  1. Just locked in my order. Grabbed quite a list of things that were waiting in my cart along with the Pumpkin Spice Detail Spray. Paid the extra $8 for expedited shipping. I should have everything by the weekend.
  2. Thanks Chris. Much appreciated. I just ordered some Brilliant Glaze and wanted to make sure I could use the grey applicators I got in my last Mystery Box.
  3. Yup, I saw that too, and for 5 bucks more than the other kit....I'll grab one up. Gonna get a gallon combo kit too, so I'll have 4 orange towels and 2 -16oz bottles. I like to have a 2nd bottle so I can keep 1 spare. I agree that the Mystery scent was way better than the Blueberry. I'd buy a gallon of Mystery if it was available.
  4. Quick question for the group..........is there a difference between the grey microfiber applicators and the blue ones shown with the Americana Shine kit ?
  5. I believe it hasn't been released yet, so it is showing up on the website as out of stock. Probably will be released in a few minutes.
  6. Welcome Josh. There are quite a few Adam's Polishes Shine Addicts here, so you're in good company !
  7. Welcome to the addiction, Joe. I love the 'Stang.
  8. I think the Blueberry actually smells like urinal cakes....... not that I would expect you to know what that smells like. All joking aside, it smells like high end bathroom cleaner to me. Not at all like Blueberry. I've got my cart full of other goodies just waiting to pull the trigger on the Pumpkin Spice when it's released.
  9. You may want to hit the painted surfaces with a clay bar, using detail spray as a lubricant. The clay should remove any remaining paint the same as it would remove other contaminants. I would also try full strength APC and a stiff brush on the wheel well liners. If that works, use the APC and a soft brush or wheel woollie on the plastic trim.
  10. Welcome to the forum Tony. You'll definitely want to get Ceramic Coating on that beauty as soon as you can get the paint correction done. It makes a world of difference in maintenance going forward. Also, if you have the patience and the money, Ceramic Coating for the wheels will help with the brake dust and the harsh road salt in the Winter. Good luck with the new ride.
  11. Ditto. I usually just dust off the dash and arm rests with a microfiber towel while getting gas in my daily driver. I actually use the cheap bulk towels for this purpose since there is no risk of scratching anything inside. I also keep another cheap microfiber to dry off the door panels if they get wet while getting in or out in the rain or when I have to roll down the windows in the rain.
  12. That almost appears to be a scuff on the tire, not so much a blotchy spot from the VRT not playing well with the Wash-n-Wax. I would think it would be more uniform if there was a reaction between the products.
  13. Welcome Shane. Lot's of great advice here......all you have to do is ask.
  14. I usually take advantage of Friday evening after work to clean the wheels on my vehicles. I can easily spend 20 to 30 minutes per wheel on my Charger.......lots of spokes. I'll clean one at a time and then dry completely with the Sidekick to avoid any water spots. I don't bother setting up my pressure washer for a "wheels only" wash. I also don't bother applying any tire dressing until I wash the vehicle since I foam the wheels again during the exterior wash. When I get the wheels done a day or two in advance, it allows me to focus my wash day (usually Sunday ) on the exterior paint and windows. If I do wheels and exterior in the same day, I typically spend 4 or 5 hours including set-up and clean up time.
  15. Welcome Herr Thorben. You'll definitely want to apply the ceramic coating to your wheels to cut down on the maintenance time. The brake dust will just rinse off with a strong blast from the hose once the coating is applied. Post some pictures of your Passat and keep us updated with your results.

To all those in the path of the pending hurricane..............be safe and may God watch over you and your families.
  17. Welcome to the forum Anthony.
  18. Welcome Devin ! Agreed........black vehicles are tough to keep clean. You may want to invest in the Ceramic Coating Kit and save yourself a lot of maintenance time keeping it clean. Just a suggestion. Post some pics.
  19. Welcome to the forum. Lots of great advice here from the group if and when you need it.
  20. Welcome to the forum Sean.
  21. Mom stopped by for a swim so I gave her Chevy Cruz some Adam's love.
  22. I haven't had the opportunity to smell or use the Pumpkin Detail spray yet. I've heard it's amazing. I'm definitely going to grab a bottle when it's available. Maybe I'll even get a gallon.
