I agree with what has been said about your clear coat. My car did the same exact thing while I was in college (9 year old car). It sat outside all the time like yours does. I ended up having it repainted and had a much better clear coat on it. I saw the car the other day and the clear coat is still holding up great. BTW: The car was painted 13 years ago.
I agree. You just want make sure the surface is clean before you start polishing and waxing.
Nice pics of you vacation you had Rich. I would not mind having the rental car you had (perfect daily driver size). I have talked about going to Germany for few years (and taking my parents with me).
I Agree with you on that statement. I made a trip just with my father this summer.
I agree with Adam you might find a new rim on ebay or one that does not have many miles. You would not believe how many I found for my truck so that I could have a second set.
I have used the car wash in the past when I did not have enough time in my schedule to wash my daily driver. The only thing I have to remember is remove the antenna.
If they had not used the waterblade on the car.
Since I stated using Adam's products my daily driver has not even been to the car wash.
My truck has always been hand washed by yours truly.
I agree with you and your insurance will call it a road hazard. I have only one of those happen to me. I had Safelite Auto Glass replace the windshield instead of trying to repair it.
I just noticed the price.
With the larger rims remember you may have to have those low profile tires (that is what I call them). Remember they can bend easy unless the roads your driving is very smooth. I have seen several end up with damaged rims.
I received my three new detail sponges today. I am impressed how easy to use. I used them to detail the hood of a car. I used my detail spray along with the correct product per sponge. I will use them more this week. I did not get to make any pictures (too dark).
A little goes a long way. I noticed the more I use Adam's products I use less, on my second detail job I used half what I did with the first detail job.
Lowe's Motor Speedway (Charlotte) is a nice track. I guess my favorite track is Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol). Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
I agree with everyone above. The products do not like the extreme cold or heat. I have moved mine to the basement where it will stay around 60 - 65 degrees this winter.
While I was doing a clay job on the next vehicle that I need to complete. I noticed that the detail spray was turning black in color (of course the clay). It was dark outside and the weather forecast is rain until first of the week. So I thought why not use a microfiber and the waterless wash. It removed the black colored detail spray. I thought it would help until I could get some nice weather to actually wash. I did not remember someone posting about using it after they clay bar a vehicle.
