday morning.
  7. Starting Saturday my iPad will not recognize the password for my email. I've gone into settings and reset the password with no help. I've also done a reboot with no help. I have no problem receiving email on the computer or phone. Any ideas short of going to Cox and totally resetting my password? Thanks

    UH OH!

    Very impressive!!!
  9. I asked my wife what she thought about a hearse. She thought it would be a good eye catching idea. She said that it would not bother her at all if some pulled up to detail her car in a hearse.
  10. I think it would would bring more attention than a van. My question is, how popular is mobile detailing? In my neck of the woods, I've seen a couple cards on the supermarket (for sale) boards. However, I haven't actually seen a mobile detailer in any neighborhood.
  11. I recently bought one of those 56 volt EGO battery operated mowers. It's has a composite deck. If I spray the underside of it with Quick Sealant, will it help prevent grass clipping from sticking, and how long can I expect it to last?
  12. Same thing here, my Thunderbird only gets the waterless or rinseless washes. Just depends on how much dust it has on it. I think to day will be a waterless wash, very little dust on it....
  13. I'll have to look into the DuPont Corian.
  14. For those of us that live driving distance of Route 66, the Great Race is following Route 66. On June21st, they will stop in Claremore, Ok for lunch then head to Oklahoma City for the night. http://www.greatrace.com Link to the cities they will be at http://www.greatrace.com/2015-cities
  15. Thanks for all the input. I just need to explain to my wife.
  16. Chris, Thanks for your input. Our cabinets are in good shape, and we don't plan on refinishing them. We really just want to do the countertops/backsplash. The story is: Disposal burned up and need to change it. As long as that needs to be done, we figured to replace the sink (it needs it). If we replace the sink, we might as well upgrade the look of the countertops... So a $100 fix will cost quite a bit more....
  17. We are in the very early stage of planning our kitchen update. We found a company Granite Transformations does countertops and cabinet resurfacing. After watching several you tube videos, I'm very curious about them. Their countertops are made in Florida using granite, glass and a resin. Their made to slip over your existing countertops giving the look of granite. Just wondering if anyone here has used/heard of them. If so what is your opinion of them? I'm finding both bad and outstanding reviews on the Internet. This is their web site http://www.granitetransformations.com
  18. I just use VRT on My wife's Charger stripes.
  19. Isn't that THREE words? :D There is a 72/73 Mustang living outside in my neighborhood with a cover on it. When ever I walk past it the wind is whipping the cover around (mainly around the mirrors and under the front/rear bumpers) like Chris mentioned. It seems to be holding up the the Oklahoma weather pretty good for the last couple years. If you want next time I walk past it, I can stop by and see what cover they have.
