  1. Welcome to the forum, Trevor. Looks like you have been buying Adams for quite a while. I spy last year's Holiday Detail sprays on the top shelf.

    Food Thread

That looks like you may have a few extra Shell steaks.
  3. The gallons are just larger size containers of the original product, they are not concentrates, so they are OK to use as-is without diluting them. With that said, there are reasons why you might want to dilute the APC and the Wheel Cleaner. The Wheel Cleaner, for example can be diluted and used to remove iron deposits from your paint before doing a full detail with clay, polish, etc. The APC can also be diluted to remove stubborn bug guts and tar from painted surfaces. If you follow this thread back from the beginning, you'll find a link to some recommended dilution ratios for some of the more common products.
  4. If you back off the cap after use, and then re-tighten, it will release the siphon created by the pump. Then wipe the excess of the tip, and it shouldn't drip while not in use.
  5. It's hard to beat H2O G&G on a white car. Ask me how I know If you have the time to first apply a layer of LPS, the G&G will certainly make it pop.
  6. Welcome aboard, Andy. Post some pics of your ride(s).
  7. There's no tuning back now Dylan. Consider yourself "addicted" just like the rest of us. It's OK, though, 'cause you're in good company
  8. Rich, Would you really trust anyone else to detail your baby
  9. Hi Dominic, it almost sounds like you may have accidentally used Strip Wash for the follow-up wash 1 week later.
  10. Come on Joe, even Scrooge came around in the end.
  11. Just remember, Santa is always watching. If you can avoid being naughty, you just might find that Master Blaster under the tree this year !
  12. Hi Shane, I have a quick question for you. How can you tell how much of the thickness measurement is actually clear coat vs. paint ? I've seen pics where others have "burned through" the clear coat down to the actual paint layer and ruined their day. So, I understand taking measurements of areas with typically less clear like the door jams, and comparing against areas to be corrected. In your example above, though, where the panel was repainted and you had a reading of 297 microns, how can you tell what portion of the thickness reading is clear coat ? Is there a simple way or is it still a gamble ?
  13. With the Holidays fast approaching, I thought it would be fun to see which (3) Adam's products everyone would put on their Christmas or Hanukkah "wish list". Your list can include something as big as a Master Blaster Revolution, or as small as an air freshener or sticker, which by the way, would make a great stocking stuffer. Your items don't necessarily have to be something you don't currently have. They can also be one of your favorite products that you are running low on, like H20 G&G, or Pumpkin Spice Detail Spray. Remember to be specific with sizes, / colors, etc, especially if you include clothing items. You never know..................one of your family or friends may just happen to log on to the forum looking for gift ideas. . Here are my top (3)...................just in case 1. Two Step Swirl Killer 15MM Advanced Kit 2. 16oz Ceramic Boost 3. 16oz Matte Protectant For our Professional Detailers that probably already have every product Adam's offers, you can list your top (3) favorite products if you'd like to join in on the fun.
  14. Welcome aboard Don. When you get a chance, post some pics of yesterday's haul, 'cause we loves us some pictures on this here forum.
  15. OK. Either way, I'll pick some up when it's available.................... just to have the Limited Edition bottle.
  16. Hi Darwin, welcome to the forum. You can use the Matte Detailer vs the regular Detail Spray since it doesn't contain that trace amount of wax and won't degrade the hydrophobic properties of the coating.
  17. With the striped paper in the background, I'm guessing that may be a hint about Peppermint scent. Time will tell...........................
  18. Welcome Jeremy. Glad to see you already use a foam cannon. You're off to a great start.
  19. Another thing to consider for the next time you apply G&G is to keep the hose handy. You can always spray down a panel if it has dried off a bit while you are working on another section of the car. As long as you hit it with G&G right away, there's no risk of water spots. Once you get the application process right, you'll change your mind about G&G. It's a great product.
  20. All the best to the Mrs. Hope she feels better real soon, Rich.
  21. Welcome Von. Glad to see you came to your senses. All kidding aside, glad to have you here.
  22. Agreed ! Just thought I would plant the seed and see if it took hold.
