I have raw aluminum wheels coated and it has been a wonderful experience. These wheels have been the bane of my existence to care for...prior to this coating.  No winter driving yet, but no degradation thus far.  They are less than perfect from years of just being difficult to care for, but they’re not bad. But, since coating they have not digressed again. I have yet to need Wheel Cleaner on them. Soap and water during normal washes and WW for inbetween touch up jobs.

I use both the Revitalizer, and liquid Tide (not a lot).

Its always good to play it safe especially after having to spend money for paint! Im wishing I would have gotten mine done sooner.

If they bake the paint, my body shop tells people to wait a few weeks. Unbaked paint and you’ll want to wait 90 days or more.

You shouldn't experience too much run off in the engine bay under normal conditions. But if you do, just reapply. As you know, VRT isn't meant to be a long-term product.

I've also seen others use ID for the engine bay, and I think even Matte Detailer.

Has anyone tried the black trim restorer under the hood?

It works well, just a little messy to apply.

Here's a write-up I did over on the Ford Raptor Forum:

but that 20% off sale does things to me that don't allow me to think about the cold weather the coming week hahaha . Everything came unfrozen. very very cold but not frozen. the detail spray in my previous order that was almost frozen solid I ended up thawing it in warm water (didn't know any better) figuring it would be okay to do that. This was after it had already thawed some at room temp. Seems okay right now, if not O well at least it was the DS which I have plenty of.

Tony_G got a reaction from BlackCadi14 in Interior Detailer vs Interior Cleaner
I was a little confused as well. most interior detailers ive used in the past clean and protect but ive also had to use quite a bit of product at time to get really dirty spots clean.  Having both a dedicated cleaner means less detailer being used.  I also wanted to start with a clean start.

I also got both for these exact reasons. although its the same formula there is a time and place for either foam or spray
