  1. You shouldnt need any drying agent. I just coated my car..i have a cordless blower (E go-from box store) and water shoots off. Pretty awsome. I spoke to Adams this week, u can use detail spray with No issue if you choose.
  2. Looks great!! I just completed my first CC on Tuesday. I was able to wait about 30 hrs before applying CB. I too was concerned about the wait time or not using enough. I feel mine came out nice. This newer version seemed more forgiving..thats just going on what previous members have posted. Appearently if you put a CC on a car it prevents rain. Zip. Not a drop this week (which is a record this spring). Seems to rain ever other day past few months!! I too am still waiting for first rainfall!!!
  3. After reading several posts in these forums about Langka i ordered a set. Definatley an easy product to use. I had a few rock chips which are barely noticable after using Langka product. Im OcD w/ my car and i can barely see where it was repaired. A scratch will def take a little longer to hide but i bet langka will make it nearly undetectable while standing next to car. Good luck
  4. Another cloudy day..of course the only time in my life i want it to rain it doesnt! Dying to see the rain shoot off!!
  5. I just complete my first Cermic coating Sunday night. I hit it with CB this am and it looks pretty good. I was concerned about the towel and applicator too and just to see how “crispy” they got i left them in the garage until the next day. Im a little concerned bc niether mf or applicator were crispy at all!!!!.(i actually posted this concern the other day). So im hoping you shouldnt have an issue completing one car with the one applicator. Then have a second set ready for the second car. I waiting for some rain to see if i applied it correctly! But def odd the mf and applicator didnt feel any different. Good luck
  6. Thnx. Heading outside for quick wipedown as we speak!
  7. Older thread but could i use WAterless Wash as a quick detailer (light dust removal) on a CC car? I plan to use WnW as a soap and CB after washes as well.
  8. Thanks Shane! I wasnt planning on using the mf and applicator again just curious to see what it would be like. It did seem like not much of the product was left on the paint, as you said its only microns thick. Looking forward to applying the CB and then taking it outside to see the results. Thanks again
  9. After reading numerous posts and watching as many videos as i could find I attempted my first CC to my DD last night. I did full correction...prep spray and applied the coating as directed. Im hoping i didnt do anything wrong , but the coating wasnt as tacky as i have heard from other members during removal (i think the newer formula is supposed to be this way). The coating flashed relativley quickly and I let it sit for about another minute as directed. Its been about 12 hrs and i havnt noticed any high spots (yet!!). I placed the appliactor and the single soft mf that i removed the CC on the side (i know im supposed to toss it) and this AM i found tha tthe applicator and SS were as soft as they were when i started. Shouldnt at least the appliactor feel a little stiff from the Cc??? Im hoping someone else on the forum has used this new 9h cc and had similar results. Im gonna wait a total of about 36 hrs before applying the CB. It seemed to go to easy last night...i probably removed it too soon and basically wasted my time!! Also the new CC actaully left my car smooth ..once again im hoping that normal!!!!!!! Older reviews said their cars were left tacky!! ill CB it tomorrow and post some results.
  10. What would your reason be for disliking the CB?? Im going to CC my car tomorrow! I already have the CB on hand. Going to wash with WNW then maintain with CB for now.
  11. Ive seen bunch of pics of CB, never looked like that!! Thnx
  12. I just recieved my Memorial day order..CC kit and CB. First time w both products. Does this CB look right: this is after sahking vigorously..was wondering if it got too hot during shipment. The clumps are stuck on the bottle. Thought appreciated. I haven’t contacted Adam’s yet..i didnt want to bother them if its normal.
  13. LSX..i was gonna ask same questions. I just recieved my new CC kit yesterday and will be applying it this weekend. Shane u say once it fails (maybe 2 yrs), i will need to polish and re apply. Do you think the SK w finish polish (fp) will do the job or will i need COrrecting polish first then FP? And will a light claying once or twice a year cause swirl marks/scratches?? I grabbed a gallon of WnW and plan on using that for washing w the premium foam gun. Ill try to post some pics of the application process. Afraid of getting high spots on the coating ????
  14. Ive been using this cordless blower to dry my cars. Its much more powerful than previous generation cordless. I can easily blow off two cars, wheels and tires. Then i can hit it with either DS or HGG to get rid of any remaining streaks. It saves me a good amount of time and is light too. My cars are NOT Cermic coated yet!!! (Just placed my order today for the new CC kit !!). So if your cars are CC then the water will blow off extremely quickly and easy.
  15. I never used any machine until last month..got the 15 SK paint corr kit. Ive used it a few times attempting full corrections on my cars. I feel completely confident in using it. No swirls, no halos..just paint that looks close to glass!!
  16. I thought LPS goes down first on a daily driver then BG? I havnt used it but thought thats what people posted on forum. Im still waiting for a new ceramic coating but if its too much longer i may try LpS and BG.
  17. Adam’s insta pic (just posted) shows the gallon of US with other gallons for the BoGO sale! But still not on the sale page... odd.
  18. My first time for the gallon sale:...this one hurt my wallet?...couldnt help but order 5 gallons..i went with the Wash N wax, TS, eco WC, Interior DS, and APC!!! Plus a few other stuff i really “needed”. I got to use the “fathers day” gift excuse!!! Im still waiting for the rumored new Cermic coating! Im using my crap wax from the other company in the meantime and dont know how much longer i can wait.
  19. Jeez. What they hit it with? A bulldozer?? Feel bad for u man!!!
  20. Anychance you could capture and post a picture of the high spots? Im looking to CC my car and curious what it looks like. Then hoping another member can help fix the issue!!! Im sure when i coat my car its gonna have a few high spots
  21. I believe I did read this particular thread about the lights. I think my white car’s paint is as good as Im gonna get it. Like i said its about 95% corrected. Im pretty OcD but ill accept the work ive done for now!! Gonna work on my black MdX and hope i can get that fully corrected this week. For my purposes, i think ill just use natural light as my source from now on considering its a DD. Thnx for the responses!
  22. Oh man!!! That awful. Then after cleaning it up you had to still wax it!!!!! Throw down a few beers and try again tomorrow. !!!
  23. Thanks for the response.. I took another shot at my white TL. Test spot(s) first—seems that i need the MF with HC. I took my time. Then used orange and finished with white FP. After all said and done, Lighting is key!! The swirls were not visable with the SK light or even natural daylight. You could only see them when you looked at the suns reflection on the car. (Maybe too OCD). So after today about 97% of the swirls are gone. Threw on a coat of my old wax..waiting on a hopefully new Adams CC. I will take another shot at my black car next week. Just as you said ill test a small spot and take it slow with the orange pads first.
  24. This is pic of the MdX after first round of corrections: Looks near perfect but in proper lighting, in certain spots, light swirls still visible.
