  1. I have a few questions im hoping some members can assist me. Quik backround (maybe not so quick) : Im new to Adam’s prodcts but, been following videos and this forum since the beginning oF this year. Zero experience with any type of polisher. Ive been a “weekend detailers” for years and thought i took proper care of my cars until finding you guys. My 2 cars are 17’ Acura MdX advanced (black ?)and 13’ Acura TL (3 stage pearl white paint—-6 spd manual 20k miles). Both are DD and are kept in the garage as much as possible. Never used 2 bucket method until this year and the cars have seen a auto carwash maybe once or twice a winter (sorry had to get the salt off) This fall i noticed a bunch of swirls And “light” scratches from what appears to be improper washing techniques. Obv the swirls are much more noticable on my black car. So ive basically purchased what seems like everyrhing from Adams the past few months. I plan on CC both cars and just waiting for what is rumored to be new CC. I broke out the SK kit and did 3 step Correction on both. I did quick pass using the blue pad/heavy. (Decon,clay..etc). These are before pics Its extremely hard to see any switrls on the white paint I didnt think the white paint needed much work So after spending about 10 hrs on both cars last week i thought both cars looked near perfect. (Couldnt lift my arms that night. ) But i did the work in my garage with what i thought was enough LeD lighting. Well after driving both cars for he last week or so ive noticed a bunch lf remaining swirls in both vehicles. ***** I believe Shane said to use different lighting sources in previous post. I restripped my hood of my white car and hit the hood with Mf pad and HC. I took it much slower and def appears to be near perfect. Then used oragen and white FP. After MF pic: Long story for a few questions : (if you guys are still with me,, i thank u!! ) Should i have to use the MF w/HC for light swirls??? Should I be weary about using MF with HC on both my cars?? And if i do can i then go to thr Orangepad and COrrecting? Or have to use blue pad the orange then white!?!?!? Just afraid to kill the clearcoat!!!! Lastly. When is the new CC being released?? I have no other Adma’s wax yet!!
  2. Older thread..but any reason not to use WW for every wash?? Seems like a no brainer. Price difference is minimal.
  3. While on the Wash n wax topic.. for those familar w it—cant it be used as a daily wash or should it be mixed in w the reg CS?? On CC car.
  4. Interesting find..im looking to CC my cars this spring. Im waiting for a “possible” new CC to be released before i do it and this kit would def perfect for daily maintenance. Surprised Adam’s doesn’t advertise this on their site.
  5. Falcaineer is killing me..still. Give us another hint!! Or timeframe!! Something. If you saw it at the opening it cant be that big of a secret !!!!!
  6. I just received the Langka chip kit. Used it for first time this weekend as well. Decent results for chips. It definitely takes prectice. And if your not happy w the results u can do it again. Of course some members on this forum were talking about both langka and dr color chip. So i HAD to buy one. I went w Langka bc i could use the touch up paint inalready had for both my DD. It would def make That scratch much less noticeable.
  7. First time doing 3 step paint correction.....DONT do 2 cars in one day!!!!! I couldnt lift my arms By end of night!! I couldnt help myself though..SK works great.
  8. I def heard new version was possibly being released..im anxiously waiting..I did my first Full paint correction and dying to CC my cars! Its the reason ive been checking This forum and Adam’s website 50 times a day!!
  9. I didnt know that, thanks. Thankfully i still had the non-eco WC.
  10. Still, great job. What products did u use?
  11. I deconed my car for first time this weekend. I used diluted WC 1:1. Seemed to work fine. But i definitely received complaints regarding the odor! Im glad the WC bottle is empty so i can buy the Eco Wc next time. But the original WC works well as a wheel cleaner and as diluted decon treatment.

    Bottle Rack

Looks great. Few more days and i think we can break 50 degrees!! I noticed your dusters on the bottom..u use those?? I thought thatll those scratch the crap out of the paint. !?!?
  13. I dont have SW. was gonna use the APC with CS method.
  14. Thanks..i was thinking i was going to have to remove the “temporary” wax w the SK..but I forgot a strip wash will remove it!! It will definatley spread out the work. Maybe just a strip wax and light claying then just b4 the Cc application. I will def send some pics once i get going.
  15. With spring finally arriving (i think) I have been dying to break open my Adam’s products. I discovered Adam’s a few months ago and already a fan without even touching the products and thanks to all the info other members have shared i have a good idea of what i plan to do with my 2 daily drivers this spring. I grabbed the advanced SK 15mm with a bunch of other products and they are ready to go. I had planned to CC both vehicles ASAP. But thru the forums i have “heard” a new CC is possibly in the works. So I’m going to hold out as long as possible for thr new CC. But Im dying to use my sK. So If i do the full paint correction (decon, clay, etc..) now, can i leave the finishing polish on as top coat for next few weeks OR do i have to wax/seal now (after full paint correction) THEN when im ready to CC have to do a light clay then use SK with finshing polish again???? Also, i havnt purchased any Adam’s waxes/sealants bc i plan on using the CB over the CC. So i would be using the other products wax i USED to use. Thanks!!
  16. Old post but was thinking...Ive seen a few members mention diluting the VRT 1:1 for tires. But has anyone actually used it and any pics of results on a set of tires??? Just curious how the VRT would even mix evenly w/water?? I have both TS and VRT but was curious to experiment.
  17. Ur killing me!! U mean “Coating related” like ceramic coating????? Im a few days away from ordering my first Cermic kit!!
  18. Thanks for the help!! I definatley wasnt going to remove the salt with the RW..just complaining that i still have to wait few more weeks until roads are salt free. But look forward to adding RW to my arsenal!
  19. I havent tried RW yet. ??? so u guys make a bucket of it and use it for few light washes?? How many ounces do u guys recomend? Snow is forcasted twice this upcoming week so i have nothing but timE to figure it out.
  20. Interesting responses.. i havnt had chance to open any of my towels but assumed the double soft was gonna be the “best”. Glad to hear the borderless greys Are a favorite as well..already have a few packs ready....as soon as spring arrives gonna test them out! . Not gonna even mention the snow forcast for the NY metro area. Not worried about the actual snow but rather the salt thats probably gonna be dumped on road bc its last snow event of year.
  21. Its working great. I like the bar on the front, keeps me from knocking over the bottles like dominoes! To the left of the rack I ordered a “rubbermaid” type cabinet. I think it was like $80. Also have a matching rubbermaid type drawer underneath for towels/pads/etc. I keep my extra items in the cabinet and items I currently use on the rack. Everyone has whats works for them but i knew i wanted something closed to keep the towels in so when i use a blower cleaining off floor in garage i don’t accidentally get my MF full of dirt/debris. The cart definitely is a great idea too.
  22. There are definatley a bunch of posts on this. Some members have some serious collection and organization. I just bought this online...of course just a few weeks before Adam’s released their own version.
  23. Welcome. Sorry for ur loss...on the bright side this seems to be the place..ur dad’s car is gonna be in good hands and look forward to seeing the pics.
