  1. Finished the fuel tank on my sons left hand wing. We're shooting for the end of summer to finish, then we start all over on the right wing...
  2. I have a Nikon D5100. Probably more than what your needing/wanting, but it's a good beginning camera. Works great as a point and shoot and allows you to expand and experiment.
  3. I haven't had a chance to try it, but JL's Barbecue in Pryor is supposed to be very good. I do enjoy a burger and a beer at the Bricktown Brewery in Owasso every now and then.
  4. Car looks AMAZING!!!! Don't see many yellow ones in my part of the country...
  5. Worked on my sons airplane (RV-7), we got his left fuel tank 98% complete. Another 4 months or so, he should have a complete wing.
  6. Love those '70's Chevy trucks. We needs to see more pictures!!
  7. Bill, how long did you have to wait for that bird? Great shots!!!
  8. Those were my first thoughts also. Amazing how little damage was done to the passenger compartment. Second thought was, how in the world what kind of story did the employee spin....
  9. Thanks for the tips. I'll give it a whirl in the next couple of days.
  10. My wife brought home a couple old(vintage) pennants. One has mold damage. Will All Purpose Cleaner or Interior Cleaner get it out, or make it less noticeable?
  11. That is strange. Maybe they are trying to skirt snow storms???
  12. Thanks, I'll pass this along to him for the next time we work on it.
  13. Is it possible for tree sap to be on the car for so long that it gets baked in to the paint? Son bought an '87 Jaguar XJ6 a couple months ago. Car lived its entire life in San Antinio, TX. He brought it over this weekend for a good cleaning. After taking the clay bar to what we figured is tree sap, it got smoother, but not gone. (I forgot to take pictures). Otherwise paint is in great shape and looks to be original to the car.
  14. Looks and sounds like a gorgeous car!!!
  15. Welcome Dave, we did the tourist thing up there a few years ago. Love to see pictures of that Trans Am....
  16. Chris, lights look amazing!! I can see your idea working, but my question is; How many people out really care about yellowed lights? Where I live/work, I see plenty of cars with lights so bad it amazing they can see. The sad part is that many keep the car clean but don't pay attention the the lights. Maybe making a small poster or something showing the difference between clean and dirty lights can help. Once you get started, word of mouth would be a big help also.
  17. Looks like a very nice peaceful lake!!! Great pictures.
  18. Will the orange pad and correcting polish work with a battery operated drill? I'd love to get the fine scratches out of my Thunderbird's windshield.
  19. I use it on the trim on my Ranger and the vinyl stripes on the Charger. Always wipe it down after application, and don't have a problem with it running. When I use it on tires I wipe it down because I don't care for shines tires, just clean natural looking rubber.
  20. After all those trips I took down Route 66 between Tulsa and Oklahoma City, I didn't know the road split like that. Looks like a road trip in the spring... Some of my Route 66 pictures from the Random Photography thread. These are between Tulsa and Vinita http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/28879-random-photography-thread/?p=464774
