Is it wrong to want carne asada for breakfast ?
  2. Since the release of the Canada DS, (just prior to 4th of July) none of the Detail Sprays I received have had the red caps. I'm also curious to know if this will be the norm moving forward. Inquiring minds..................
  3. Welcome aboard, BlackScat392. If you do use the Matte Protectant on the spoiler, be sure to use it sparingly, apply it evenly, and remove it quickly. DO NOT let it set up for more than a brief moment and you'll get the best results.
  4. Plush towel is 70 % Polyester / 30% Polyamide
  5. You may be surprised at how much may come off with bug and tar remover and a clay bar. Try using some B&T to soften the paint and then follow up with a clay bar to grab and remove it. As an alternate, you may also get some good results with the interior deep clean eraser or a Mr. Clean Eraser.
  6. The grey MF applicator is the way to go, if you're applying by hand. I like the rectangular shape. The corners help you get into odd spaces easily. Keep in mind a little goes a long way, so you'll be able to cover more area than you think. A thorough shake of the bottle, a liberal squeeze on the applicator (spread out to the edges) and you'll be able to do the entire hood, roof, or door panel and fender before reloading.
  7. Welcome aboard. . Black can be a full time job. The ceramic coating will help keep her looking great and cut down on maintenance time, for sure.
  8. Welcome aboard, Jack. Post some pics of your rides when you get a chance.
  9. Son of a gun...wouldn't you know it.......a 12 pack of towels showed up at my house today. I told you that MB was mine. I'll send you my address and we can swap things around and correct this mess. BTW, what did I get in my MB ? I (You) got 12 towels, but there was no mystery there.
  10. Gorgeous car. Welcome to the shine !
  11. I'm sure you'll get varying opinions, but the new Ceramic Wax is awesome, even on a non-coated vehicle. The shine is ridiculous and it reduces the surface tension to the point where dust has hard time sticking, plus it's supposed to outlast traditional natural waxes. My vote would be for Ceramic Wax.
  12. Nice job Ray. Try Ceramic Boost on the running boards. Apply to a MF and then spread it over the painted areas. Don't spray it directly on the running board. Remove the excess with a clean MF and buff to a nice finish.
  13. Welcome aboard, Mark. Please don't yell at us, we're a fairly nice bunch.
  14. Sorry Ian, that MB was mine and they must have shipped it to you by mistake. PM me and I'll send you the correct address. This sort of thing happens to me all the time.
  15. I'll forever go down in history as Like # 2001. Congrats on the milestone, Chris. You're definitely a big part of this forum.
  16. Welcome aboard. Nice looking ride. Feel free to ask questions, we're a pretty friendly bunch...........of coconuts
  17. ^^^ this. @falcaineer has you covered. Waterless Wash and VRT were my "go to" products this past weekend at Carlisle. My son's Challenger is ceramic coated and the Waterless Wash was the ideal pre-mix for a quick wipe down on the show field. I layered Brilliant Glaze over the CC on Thursday before we left home. For the show I wanted the benefit of a little extra shine and wasn't at all concerned that it would diminish the hydrophobic properties of the coating since the Brilliant Glaze degrades so quickly, especially in high heat and direct sunlight like we experienced during two days at the show.
  18. Welcome to the group Brandon. Consider yourself addicted. I predict by this time next year your arsenal will be substantial.
