DieselDude got a reaction from bosco1 in Ready for the weather to break for a full strip and Adamizing....
Dan......Snowing again today........How about winter storm.......that evening we received around 3 inches and then another 1 inch this morning but now most of the street and driveway have melted. I am glad we got snow instead of any of ice and mix.
BTW: Congrat on that new toy you now have

Impressive to get it in that tight of place. Made me wonder since it is an Audi. Does it have a parking assist feature? I know Mercedes has Parktronic to help.

That doesn't look very good Chris. I would go have it looked at, especially if it does not hurt.

Turns out I still remember how to parallel park.

I found out that my bonus this year is going to be about 4 times what I originally thought! After taking care of a few maintenance items with my vehicles, dividing up a few bucks to each of my (3) daughters 529 accounts and getting something nice for my wife I was able to put together one hell of a shopping cart! Now I just need it to hit my account....

Thank You to everyone who participated in this. Miners are a different breed and have a different work ethic than the average American. I am proud to call them my brother.

I live in small town PA where steel and coal provided a living wage for generations. Now, both are gone from the area. I don't know what the answer to the problem is other than American's themselves taking this nation back from the huge conglomerates. But prayer sure is a powerful weapon. My wife and I will both join you in prayer on Saturday. We need God back in people's lives now more than ever.

I received this in an email at the office today (see below). Many do not realize how many people this has effected, also communities. Just to name a few companies (Alpha Natural Resources, Arch Coal, Cliffs Natural Resources, Consol Energy, James River, Rosebud Mining, Walter Energy, and many more).
First of all thank you for taking the time to read this email. One of the men here at my Coal Mine has approached me with an idea from his wife to set up a prayer time for coal. She went on to draft me to take charge of this vision. I think this is an outstanding Idea. The Bible says “ If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked way, then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” KJV II Chronicles 7:14. We know and must believe that prayer works and prayer changes things beyond our control. We are asking everyone who reads this and believes this to please stop what you are doing at 10:00 AM on Saturday February 6, 2016 and pray for the Coal Industry. We are living in difficult times but it is times like this that God can use to show the world that he is still in control. Please join us in this and please feel free to pass this on to as many people as you can by email, Facebook, by word of mouth or any means you have to spread the word and share in our vision. Again I thank you for reading and sharing this.

I'll be sure to keep a good thought for Chris and everyone else involved in the coal industry on Saturday

I think that's a great idea, coal runs many things in this country and provides jobs to so many.

We certainly need coal to make things go.
Ill pull over and take a moment for ya.

Everett, THANK You for posting this......I am and have been a coal miner for the last 35 years and I have seen the decline in coal and all the attacks on coal especially here in the last couple years.
I Pray for coal & coal jobs daily and I will remember to join in with all my brothers and sisters on February 6th. Again Thanks for posting!!

Told the wife that I got this McCulloch MC1385 Deluxe Canister Steam System to get the wrinkles out of the photography backgrounds.
Also told her that I would keep it in the garage since there is no more room in the closet.

Best of luck with the leg James.
I had a fun day at work today, i had to agree to do a few things that I normally wouldn't do. I like process and I hate when I am told to bypass my own process. BUt I do really like my bonus so sometimes it's good to be flexible lol
Then I shot a HS Basketball game, horrible game but still better than sitting at my desk
And technically my day isn't over, I have something that I can't start until 1 AM, should be done by 3 AM if all goes well.

Most of them are good but every once and awhile you get that one guy who was just looking for money and didn't care about what the customer thought. Every large place of employment has people like that, it's unavoidable.

DieselDude reacted to Kingsford in Help....Need some advice....
Safelite has very mixed reviews because you're not paying for a product but rather a service. Some technicians are not as good as others because of the human factor.

I don't agree here. They were the only ones who came to my house, and the only ones who had the large glass to fix my Caddy. Been two years and absolutely no complaints about the work at all. The bill came to a little over $500, and my deductable was the same amount so I just paid it. But mine just popped so there was nobody to go after for the money.

I would not touch anything until your adjustor looks at the vehicle, then if you wanted to wash and look for addition I would. (Also make picture before and after you wash too).
Safelite does install OEM if the car is new enough. I had my windshield replaced in my prior daily driver.

DieselDude reacted to Rich in Help....Need some advice....
Wait till your insurance adjuster gets all of his stuff done and filed before you touch anything. Be sure the other guy pays your deductable as well since it was his fault. Once you get the check for the repairs, I'd let them fix the windshield, but if once they wash it (and it's going to need washed to see the damage) they find deep scratches and it needs repainting then let them do that much. But don't accept it back until it's perfect. If it doesn't need painting, then go ahead and try and buff out any scratches or marks yourself. I'm still finding glass in the back of my car where the rear window blew out. You'll probably be finding glass for years too. Good luck friend.

Chris,
Rich gave you the best advice, patience by waiting for the adjustor.
Car can be cleaned up after, and more importantly, you didn't get injured.
