  1. There just happens to be a forum dedicated to that specific question. Check out "Upcoming Events and Gatherings" on the home page.
  2. Welcome aboard, Pat. Nice looking Z06.
  3. Used my SK Mini with a MF cutting pad to polish away severe water spots and wiper patterns on my son's Jeep Rubicon windshield. I used a polish from another company specifically formulated for polishing glass since Adam's doesn't offer an equivalent. Sorry, no pictures. It started to rain just as I finished applying a quick coat of Adam's Glass Sealant. The SK Mini and MF cutting pad worked great for this application.
  4. I typically don't tackle more than one vehicle per day if I'm doing both interior and exterior details. Your 12 hour timeframe sounds fair for what you did. Honestly, I don't think I would have gotten both done in the same day. Maybe 1-1/2
  5. Welcome to the group, Jim. Glad you found your way to the Adam's addiction. Luv the Scatty in B5 Blue! Hope to see you at Carlisle next month.
  6. Welcome to the group, Brandon. . Be sure to post some pics of your Adam's arsenal.
  7. Today marks my 1st year anniversary ! Thanks to all who have imparted their wisdom and helped me out along the way. Hopefully I've successfully paid it forward to other new members in return.
  8. Hi Jordan, it sounds like you might just need to go over the car with a clay bar. You can use Waterless Wash, Detail Spray or even soapy wash water as your lubricant.
  9. One of the other forum members, @Hookem06 recently ordered some Matte Protectant directly from Adams. You won't find it on the website, but if you call to place your oder, they may still have some available. It's definitely worth giving them a call.
  10. Welcome to the group, Nick.
  11. Hi Nick, @falcaineer has you covered. The staining appears to be WC residue run-off from the barrel. Switch your order to use the WC first and then follow up with TRC.
  12. I would stay away from using the original WC on those if they are raw Aluminum. I believe the new ECO WC was developed for use in this situation. You'll be glad you got the Cone and Power Ball. I had a set of Alcoa wheels on a '96 F350 and the Power Ball was the ticket to keeping them like new.
  13. Welcome aboard, Ron. Luv the Hellcat. I too feel your pain keeping that black beauty clean and shiny !
  14. I believe Shane@DetailedReflections recommended the McCullough MC1275 on another post. You can grab one on Amazon for around $135.00.
  15. Clean with the Metal Polish, as before, and then hit them with steam to remove the residue from the etching. If you don't have a steamer, try using the lug nut brush while the residue is still wet. You'll want to clean the bristles each time before returning the brush to the tank, though, so you don't re-introduce any residue to parts you've already cleaned.
  16. Welcome aboard, Kevin. . Luv the Stang !
  17. Pick up some adhesive backed Velcro strips and line the inside of the large bottle holder (loop side). That should tighten it up enough for a snug fit on the standard 16oz bottles. Using the loop side won't scratch the labels..........for those of us with OCD.
  18. Let's back up a little bit and steer you away from using VRT inside your vehicle. Leather Conditioner is the best option for your dash since it has SPF 65 and smells fantastic.........especially when compared to VRT with a hint of WC.
  19. Before you strip with APC or clay, etc, try some Brilliant Glaze on the streaks. It works wonders on other products to remove residue and level things out, so it just may save the day.

    Food Thread

Damn.........even though I just ate dinner I feel compelled to go light the grill.
  21. You are correct. My bad on the pic reference, but I see no reason why the Ceramic Trim Coating couldn't be applied under the hood.
